Lexus is true luxury. When you buy a luxury product you want it to be high end/quality but you also want it to last longer than a non luxury product and Lexus is the only luxury car that is truly capable of this.
Man with this body kit it looks BADASS. I love the interior. Love that motor. Love the go anywhere drivetrains. Love the angry front end. This is the best Luxury SUV. The only downside is mpg but if you have the money this can’t be beat
Matt love your vids. I’d appreciate if you also mention metric system in brackets whenever you mention torque, weight etc.... cater for your international viewers, cuz we are here!
I haven’t seen the video not yet anyway but I just want to comment your simple thumbnail is impeccable keep up the great work bro your thumbnails alone makes me want to watch every video of yours that’s how good this one thumbnail is I didn’t mean this to be mean it’s just you’re thumbnail it’s so dope
I really dont understand why the japanese brands take so long to refresh their models. The germans have way more vehicles in their lineup and they manage to refresh each within 4-5years
If made in Germany it is reliable and lasts. If made in a combination of countries or states less reliable and many visits to the mechanic. We have 1 E 450 from Germany and one entry level suv which may not last 5 year and have been to mechanics for months at first. then additional random faults.
The old key card is kind of thick and heavy to have in wallet all the time though, and car cannot be unlocked remotely, not sure if there is a new one. But overall still useful for those that don’t want to carry another large key fob.
Matt, you and the Mrs (sorry I don't know her name), do great reviews. I would like to recommend something new. I love night POV reviews. No one else is posting half daytime and half nighttime reviews. Be the first. Be sure to post ambient lighting on high and low settings. You will get many more views and likes. All the best.
Reliable, but overwrought styling on the front end and poor approach angles for any offroad aspirations, combined with out-of-date tech. For six figures. Pass and wait for the 300 series Land Cruiser.
The motor itself may be bullet proof and last a million miles but will the electronics and sensors? Maybe not. Ive had a couple cars recently whose motors were just fine but they left me stranded due to not being able to start the car due to electronics gremlins
What a strange way of introducing a new vehicle. Too much talking. People are interested in seeing the exterior and interior video, the technical details, cost, then the pro and cons about the driving test.
The Styling is Ancient as well as the Dash and rear end. I'd go with anything else for a more updated feel. For 101K You can buy so much more for less in other brands. Lexus has been losing its luster to the rest of the industry. They used to be #1 but they have fallen short all around. I guess the only thing going is the reliability. This looks like it came from 1995! LOL
It’s an anachronism for sure. But with all the aging boomers around, I suppose it’s an alternative for those who are slightly technophobic and wary of the jackrabbit crazy quick and firm CUVs/crossovers being force fed to auto consumers as an alternative to an old Eldorado....but if there’s any candidate for needing a mild hybrid/electric assist for efficiency, it’s this. It, then again, doing a million miles w that engine albeit in a Tundra is impressive in this auto lease age. that’s basically going back and forth to the Moon....Twice! And halfway back a third time.
And in my opinion, I think that the reason the 0-60 run is 7.2 seconds might be because of how heavy this thing is. What do you think, Matt? Or do you agree with me as far as what I said?
Such a high asking price for a vehicle with such poor gas mileage. But I guess at this price range, anyone who can afford this wouldn't care about frequent gas station visits.
How the hell you only got 12 mpg????? The question is not why the LX570 is bad on mpg but why you only got 12 mpg...... I got 16 mpg in the freeway and 15 mpg in the city.... this is an SUV..... not a sport car.... sl if you drive it like a sport car then you're gonna pay at the pump.... this SUV is meant to be driven gently and responsibly..... you are just a bad driver...
No idea why anyone would buy a new one of these dinosaurs today. So inefficient, so dated, so ugly. Sure it will last forever though, but I don't want to drive one vehicle forever.

One of my dream vehicles
calvin kang with that atrocious grill? Yuck
JustJay 0312 way better than Bmw kidney, merc grille and audi grille

"Hey nice Lexus- what year is it?"
"2020"
"How many miles?"
"325k"
How does it run?"
"Perfectly."
I have a 2001 Sequoia with over 300k miles. Looking to get this!
Just described my 04 LC100, lol.

