This was a whole lot easier by taking the back off the stove, pushing the light housing part way through, connecting the wires was a snap from behind, THEN pushing the housing all the way in. The way shown on the video got us nowhere for 50 minutes because of how short the wires are. From behind, five minutes. Still, Appliance Parts Pros saved us a bucket load of money. They're our go-to for our twelve year old appliances. We have fixed our washer, dryer, stove several times, dishwasher and refrigerator with their parts and their videos.

If the lightbulb went out do I have to change the whole thing or can I just change the light bulb?
Having trouble getting cover off to replace the bulb. Any suggestions? Can I spray lubricant on it?

@K Ray7 I think I'm gonna try the strap wrench later. That seems to be the solution judging from the comments.
Why did you install new light bulb.
New bulb came with the assembly - no point in putting an old bulb back in with limited life, you'll just be back into the oven replacing it when it goes.
@@jmb3450 Still why didn’t they use a frosted bulb.
Ypu may want to disconnect power first.
