The hippies would all become one fluid, flowing in an lsd, shrooms, weed miagma that goes on til [nonagon] infinity I, myself, would become fluid with them, lmao
I always was sad that I never had the chance to experience the great 70s and 80s bands and artists like Genesis, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush, Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin and so on... But now I found them. They are so young. They'll surely be still around when I finally found a job to be able to visit one of their shows!!!
That was my biggest motivation when first checking these guys out. I needed an iconic great fucking band whose members are not gonna be dead by my late 30s. I certainly was born too late to see most of my idols live. I’m glad these guys exist tbh.
Ben W what the fuck is the point in taking psychedelics if you can't share your experience with people. People go crazy cause they keep all that information bottled up. Your a fucking idiot and obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Don't even reply cause honestly nothing you say will pull you from the pit that is your closed mind
Head On [Verse 1] Just yesterday, I sat across from my legs They weren't connected to me And I couldn't see 'cause my eyes weren't in me Hold me up straight while I screw my head on [Hook] Head on [Verse 2] Just yesterday, I held the cup to my lips Pouring it deep in my throat Filling up me like a black enemy Hold me up straight while I screw my head on [Hook] Head on Head on Head on Pill [Bridge 1] Yep
It's a band name you can't forget from the first time you hear it. I also remember one radio DJ saying it was a pretty lame name, well I think my first comment proves the second one incorrect. Anyways, I love this tune, heard it on RRR radio on the way home a couple of times after a hard days work and it hit the spot like no other tune has in a long time. Hope I get to see them at golden Plains, got to see them live. GREAT!
I have no idea why, but I expect some gnarly Gizz vocals to come in with the lyrics to Norwegian Wood. Everytime, I'm always thrown off as many times as I've obsessively blared this.
Drunk for the first time in my life. This song hits in just the right way. These guys are so fucking talented and I’m gonna be so damn sad when they stop making music. But until then I will voluntarily have them melt my face off with every song, album, and concert they do. I love King Gizz what else can I say?
This is actually the studio version. This has "live clip" in the title since they played the song "live" in the studio, minus the sitar. It would be cool if there were love performances with the sitar. Since Ambrose doesn't play acoustic guitar on the track nowadays, maybe he could do the sitar instead?
If this were played in Woodstock ‘69 it would’ve been absolutely crazy

true dat, then it becomes more of the "train" you ride on

Stu IS the lizard king of our generation.
he can play anything.
this will be the future songs for each of our kids (stoner parents) as we definitely grown attached to this song
Cranked this mid mescaline trip last week, it is now forever immortalized in my brain along with many other psychedelic marvels. Truly sensational
+Ben W care to elaborate?
Ben W Well you obviously care, thats two comments now. The comments negate the claim of not giving a fuck you see. Simpleton
Ben W you look like a fucking idiot. Stop saying things.

You realize that the lyrics to the song you are commenting on the video of is the narration of a drug experience, right?

I just realized Lucas is wearing a Oh Sees shirt 3:38
can you imagine if Gizz and Ohsees ever shared the stage together...that would be a sonic blast that brings the tyrants to their knees

My favorite band! I haven't heard this song on the radio in the U.S. :(

The Coliseo theater in Santiago still vibes!! Mucho amor desde Santiago de Chile !!
This song is like ASMR for my soul, gives me shivers down my spine

They have 17 more albums now wake up come here
Also, Nirvana really rule
If I had known about King Gizz in 2013, odds are I could've been there with my veena playing for FAFYL.
This is a classic now.

Whew. These guys are divinely inspired.
Please tell Eric to press more records!! Float along is on top of my wish-list

NEW PSYCHEDELLIC ALBUM INCOMMING, June 11 mate , I can't wait.
oof, how did you feel when butterfly came out?
This is the best thing they ever did (or will do?). Seeing it live in a tiny bar in Cleveland with about 80 people was mind-blowing!
happy dog ?
3 years later and now we have The Dripping Tap, Head On/Pill has finally been dethroned
Sorry you peaked there but Gizz has not
you’re wrong. dripping tap is very good but head on is much classier and timeless
I would say Iron Lung takes first place but Head On Pill will forever be a masterpiece sonically and visually
just realized Ambie is on guitars here
Heard this on Triple R this morning. Absolute gold!!
This will always be one of my favorites. You guys kick croc!
lots of love from India!!
you guys are simply the best.

Great stuff...come to Canada!
Hope you saw them last year in Canada
This is insane!
Psicodelia com alma e originalidade
There's something so fundamentally different about King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, like they're from an alternate timeline or something.
I love this so so much.
Thank you for your music guys, for real. It makes me happy. Go on and do your best! :)
legend tune blokes!
Could totally see a caccus geelong edit to this with mad scenic shots and local geelong punks.

Do I need 3D glasses to view this video
Cellophane specifically
Has he used the sitar in another song besides this?
I don't think so, maybe during some live set but probably not on an album. It would be really nice to hear some more sitar though
Sitar is used across a lot of Float Along Fill Your Lungs (the album this is from), particularly tracks like 30 past 7 and the title track
Good bit of Sitar on LW!
There is a lot going on in Float Along album, besides this one (30 Past 7, I'm Not a Man Unless I Have a Woman....)
Судя по звуку, парни знают толк в кислоте))
I fucking love this
on acid rn, i fuckin love this band.
The irony is you're such a try hard fucking hipster man
Cool photo Ben
yeah cool, shut up
Jeeez, for a guy who drops acid, you are rather aggressive.
If I ever hear this live I will die
