There's actually two instances of this "sense control" in other communities. Improving visualization and developing "prophantasia" (seeing imagined things with your eyes) is a part of communities that attempt to cure aphantasia (the inability to visualize).
Then there's what's called "imposition" in the Tulpa community. This is definitely a real thing and I've met people who have had success from these methods.

Remember everyone: this is a CHOICE. And requires a lot of consciousness.
There is a concept in eastern spirituality called "maha samadhi" which means an spiritual awakening experience that the person having it can choose to physically die and move on from life in that very high state. This is very hard to do and there are also sufi masters who also have "died intentionally" within deep prayer. This never happens "by accident" and its always intentionally planned.

@@TIGERTIGER123TIGERsomething thatll give u trouble if u think to deep is the very concept of reality. everything is based on a few properties, or axioms that we simply accept without question. things like:
      things are real
      not all things are real
      things we experience are real
      the universe is everything
      the universe exists
      "real" things exist
      time moves forward
none of these axioms have any truthful basis. and they dont need one, because they cant have one. you cant rlly explain why that cat is real but your imagination of the cat hitting the griddy isnt. all you can say is "well the cat is here in the physical world but the cat hitting the griddy only happened within my imagination." if u think to deep you just start questioning reality.
and, if u believe in the big bang, then sm you prolly ask is "what happened before the big bang?" why did nothing suddenly turn into something? why did time not exist, then suddenly pop into existence? all this is just philosophy at this point, more specifically metaphysics. nothing can explain it
and, to get more personal: what is "consciousness?" why is life conscious? to us all we cwn understand is that our brain does weird electric things and it apparently makes conscious life. but that doesnt make sense, why does THAT make us conscious? what makes a person someone? nobody has ever trully figured out what a consciousness is, how it works, and how to make it. all people know is that consciousness fundamentally exists, its like one of the axioms i mentioned. we know what consciousness does, and what its different parts are, but we dont know how it exists or why.
if ur ever bored just think abt it. reality makes no sense. nothing does. God bless

Miles reminds me of this character from famous manga artist, Junji Ito's "Long Dream". In the manga, Mukoda, seems to have longer and longer dreams every night. He tells his doctor that he feels as if a long time is passing away in his dream and is very paranoid about it. It eventually leads to a point where one night he is in the dream infinitely. You can check out the manga, "Nagai Yume" or watch a 20 min episode from "Junji Ito Collection". Love your vids!

Yeah so the drug hes talking about is called "seroquel" or "Quetiapine" and its actually an antipsychotic LMAO It does make you sleep for a long time and can make you have extremely vivid dreams. There was this one guy I had seen saying he built lives in his lucid dreams while on that drug and when he woke he was legit looking for people from the dream to tell them it was only a dream but he couldn't since they were the dream. Ive actually played around with time in my lucid dreams since I was obsessed with Inception (Still am💀) the longest I could stay in a dream or how long I could make the dream feel was like 3 days. I honestly don't recommend it because when you wake up you can still feel like youre dreaming and it can alter your perception. as far as leaving consciousness in your body to operate that is a thing I know a bit about but to much to put here lol.

