  • Are you in the market for a 2015-2020 Ford F-150? It's certainly a hot item, and while the current generation of this popular pickup is coming to a close, you're spoiled for choice on the used market.
The 2018 refresh might make later models your best choice if it's within your budget, thanks to updates across the powertrain lineup, wider availability of safety tech, and some tweaks to the cosmetics and feature list. But regardless of the year, various body styles, engines, and trim grades enable plenty of selection.
So, Justin Pritchard is here to help you make sense of your options. He'll also go over the problems you should look out for on your test drive, as well as three F-150 alternatives you should also consider. Check out the full story here: wp.me/p3LQCT-1FIO

Just over 100k miles and besides one leaking rear shock and a new battery this past spring? ZERO issues.

November 2021 I bought a USED 2015 F150 XLT FX4 4wd with 105000 miles on it. Has the package with the Lariat-like center console 6 speed shifter and that awesome 5.0 Coyote V8. I LOVE THIS TRUCK! Haven't had any issues and am at 119000 miles driving long road trips. It drives wonderfully on and off the road bone stock. 6 speed transmission is great in the mountains. IMO better than the newer 10 spd tranny I had in a rental truck. Can do serious off roading just fine with stock FX4 package. Great 4wd system with very useful rear diff locker. Taking good care of it with regular maintenance. Hope it will last me many years.

I bought a 2015 F150 Lariat 4x4 in November of 2021. It has the 5.0 coyote V8 and is a super clean, it looked and drove like new when I test drove it. I have 142k on it now and it still runs great with no problems whatsoever. I keep up with all maintenance on time and so far have done a transmission flush, rear diff and transfer case fluid change, new spark plugs, cabin filter and k&n drop in air filter. I need to do the brake fluid and coolant change soon. Over all its a great truck and I hope to drive it for a long time.

For the 3.5 or 5.0 “absolutely” be sure of the cam phasers replacement to the up dated part number. This is an expensive repair and should have been done under warranty. An other thing with turbocharged engines. Get into the habit of warming your engine up and letting the turbos cool after use. Example, If you pull off the interstate let the engine idle a few minutes before shutting it down. To help prolong turbo life.

I have a wife, a 17 year old kid and a 90lbs dog. I am looking to get a pickup truck sometime next year 2020. I have watched your videos to try to see which would fit our needs best. The trouble is most all reviews focus on towing. My situation is a little different. My primary purpose is to haul the family and commute to work daily ( about 60/40 city/freeway) nothing extreme, and only about 50 miles a day round trip). The truck aspect is for the occasional trash haul, or helping someone move, or getting plywood at Home Depot for some project.
With all that being said, I want the most comfortable room, best fuel economy, reliability, safety and price. What is your recommendation?
    Thank you.
