    There is this well-known guy from the LD community (no names), who advices NOT to journal dreams in every and each detail, but rather, jot down about YOU in the dream, who you are/were in the dream, i.e. an active character, a passive one, a point of awareness, yourself, yourself but different in some aspect and so far. He claims the LD journal or dream journal is about that, instead of about the plots themselves. Who knows… the LD community is full of controversy. Talk is free anyways.

      I never gave up jotting down the dream plots themselves, be it surreal or ordinary... BUT, I started to ADD the personal status to each plot: observer, active player, floating observer, morphed body, normal body but different hair, and so on...

    "If you want more interesting dreams, you have to consume more interesting content (bro)."
    This is spot on.
    If you are living a shit life, your dreams will be pretty shit. I suspect this is one of the key stumbling blocks for many. In my own experiences, activity proceeds lucidity. Fill your day with experiences that your dreamworld can then draw on.
    Those looking to escape a boring life with lucid dreaming will stumble. You have to find something to engage yourself, otherwise ...
    You'll just stay unconscious. Not only throughout the day, but into the night.

    A sleep cycle is approximately 90-120 minutes long and it includes 1 REM stage. So , in 3 hours of sleep you might have 2 dreams if you’re lucky. I would love to check out the study that states you can have 5 dreams in 2-3 hours of sleep .
    Another important point is the dream journaling take. Writing down the dreams is so much better than using a phone/computer for a multitude of reasons.
    “Handwriting forces your brain to mentally engage with the information. On the other hand, typing encourages verbatim notes without giving much thought to the information.”
    Just thought you should know!

    Dream journaling is a must for me every morning because I'll look back at some of those old dreams and be like "damn wtf that wack af" 🤣 also dream incubation is super cool! I do that a lot too It's like repetition throughout the day and journaling down the dream you want to have so that it forces your brain to dream it. Also Tiger I was gonna ask what your opinion was on the new "prophetic lucid dreaming device" that Elon musk helped develop? If You haven't heard of it it's basically a band you wear around your head that uses EG's to track your REM then stimulates your pre frontal cortex to make you conscious while dreaming. I thought it was interesting so I wanted to know what other lucid dreamers thought about it.

    • @TIGERTIGER123TIGER
      @TIGERTIGER123TIGER  5 месяцев назад +6

      fr these dreams are entertaining to look back on, I'll look more into dream incubation because you got me curious now lol.
      About prophetic device, I've looked into it a bit. Elon Musk didn't help develop it, but the company that helped design the neuralink device created their prototype (related ig).
      So far they've not induced a single lucid dream, their research is basically all hypothesis which (has) helped get some funding. It's good to note that their ceo's last two ventures were at - an venture capital firm focusing on psychedelics, and a city that was supposed to run on a crypto economy, take that how you will.
      Would be super interesting if they can pull it off, but not too sure.

    How do I immerse myself in dreams properly? For example I had a dream yesterday where it felt like I was kind of looking at the dream from not my perspective but someone else’s (it’s kinda hard to describe) . It’s really quite annoying as I want to be fully immersed in the dream

    • @TIGERTIGER123TIGER
      @TIGERTIGER123TIGER  5 месяцев назад +5

      if you're talking about normal dreams, the more DETAIL you dream journal and zone in on will make you dreams more vivid. It could also depend on what content you're consuming (maybe lots of third person games lol? it happens).
      If lucid dreams, you just need to engage with the dream, focus on it, touch things and talk if it helps, but do anything to immerse yourself in it.

    since i've started dream journaling, i've noticed a very large amount of my dreams are school related in some way, and are also slightly nightmarish in some way lol. its even weirder considering i haven't been in school for months at this point. also, semi related question, how long do you think it'll approximately take to start remembering pages worth of dreams? i've been journaling for nearly a month now, and can generally remember a paragraph or two's worth of information about a dream, and usually 2 or 3 of them.

    • @TIGERTIGER123TIGER
      @TIGERTIGER123TIGER  5 месяцев назад +3

      not sure whats up with the school things, seems to be a common thing with people including me, a shit ton of school dreams. I guess because we've spent so much of our lives in there unfortunately.
      Your dream recall will rapidly improve when you start focusing a SHIT TON on it. If you want pages, im talking zone in on all the details, the clothes, the buildings, people descriptions. go crazy with it (if you want), and you'll just remember more and more.
      This can get tiring after a while lmao, so I dont tryhard it as much now.

    Have a question, dont know wheter these are lucid dreams, when i wake up and fall asleep I tell myself I'am dreaming and the last time it worked, I found myself in a room did a reality check and can move around and could summoned/imagined someone but shortly afterwards i think my lucidy or i dont know vanished and the dream ended. It happend the last few times, I become ,,lucid´´ for like second and then the dream continues without my control like a normal dream

      ah, if you knew you were dreaming while in the dream you were lucid so good job. Sounds like you're becoming lucid but your "awareness" is low and so you are losing lucidity.
