Yes, supposedly these socks are stronger than steel and theoretically should keep our feet safe from skateboarding without shoes right? Right?!
Today we ditch the shoes, put on some new socks, and play a game of skate to test if these socks have what it takes to protect our SOLES!

I used to skate in socks because I didn't want to shred up my shoes, I regretted that so much, it shredded up my socks, grip tape is no joke

There is such a thing as kevlar socks they sell them in motorcycle shops. The brand "Draggin" is well known and same material as bullet proof vests. I have no idea what these are made of though.

The socks are made out of a material (spectra, dyneema, vectran etc) that has a higher tensile strength than the equivalent size steel. That does NOT mean it won't abraid, and it will - far, FAR faster than steel.

Originally I wanted to write lol, after hearing the price, I noticed I got heel and toe supporting socks for 50€ each 😅😂 - they help and support in sports- but they’re really tight and leave marks on the skin … so go on guys 😅👌👍

I have a new skate game idea. Call it the Skunkd Game of Skate. The goal is to skunk a player by winning the game with 5 letters to none. This is done as letters can be removed from a player if they toe the score. For example, if both players get S, the score resets. If the score is SKA to none, and the second plays gets an S, the score will be SK to none. Winner has to get 5 consecutive letters. As you can imagine, the game may be quite long. SK8 may be an option, or players have to start the game with difficult tricks to try to end the game as quickly as possible.

I have a funny video idea: go to a skatepark like mid day where there’s a lot of people and act like someone who’s just learning how to skate. Then after some time when you have peoples attention start shredding and show off. I think it will be funny to see the reactions of ppl.
