My family is big on putting newspapers in the walls/under flooring when they do projects. I live in my family home and tore up some flooring to find a newspaper my dad put in in 1982. I've also found pennies a few times.

I did 2 kitchen renovations this year (Mine/Brother's). I took an old Halloween skeleton and wrapped it in some torn drop-cloth which I tied into bundles with twine. I put these into the unused area of the kitchen cabinets. Heh....
I had directions to the nearest supermarker behind the original wallpaper I exhumed from my 60s build--all previous owners just painted over the paper/previous paint so I guess I was the first to see it... also, a newspaper under some of the carpet to date it, I guess?

If I remember correctly they checked the age of the paper and researched murders/deaths/disappearances in the year and location it happened. All this while directly interviewing the guy. If I remember right they deduced it was a fake since nothing really added up.
Yeah someone definitely put that doll there the note was clearly written by someone lol. Dolls don't write notes and if they were able to write anything it certainly wouldn't be that elaborate 😂.
