I am honestly shocked that I haven't seen any comments mentioning how genius the animation is! Specifically, how the video is broken into four main parts that each reference one of the four cover motifs. Jason Galea is on another level.
Even better, there is also parts showing the crumbling castle and "third eye" which you can hear of in Tetrachromacy. There are LOTS of references to later works of their songs. I am in love with this band.
My son loves crocodiles since he was under 2 years old, and this is his favourite video of all time. He still gets so excited when they come along on the two different parts of the video. Just perfect.
As much as the king gizz sound progresses I think this is some of their finest work. The middle section always puts me in a trance even when I’m dead sober

You’re not wrong, they’re fucking modern rock legends in the making. This is like being a boomer, and growing up watching The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath etc etc etc blow up in their eras and being able to say you were there. A few days ago I took an acid trip and while I was listening to this song and the whole Quarters album I watched animations on my skin which looked exactly like this. They would flow in the same speed, and they would never stop, they just kept transforming into new shapes constantly. I didn't even remember much about this video, so I wasn't influenced by it at all. I'm amazed at how well Jason Galea represented what goes on in your vision while tripping.
