    I hurt a friend badly once, and we haven’t spoken in months. I’ve tried to change how I act, becoming more conscious with everyone. Which is why I get scared when everyone says people can’t change their ways. I’ve been trying to be a nicer person (maybe a people pleaser) but I feel like people can change, if they accept their mistakes and try.

    I always feel so incredibly bad for all of the people I have harmed because of my past self, but I've grown to accept that my actions are redeemable but I still have to do A LOT of self reflection and destroy my bad habits and gain more motivation to do more fun stuff instead of just sitting on my bed all day waiting for something cool to happen. I want to be better and be more mature and ya'll have helped with that, Thank you so much

      me too guys. im so sick of living life doing absolutely nothing. i hide in my room too much. i used to enjoy it but now i dont. i realize that isolating myself only made me worse throughout the years. it made me feel so mentally drained, lonely, and it made me form the dumbest habits. which im proud to say that i've been trying my best to go outside more, explore nature, and spend more time with family and friends. and for over a month, i haven't rlly done any of my bad habits. i still have lots of bad days. but even on those bad days, i try my best to not let it get to me too much. we can all get through this journey of becoming the best versions of ourselves :) reading both of your comments made me feel less alone in this journey

      Nobody's perfect so we all mess up from time to time. But beating yourself up every time you mess up isn't gonna help with anything. Don't think you've failed your self improvement journey when you slip up but simply realize you're in the wrong and get back on coarse

      My teacher once asked us a question as to who is person whom you find it the hardest to forgive .
      It is ourselves
      We forgive others easily but when it comes to ourselves,it's not so much easy now is it.

      Try pay attention to subconscious too if you can and gut feelings, intuitions.
      Warning : sometimes we think we need to eat, whereas we need to drink water, cause theses feelings are similar.

    I would like to take this opportunity to say that thank you psych2go team. I really love your channel. I've been a fan since around 3-4 years ago. You guys had helped me to become a better person. I came from an unsupportive and neglectful family and was bullied for years when I came across your channel. After those 3-4 years of trying self-love and self-care, even without therapy, I can confidently say that my mental health is soooo much better. I stopped thinking about suicidal thoughts since a year ago! : D I became a person who started looking forward to what the day might bring and started pursuing my childhood dream. Thank you so much, your channel mean a lot to me :>

      I'm so happy for you! I'm struggling a bit as well right now. I am very thankful for having a strong will to live since I have been struggling with thoughts too :( since a year or two ago my ex best friend was struggling and she told me :( which was too much to handle when I was 13. I hope I can also become a better kinder person not only to myself but to others too

    At daycare, I was a bully but I went to a therapist and I became empathic, then this Spring I was starting to lose control of my anger but thanks to you, I can handle my situations now, thank you💙
    And about the number 4, I was depressed and looking at the roof on my bed thinking about my future and I was stressed then because of school, not just subjects but the students. Some bullied, some of my friends didn't even notice I was there and I was walking alone at break time, but then I remembered my meaning of life: Making others happy. So I did this for a week and next week, I was surrounded by my friends and they talked to me and listened to me. Always remember to be yourself, that's what your friends like about you

    Let's see as a 31 year old guy I have made alot of progress within just this last month.Coming out as gay and living my life, becoming less of a misanthrope,stopped with alcohol and pills, finally getting out and meeting people again.I have alot of work to do in my 30s and I have a more clear picture of what I want in life now.The feeling of lost time is something that eats away at me,but I just have to accept it and move on.
    I'm hoping to get a good paying job this year and get my ass to the gym and get in shape.Your videos are so comforting to me I just love hearing your voice and the other people on this channel.

    They used the 4,7,8 Yoga Breathing technique. I use it with my Spider hand push ups to release CTS in my elbow and also tilting my head, straight back while pinching my nose for 90 seconds to clear my sinuses and to relax by breathing better.

    Besides the amazing animations as usual, I actually realise how many of these I've been working on doing everyday. Changing what and when I eat, choosing healthy stuff. Breathing exercises, I've been doing those a lot recently and kept them consistent. Being grateful, I've been journaling and definetly been doing that and I'm proud of myself for that. Forgiving, been working on that one too and taking care of myself💚 I've genuinely learned so many things from these videos that helped me understand things and improve my life in a fantastic way. So thank you Psych2Go for all the effort and I really appreciate all that you do for so many people with these videos💚 *huggies *

    I'm a newer viewer but it's crazy how many of these habits I have embraced in my personal improvement journey. Writing at least one thing I appreciate at the end of each day (even acknowledging bad days) and being complimentary/friendly to strangers has helped a lot.
    Journaling is also great for tracking progress as well. Especially when you are feeling down or not in the best place mentally. I look at my notes from a year ago and can see major improvements in my mental state.
    I truly hope everyone in search of peace finds it because it is a beautiful feeling ❤️

    I think I just needed a reminder of how to love myself. I’m coming back from the shame and dishonorable way I’ve conducted myself in my life. Im trying so hard to repair the shame and disgrace I’ve brought upon my tribe/clan and myself. Some days I find it necessary to embrace my shame , as if my suffering is teaching me but also a penance for my wrongs.

    Yes, i did and i am grateful to this first off!!! It has really helped me find a foundation to knowing how to be a better version of myself and how the change i forced myself into was harsh. And it changed me to something i didnt like. But now, i am learning to forgive and change for my own and for others benefits.

    The breathing exercise sounds the most appealing to me, thank you very much. Inhale for four seconds, hold breath for seven seconds and exhale for eight seconds. Got it. I repeated after the video the first time I watched it.

    i just lost my 2 best friends. they cold cut me, no contact, blocked me on everything one morning without even a word. they did this all while knowing about my severe trauma from the last time someone did that to me when everything was seeming ok. the trouble is that they were long distance friends; so, like… so what if i “change”? the only reason i was trying was for them, but now theyll never be around to see any of that potential change. why should i even bother?
    i know im angry, closed off, realistic and bitter. it protects me, keeps me safe. instead of becoming “better” im determined to become stone cold, because opening up and getting all stupid and emotional towards other people was what set me up for failure in the first place. everyone will break your heart. best way to avoid it? dont let anyone see your heart in the first place. ANYONE.
