Dude this is exactly why I'm thinking about getting a g35x by the end of the month, if not the first week of June. Even stock, they have one of the best sounding v6 engines ever. No wonder some people call these 4 door GTR's. Nice ride man 😎
My 07 G35 3.5HR Auto was just short of 296 RWHP and 270 RWTQ after tuning. K&Ns, HPS intake hoses, DC Sports headers, Z1 cats, custom 2.5" dual exhaust. Added an stillen underdrive pulley. Should be about 300 rwhp now.
Did not want to supercharge because I don't want to manual swap or spend 5 grand for a built auto that might not hold up. The car has enough power to anhilate the tires through 2nd gear as it is.
282 whp on a stock g35 with only a muffler delete is impressive, that's pretty good. Here I was thinking you needed a G37 to get over 300 whp With intakes headers, and an intake manifold you could be easily over 300 whp, if not 320 whp

@Prince Ali Yes tuning is to maximize a map for a certain set of parameters for the most efficient outcome. The result is better combustion for the amount of air your engine can actually move. One way to measure the actual improvement is hp gains under the curve.