The only thing above anything else.
RELIABILITY
Sure it may be a bit outdated but the LX570 is the most capable SUV in its class and possibly the best one too
Merc GLS: Am I a JoKe tO YoU
GhostPrime21 bruh no
Reliable luxury, I’ve only had LX for the daily/family haulers and not a single complaint
This my dream car doesn’t need any updates its beautiful tank with predator face, its the suv my dreams😎😍
I was expecting the power to be dead down low, but that’s actually pretty impressive
That 5.7 motor is robust
Great Review Matt, haven’t watched your videos in a minute. Glad to see you doing what you do best.
Thanks for watching this one!
idc if its dated, i would buy this over any german car
but the X7 and GLS are way better
I own a land cruiser best vehicle ever!
Send it to Canada please. Can't find a single one of Land Cruiser in the whole country.
Matt love your vids. I’d appreciate if you also mention metric system in brackets whenever you mention torque, weight etc.... cater for your international viewers, cuz we are here!
Holy shit it looks like a beast wtf
one of the best luxury suv
own a '14 LX ... love it ... this version doesn't need a sport appearance package
This is like the 4Runner PLATINUM level:
4Runner/Hilux Equivalent - Base/Entry-level
sequoia - Bronze
land Cruiser - Silver
GX 460 - Gold
LX 570 - Platinum
Its a proper mans car,reliable,luxurious,beautiful....its just amazing
Lexus sold about 5,000 of this LX570 every year..... so there people who still want a relevant SUV
My uncle got the same one but in white. The sport makes it look sick!
Jesus, I see why there are only a handful used LX models on autotrader...
They last forever and nobody gives them up!
Is this Matt Farrah's million mile Lexus ?
This lexus million mile Farrah Matt is.
My dream suv😍
The LX570 would be the type of SUV I would definitely offroad like tbh it’s not my type to drive everyday on the road

Bad fuel economy because you didn’t use Eco Mode 😂
The Super Duty with the 7.3L Godzilla V8 gets the same or even better MPG, wow.
That grill could eat an orca

GhostPrime21 For BMW and Audi yes but for Mercedes Benz I don’t think so

hi Matt. nice vid. liked b4 watching b/c I knew it was going to be good
Should Say WOOOW After see the Lx570
King of the road

Hey, I have a question, what interior color does lexus from the video has ? Is it brown or red ?
We need sport version of Lexus LX 570 comes with 2 row seats to compete with Rang Rover sport.
Put a vr38 in this bad boi
The credit card feature is nice since I leave in my wallet and whenever my wife needs me to run to the car I know I always have a key.
Lexus has had that thin key thing since the mid 2000s
Which car?
fj717 the ls430 . It was optional.
"Let's turn onto this back road here, and see how it does"
At my age, I'm ok with a softer ride
That thing looks gigantic. I know that's what she said before anyone else says it.
Your mom said so 🤷
S K haha.
Not in North America though, in London or Tokyo of course it’s gigantic.
The motor itself may be bullet proof and last a million miles but will the electronics and sensors? Maybe not. Ive had a couple cars recently whose motors were just fine but they left me stranded due to not being able to start the car due to electronics gremlins
Can imagine nothing comes close to this in sand dunes in Arab states. Surprised sell in Europe still.
Great review, but this is the Sewickley and Fox Chapel estates only.
this sport appearance package is sooo 😬
so overstyled. the regular version looks elegant.
It is just too hectic looking
And this will last for at least a few more presidential terms, if we do get to see those eventually though.
i would like to see Lexus's 5.0 from f models in this thing 🤷
In qatar it's a qatari citizen symbol being a lexus 570 owner

I don't see the styling as ancient. Looks modern and nice imo
Its obnoxiously huge and tall towards the backend like its predecessors im inclined to lower the springs
It's a luxury box with a very big mouth. But if you want space, high driving position, then its very good.
This is so much more than just space and high driving position.
They had that card key back in like 2012

Yes, the weight is what slows it down.
Matt Maran Motoring That’s what I was thinking haha
I don’t mind the weight this doesn’t hide what it is and I love it. It’s heavy and badass
I love everything but I think they exaggerated on the grill
Those low bumbers make it difficult for off roading
Jesus christ the grill. Also review one of the panther platform *wipes out claws* cars
review a Toyota Sienna
i like the regular grille, as well as the sport one, but those little boxes on the bottom are hideous
I had a 1997 4Runner and it had the same overly boosted brakes. Toyota never updates anything.
V6 twin turbo hybrid would be more friendly to your fuel costs... 12MPG is lame.
I just can't get along with that front face. Those ground effects kit also limit it's off-road capability
Nice but those damn things are way too expensive.
TTown918 and ugly front end
Too damn expensive? This is price exactly for what it is.
$110,000 over 20 years period comes to $5,500/year . This is cheap with trouble free suv .
@@jessicayoung1190 Oh right. Very few people will keep it for 20 years to get to your math.
The problem I have with this car is that the third row seat is too low and uncomfortable for adults
You can buy them used cheap. Due to the overstyling. Not bad.
This looks badass love the styling especially with this sport kit
No one is taking this off road...ON PURPOSE.
Ya at over 105000 I don't think I would lol
In dubai they do
They do take this off road
You keep saying a body on a frame suv, what is that?!!
it’s a body on frame suv
Owning a 2015 LX 570 fully loaded, I can totally say its a very nice car. I wouldnt buy one now as its super dated. Wait for the redesign.

If you can afford it. Paying for gas should not be a problem

Isn’t Lexus Toyota’s “luxury” brand?
Exactly
If It is A Dream for you So what is it for us in IRI? (Most Valueless Money in the world)

Why does the new lexus have to be so ugly? Whats up with this humongus grill...it spoils a good car!

It’s literally the same car. There are both made by the same people! Even the parts and accessories fit interchangeably.
