Astro Cluster Cocoon Shrug | Crochet Shrug Cardigan | DIY Beginner Crochet | Astro Cluster Stitch

In this video we are making a crochet shrug using the astro cluster crochet stitch.
I used 260 grams of DK (# 3) weight acrylic yarn and a 5.0mm (US H).
You will also need scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers and a tape measure.
Measurements:
For the width you need to measure yourself from just below one elbow across your back to below your other elbow (no more than 1-2 inches below each elbow)
For the length measure from the base of your neck to just below you bottom (no more than 1-2 inches below your bottom)
For the arm opening measure the circumference of your upper arm by placing the tape measure snug around the widest part of your arm.
My piece measures 38” wide and 28” long
I chained 149, which gave me 147 stitches.
I worked 14 repeats for a total of 57 rows.
