As a Chinese American I remember growing up and always going to this one local Pho place and always getting the roast duck pho. I loved it and I still go by myself.

They are also similar to Sopapillas from Mexico. It's so cool how different cultures in different parts of the world have so many cooking techniques and dishes that are similar in function, but also so different in taste.
I'd prefer you keep the voice of the original speaker and subtitle it directly on the screen instead. Your channel wants to emphasize and project their voices, not cover them up.

Great video. I love when they make something new from a tradional dish. I do that myself with recipes. Start by following the recipe and then next add or take away something and come up with a new dish. Great to see Calvin and the beautiful Thuyen.

Pho roll has been here for years. My grandparents in lao use to make it but mainly with veggjes. They did it to use rice in a different way. And the rice puff us hmong been doing it for years

Great vid as always but the voiceovers were a bit distracting, preferred the subtitles so we can hear the chefs talk in their own voices!

The deep fried " pockets" is similar to bread dough that we cut or shape and deep fry in South Africa 🇿🇦 and we call it " vetkoek"
