I try to be as fair as possible cause strictly keeping everything too meta won’t help new players out
This is great. I have Himeko from losing Sparkle's 50/50, and Bronya came at wish 50 from the standard banner. So I got lucky early. Been wondering who to build toward since then.
Welt and Gepard were at the top of my list. :)

my recommendation is (which to go for first)
1. Bronya (you'll need a buffer, a good one at that.)
2. Himeko (late game, she'll be gud like u said)
3. Welt (if you use his ult before the boss' second move, it skips it completely, really good for some bosses, doesn't work for the Aventurine boss tho)
4. Clara (really useful, pair her with Dr. Ratio, Aha would be proud.)
5. Gepard (honestly, kinda tedious, imo PreservationTB>Geppie)
6. Bailu (one-time rev, Natasha's better but Bailu's situational, there are lots of other cheaper alternatives you can go for, honestly like Gallagher or Lynx)
7. Yanqing (never get him bro, like fr, if i wanted a worser dr ratio, then I wouldn't have claimed him for free.)
I got bronya as my free 5 star after 5 10x summons, so I got lucky? I'm new to the game.
I have some harmony characters build (sparkle, robin, asta), so idk if i should get bronya, i also really like welt, but im also thinking of getting himeko to do the herta team.. idk what to choose
Thanks for the vid. I'm getting close to my 300th wish ( I just started playing Honkai 1-2 months ago) and I already have Gepard (E2 at this point) and Yanqing so I've been debating on who to use for my selection. I was initially going to go with Welt just because I like his character, I have been using Clara as my support on a few things and like her too, but everyone keeps telling me Bronya is the way to go and honestly I think I need more defensive/supportive characters. (I came in on the Firefly banner and now just have a slew of destruction characters, I even was building pity and got Yanli)
Oh shoot I didn't realize till JUST now Bronya is wind. I have NO wind characters save for Dan Heng and was tempted to get Feixiao JUST for that reason. I may have to consider her just for the fact I need more Wind Characters.
I have geopard, bailu, bronya and welt.
If i get clara in 100 pulls that are left, i am taking himeko

Imo Welt as he is the most future proof compared the to other 5 star units with how unique he is in terms of debuffing, I am not saying there won't come a day where he somehow gets powercreeped, but for the foreseeable future that sounds near impossible

On my main I picked Gepard due to needing a sustain back when I started playing. For my alt I plan to either pick Bronya or Welt but I lean more to Welt for my Acheron team.😊
I genuinely want to unlock yanqing but e1 welt is just so tempting 💀 (i use welt with archeon)

I have all standard characters except bailu and im not planning on getting her because i already have lynx luocha and aventurine. But im close to 300 pulls, should i get e1 himeko, welt, bronya or e2 clara, im very conflicted. On one hand, i have 0 pf characters built except maybe acheron, and pela so maybe i need e1 himeko, on the other if i e1 bronya it might help me with a future hypercarry dps in terms of sp management. But e1 welt is also tempting as i might try sustain welt but also e2 clara is tempting as i dont have a physical dps and shes one of my already heavy built characters but i already have the rrat team.
So currently i narrowed it down to Himeko Bronya and Clara. Clara and himeko for pf, clara for the dot pf and himeko for just pf in general and bronya for hypercarry. Thing is i dont have a hypercarry (yet) and i have 0 pf characters built.
I dont have Bronya, but may honest to god take himeko for aoe content as my account has no good erudition and im fine enough on Harmony
Herta is fine and you can e6 for free
Personally, still rec Bronya;
good buffer, has a built-in cleanse, and had a 100% pull forward no matter what situation, which won’t become redundant anytime soon, and is very future proof.
Clara, Gepard, Welt, and Himeko (not in order.) are also good options, e0 Himeko and Clara are good pick ups, but the welt isn’t that worth it if it’s e0. if it brings your welt to a e2, then that would be good pick up, but wait till you really want it. Gepard is a good Shielder, but he sadly can’t cleanse or heal, making him worst then the current limiteds, especially since you can get aventurine instead of him, but if all the preservation limiteds are out, and he’s your only option, he’s a good pick up, but not going to crazily change your teams sadly ;-; .
but while I say this, wait a bit before choosing, since once you go to 300 pulls, it doesn’t go away, and if you happened to get that unit you picked for after selector, you just wasted it :/ .
Another option is to choose whoever you want, since I’m not the boss, and you know your account better than me.
Do what you want, and tune your own account, but I would rec getting one of the before mentioned picks if you don’t have them, since more characters are better than eidolons. (Unless it’s e2 welt, which is a good enough bargain, but rare..)

XD technically your not wrong, 100% action advance is great an she will always be good fo tha, it's jus funny hearing you say it will not be powercrept anytime soon, technically your not wrong, bu depending on how you think about it, the new character robin kina does overshadow her, it's kina the gepard aventurine situation in reverse, bu yea your not really wrong bu its funny
@@Yumiaia-26 yeah, funny since I knew parts of robin’s kit when I posted this, with the 100% advance not being stated yet, but that’s a good point;
but imo, cleanse on a hook-unit is always going to be op, especially being 100%, and cleanse just being good for all content, as well as bronya’s ult being ult-shotted, meaning it won’t tick down till after the turn, giving you another turn cycle if it happens on her turn.
But like I said before, everything else is also really good options, also Robin still has downsides, being that the action adv. is ult-locked, and she then going into a state meaning you can’t bring up more people till next ult-proc.
Good unit, but from what I’ve been hearing, she sounds a lot like a sub dps harmony unit, and that’s going to be a interesting twist to meta, but we’ll see in about a week.
i was set on clara as i have her lightcone from standard, until i saw the leaks of a character that is completely powercreeping her. i will go for himeko instead as i have every single standard including e1 bronya apart from himeko and clara
I have sparkle so, time to get himeko. I got the new fire characther also, so i can build a huge fire break effect team
i was wondering if jingliu needs a healer on her team, i don’t know if i should get gepard or bailu for the final slot-

Honestly in Honkai you straight-up need some of these units like Gepard.
Genshin doesn't have that issue.

@@fatuusdottoreyou can use a 4 star healer like Lynx which is given for free. If you mean story content, both Honkai and Genshin story content is easily completable. If you mean end game modes, both require a lot of grinding and team building

For me it's either Himeko, Clara, or E1 Yanqing. I've been playing for 3 months I have an E2 Bronya 😭. Hoyo pls just give me Himeko 😢 So I don't have to use my free 5 star to pick her and can instead get E1 Yanqing or Clara.
If you get himeko do Clara if you didn’t get himeko select himeko yanging is not worth it
@@tri2046 Nah it's fine for me. I like Yanqing and I've got him in a good set-up. But I already know Himeko gonna go crazy with Firefly in the future. I lost an early 50/50 today and I got Bailu 😭😭. Hoyo PLZ give me Himeko.
my problem is that i have every single 5 star standard character besides himeko and clara and im almost at the 300 wishes😭 so who should i get between them? or maybe should i go for a e1 bronya or gepard?
It depends imo on the rest of your units if you want to go for efficiency but remember you dont need to use the selector immediately and at the end of the day just get the one you want. Himeko is great for pure fiction if you struggle there and clara is decent in a fua team but very situational due to her counter mechanics.
E1 gepard is not worth

I picked mine yesterday and just picked clara because I liked her (svarog). I have no other reason..
