I feel like that could be said about a lot of the early stuff, there are a lot of great songs that just don't get talked about. I guess when you crank out as much killer music as they do, you're bound to lose some in the shuffle
@@ospreyotis6241 think it’s something from old vhs tapes he had. From what I’ve read. He just took the old movie or tv footage and added effects to make it look a bit more distorted and fit a mindset of someone dreaming before waking up to the alarm for work and sort of losing grip of reality from the 9-5 grind.
Anyone know what movies/TV shows are used in this? Figured out that some shots are from Care Bears but I’m looking for the guys in suits, mechanical guys, prop fly through, death scene, etc. Edit: After months of work, I have finally figured it out. A majority of the shots come from a tape called Science Fiction Trilogy, which is comprised of three short films: Teach 109 (wheelchair, curly hair guy), The Price of Life (kid entering house) and The Ivory Tower (elevator/fighting coworker). The animated segments come from The Care Bears Movie while the sci-fi soldiers, explosion and space ship are from Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future.

Anyone ever thought of this song as a kind of hit of irony? I always saw this song as being in a indie film at the last scene that has a twist. Like one of the main characters that seemed happy the whole movie winds up being found an a motel dead. Either laying there on the bed with a syringe in her arm overdosed or on a noose in the closet. This is honestly what I think of when I always listen to this song. Then the camera gets further and further away slower showing the bestfriend holding her in her arms rocking back and forth and sheer disbelief with tears running down her cheeks saying over and over to wake up or something. The girl who died before hand asked the friend to get her a coffee in a genuine way or something, she comes back letting the now dead girl know she's back only to see the scenery, and all of that I said before happens. This song would just be perfect for a scene like that.
Highly underrated song.
Should be appreciated more

i wish i could live in this song
This song is pure magic
Crazy to see how far jason with his visuals have come
i know right? it’s also crazy how consistent he’s been though, like this old stuff is unsettling as hell and fits their old vibe so well
Is this an edit of a movie? Or all jason?
You mean CGI Amby right?
Well I mean you can look at hot wax and then look at fishing for fishies and see that his work has actually regressed.

This is such a beautiful song. Hope to hear them play it live one day!
I know they have more complex songs in the catalog, but in my opinion, this is definitely one of their best.

Play this at my funeral.
bloody amazing, melts your mind.
Three records in a year and it's all gold. It's a bit spendy to import your records to the US but it's so fucking worth it.
What did you think about the five records they put out in 2017?
We're getting 3 records in the month of October alone now

@NicodemiusX Well it is open to interpretation, many possibilities, that's what music is all about, to decide for yourself, not from someone else.
God I love this song

I’m grumpy in the morning
you know that when I’m yawning, it’s true.
And I’ll be snappy towards you.
This video reminds me of Garth Marenghi's Dark Place, the music reminds me of snorkelling on acid.
perfect way to describe it

I watched this video on sativa. Crazy fucking shit man
Fuck yes, flightless doesn’t post a single bad song
