    Chile, I knew I was making this shrug when she started crocheting and saying how many chins are needed from ALL THE DIFFERENT SIZES. Straight to the point, not a lot of mumbo jumbo. Just crocheting the pattern. Thank god. What a relief. Lol you have a new follower in me!!

  • @murphan25

    Thank you for this pattern! I appreciate the fact you provide how many chains are required for different sizes.

    • @namoamita55
      @namoamita55 2 года назад +4

      Provide number of chain is tricky cause all the work depend on the yarn, and how you work loose or......the gauge!
      Better with cm .

I love your tutorial, and I look forward to seeing more. You explain everything so well. I have seen many other tutorials, and I must say yours is by far the best in presentation and explanation. Thank you once again. My continued appreciation as a crocheting hooker. 🥰🪡🧶

      Amanda Guidry go to the tutorial on RUclips and click the link for the free pattern on Annoo’s blog. It takes between 8-11 skeins of wool ease yarn by lion brand. If you can’t use wool like me, go to the website “yarnsubstitutions” and enter wool ease under yarn required. You can then scroll down (once the yarn name appears) and check off the first two items. It will find a ton of suitable-wool free yarns you can use. I used Red Heart Super Saver in my favorite color, Orchid. Let me know if you still need help.

      She's not answering me either & I hope that this isn't too late. But, I watched a crocheted cocoon video the other day. They said to determine your true measurement for a cocoon shrug, you loosely measure from your arm (where you want the sleeve to start - let's say between your elbow & wrist), across your chest to where you want the sleeve to end on your other arm. This should give you your chain amount. But, keep in mind that her pattern is in multiples. So, let's say you measured 50 inches & it took 183 chains to get to 50 inches. If her pattern called for multiples of six, you would have to either add or subtract 3 from your chain count to accommodate her pattern. I sure hope that this helped :)

    Love this pattern it is so easy, but my question is, I made the xlarge. when you layout after you crocheted sides there is no space , like the one you show In The video . So have I done something wrong. Or the larger the size you loose the space in the middle. Thank you again your video was so easy to follow. Judy
