Almost the perfect sporty. I'd throw a springer front end and call it complete! Love the look. Definitely looking forward to the day I build out a sporty!
I have been meaning to tell you, it was last May/22 I stumbled upon one of you videos, and relly enjoyed the way you present them. After watching about 5 of them randomly, at the age of 44 went out got my beginers permit and purchased my 1st motorcycle (Honda shadow phantom) I know it's not a Harley I'm working on that. Anyways I wanted to say thanks. At least for me your RUclips videos got me started.
Absolutely loving this. Also, what I’m enjoying about your shop success is about how many cool bikes there are in the background, but it’s just normal now. You can’t film every customer bike. Congrats guys. 🤙🏻🇦🇺😎
I absolutely love what you did with this bike. I have a 2004 xl883c that I'm working over. It was a "if you can ride it home you can have it" kind of deal. Pulled it out of the blackberry bushes and jumped it off. It kinda ran. Anyway. The turnaround you did here was phenomenal. I'm inspired.
Whoa. I just returned after a long while and now we see your face haha. I started watching you with the OG iron way back whenever that was cool to see how far this has gone.
"Iron '72"..! Lovin' it. The low sportster in the background is a stnner also. Gonna build out a sporty soon. Just getting the ideas together. Super channel. Come to UK again. Just for some down time on the south east coast during Margate Meltdown, aka Biker Day.
One of my favorite builds! Love this Iron 72! Favorite part is the DK Velocity Stack...might need to get me one of those from DK for my 2012 Nightster...thanks for sharing!! And, yes, always have loved the paint on those tins...I also have a 2013 Dyna in the Hard Custom Big Red Flake!!
Beautiful bike, that seat makes it look amazing even if its probably not ideal for potholes… looks like it’s perfect for the petite Captain Anna sized riders who visit your shop
The result is absolutely gorgeous. I'd put on a lower handlebar, but that's just my personal preference. I'm actually taking the opposite route with my 1990 Sportster 1200. After having it sitting in the garage for too long, gathering dust, it's now at my local garage to have a complete overhaul. I'm getting rid of some of the chrome parts and will be changing them over to black, with a nice black-chrome mix that should be interesting.
For me Iron and 72 are the most beautiful bikes straight from factory, but to be honest those are too relative to have a baby :D . Very interesting experiment btw. Cheers!
Would the shorter suspension not make it an even less comfortable ride? I'm just asking bcuz I guess I'm one of the few that prefers comfort over "looks".
Now that I saw the brass, I think it'd be cool if you could get the chrome pieces like the forks in a brass color somehow along with the other trim pieces. Would look cool with the gold pinstriping. Still a badass bike, man.
First Harley was a 2012 XL1200V AKA Seventy-Two in the Big Red Flake paint. Stage 2 and although not a speed demon it gave the Big Twins a run for their money off the line. Stopping for gas every 70 miles was a pain in the ass though....
I’ve been missing the step by step bike builds from you guys so much! Keep posting. Red 72 looks sick!
This is the sickest thing. Iron 72. Call Harley. This should be a stock sportster offering!!
Man, that thing is beautiful, love the name Iron72. You should do some more front to back, full build mini episodes.
Almost the perfect sporty. I'd throw a springer front end and call it complete! Love the look. Definitely looking forward to the day I build out a sporty!
I got ideas like that too.
I’m just here for the deryl clarification 😂
Me too
People call me Darrell but actually it's Darrow. Oh and stuff on is pronounced Stephan not Stefan.🤣😎
That thing is gorgeous. You absolutely added a great twist to it. Should be factory.

That's awesome man, glad the videos helped out!
Very cool, also love having Her Two Wheels check in at the shop
I like the red and black together. And the little kids cheering is the best!
The Iron 72 is it. Rock it bruh!
Absolutely loving this. Also, what I’m enjoying about your shop success is about how many cool bikes there are in the background, but it’s just normal now. You can’t film every customer bike. Congrats guys. 🤙🏻🇦🇺😎
I can dig the idea of an Iron 72.
Killer looking Custom Harley Iron 883!Love the Apes and Gas Tank!Geat Job!
Wow this bike turned out really awesome !
Love seeing u doing the build. Like the old days. loving the content too 💙
hello Scottish bro
My fav, springer solo seat. Got one on my 90 XL 883 with stock rear shocks. Very comfortable, can ride all day.
That headlight really ties it in. Love it
Clean looking Sportster. I like it.
Definitely love the Hard Candy paint and I have the same RRI blinkers. Beautiful little bike!
Whoa. I just returned after a long while and now we see your face haha. I started watching you with the OG iron way back whenever that was cool to see how far this has gone.
Nice little conversion! I really like the air cleaner setup!
72 is the most beautiful sportster
Sweet looking sportster.
Absolutely beautiful bike ❤ wish I could afford do something similar to my 87 Sportster!
Looks great and the red and black is on brand for Blockhead garage.
Nothing like a sweet looking sporty ✌🏽
Always creative, excellent
Love that 72.
Iron 72 is dope. I love the original flake paint from HD.
Can’t wait to see the hardtail build! I have a 2012 that I hardtailed. Was definitely a challenge but well worth it!
One of my favs.
Ya I low key like it better up right too, it looks way nicer facing up🔥🤙🏽. (15:19)
Sick looking sportster!
HOLLY sh.... Blockhead. You shown your face!!! Kool bro

RRI has great customer service !

Love it! We need more Sportster love!
Just luv your ideas for Harley's plus great to see you work on a bike again 😀
DK is my main go to for certain things. They know what they’re doing.
Good looking bike, that 72 iron
Sounds good too
*Battery is dead* CLASSIC BLOCKHEAD MOMENT
Why has you down on the fp3?
Beautiful bike, that seat makes it look amazing even if its probably not ideal for potholes… looks like it’s perfect for the petite Captain Anna sized riders who visit your shop
Siiiiick
Bike looks awesome 😎
Awesome
Nice job
Can you call it MINE! sick AF
Sick. Looks great.
Sounds DAMNED AWESOME ! I LOVE IT ! Robert Lee Kerns- National H.O.G. ( Harley Owners Group ) Member in Columbus, Georgia 😎

Very cool man!
Looks clean!
I absolutely love that bike. 👍
good mind fly over from England just for a go on it lol.
I like it... Sounds great and looks great 👍🤙✌️
For me Iron and 72 are the most beautiful bikes straight from factory, but to be honest those are too relative to have a baby :D . Very interesting experiment btw. Cheers!
Wooow!! first time seeing your face
Just missing some White walls
Cool episode I miss my iron 883 🤙🏻
we need one of those blockhead garage flags 🏴☠
Man thats nice, my kids n i are at mama tried right now n my son is hoping to find you
Why didn't you move the brake and shifter forward? It's a beauty though. Nice work.
Gawd, I hate ridding hardtails in my old age.
Call it thang 1
Nice!
Would the shorter suspension not make it an even less comfortable ride? I'm just asking bcuz I guess I'm one of the few that prefers comfort over "looks".
Sick!
Can you provide the link with the seat please
Cool bro
Nice
How do this thing ride with those struts. Obviously stock suspension rides shitty on freshly paved roads. But how do those struts handle bumps
Now that I saw the brass, I think it'd be cool if you could get the chrome pieces like the forks in a brass color somehow along with the other trim pieces. Would look cool with the gold pinstriping. Still a badass bike, man.
Two minutes into the video and I am lost! 😂
Badass!
whats that thing you put on the crank case breathers
I'd definitely rip around on that.
I'm buying a 2023 Breakout 117 in a couple months, thinking of cool, louder pipes, any suggestions?
Black TC bros sissy bar would be cool on the Iron 72
What handle bars are those, and what size
Sooo cool 🔥
I really like that, would be a fun round town ride. Not so sure about the 🌽 star mustache though.
What about a red 72 on the battery cover and oil tank cover on each side, kinda like people do for the 48s
I can't disagree with you it looks good
Where can I get that seat?
Would sell both legs to work for your shop, wicked bike 🤙🏼
Wow, love it. This one going to be for sale?
I would think SOME suspension is better than none. I am too old for a hard tail.
Chrome don't get ya home!✌😎

I feel this pain, have a 2013 lol
@blockhead , did i see a mandalorian helmet crumpled up in a toolbox at minute 17:44 don't do that jejejeje
I've missed the build videos
I want to buy it, how much?
If you're serious, it's now for sale 😅 Send an email our way about it if you're serious, lol (info @ blockheadmoto .com)