I’m someone that has lucid dreamed nearly every single night for about a decade. I remember having several lucid dreams when I was much younger and it had interested me, so I looked up a simple way to lucid dream and it worked… worked far too well, I must say. It was like opening Pandora’s box and I haven’t been able to close it shut. Most of my dreams are nightmarish in nature, so the moment I become aware, I want to get out of that dream as soon as possible. The scariest part of lucid dreaming is when I’m desperately trying to get out and I simply cannot. Even if it’s not a nightmare and it’s just kind of chaotic.. I know I’m asleep and I don’t wanna be there any longer. I will begin to manifest things to try to wake myself up, to try and jar myself awake. Like, creating bottomless pits or never-ending staircases to throw myself down or I will suddenly be on top of a skyscraper that I manifested to throw myself off of or I’ll just begin throwing myself into walls and just screaming at the people around me that this is a dream and I need to wake up. It seems like this goes on and on and on for an hour or so or more sometimes. I’ll wake up with my heart beating out of my chest, and most of the time when I finally do get myself awake I’m stuck in sleep paralysis.. because when you dream, your brain makes sure you don’t act them out and because I’m waking myself up prematurely, I can’t move, which makes it all the more frightening and uncomfortable. Often times, because I woke myself up prematurely, I will slip back in over and over and over - I’ll wake up in sleep paralysis, start to be able to move, drift back off, wake back up in sleep paralysis, start to come out of it, drift back off and this will happen sometimes 10 to 20 times before I finally force myself to sit up in bed and kind of shake it off and get my awakened state more engaged. I sometimes have what I hope to be hallucinations when this occurs... I will hear people talking, people walking around upstairs, I will feel the presence of people all around me. These lucid dreams are also so incredibly visceral as well.. I’ve had dreams that have caused me to come close to vomiting (one time I actually did vomit) because of a certain taste or smell I experienced in the dream. Many of them have caused me to weep uncontrollably because of how vivid and visceral it was. I’ve died in several dreams. One of the times that I died, it was a car accident, after the impact, everything went black, and it was kind of like when you’re underwater and you’re holding your eyes shut and you have no idea which way is up or down. Maybe you’ve been playing in the ocean and you get caught in a little tide and thrown around a bit and you just ball up and wait it out until you can get your bearings and stand up at the shore. After floating around in this darkness with no sense of self or any sense of direction and just drifting in the darkness, I came to as a spirit in my dream. I won’t go into what I witnessed as a spirit as it’s an unnecessarily long addition to this comment that’s already very long, but I can say that you don’t always wake up when you die in a dream. The very first time I remember dying in a dream was when I was about 12-13 YO - I was picked up by this giant human monster. Like, as tall as a 15 story building. …As he was walking with me with me in his hand, he dropped me mid stride, which caused me to land on his upper knee/thigh area as it was in motion to take his next step. I remember feeling the brutal impact and having that darkness surround me for a moment and then eventually waking up into sleep paralysis. No spirit form was taken in that dream. I desperately want and need to do a sleep study because this has been plaguing me for so long and truly has become like a disease in my life that impacts me in almost always a negative way. Nightmares and dreams can really set the tone for ones day, as many of you have probably experienced. Like when you wake up from a bad nightmare, it tends to leave you in a melancholy and surrealistic state for several hours. On the other hand, if you have a really beautiful dream, which, I can only recall one of in the last decade… and even though it was lucid, it was the most content and at peace I have felt in so many years that it brought tears of joy and gave me a very peaceful sense of self throughout the day. It was as if my mind did me a favor. like it knew how badly I needed it. On another note, I have also dreamed things that I later on believed to have really happened in real life. I have unknowingly given false information that I believed to be true, when in actuality, I had merely dreamt it.
I just feel really alone, in large part because of this lucid dreaming, night terrors, and sleep paralysis that I regularly, if not always experience, night after night… someone please help me…. I can’t and I desperately don’t want to take this any longer…

    • @jaceygardenwray3413
      @jaceygardenwray3413 18 дней назад +1

What I really meant to also say in there.. was that I do have a fear of not waking up. Like going into some irreversible catatonic dream state.

    • @jaceygardenwray3413
      @jaceygardenwray3413 18 дней назад +1

I’m also going to add that in the very beginning I was mildly addicted to it. I started becoming very excited for sleep and what new adventure I would be taken on and be aware of during it. It was like real life had become the dream and my dreamworld became where I wanted to be. Far… very far from the case now.

I like hearing stories like this. It is interesting wondering how far the possibilities really extend when it comes to lucid dreaming. Personally, I know for a fact that spending 3+ perceived days in one night's dream is possible. Almost everyone on the lucid dreaming subreddit gets super angry and shuts people up when they share any perspective that even slightly steps out of line with the "norm". One learns more when they experiment with the unknown rather than dismissing every little thing that doesn't line up with their pre-conditioned beliefs. Like, one of the popular excuses for time dilation is, "You just did lots of things in the dream really fast so your hour long dream seemed like days." Bruh, 3 days is 3 days, there's no mistaking that when you have any cognitive level of lucidity. 😅 The most ironic thing about the lucid dreaming community, of all communities, is the mindset of, "I don't want to believe you, so you are clearly lying." Ironic because of the limitless nature of lucid dreaming.
(It's been a few years since I've been active on the Lucid Dreaming subreddit. Idk if it's still the same, but probably is if the mods are the same. I just avoid the subreddit now days.)

crazy story. i imagine he was schizophrenic or bipolar, judging by the things he said. as for the weird stuff he described, (time dilation, hallucinations, etc) since lucid dreamers are already so few as is, we don't really know how certain mental illnesses might affect lucid dreaming. maybe being schizophrenic causes lucid dreams to seem even more real than normal, or maybe they cause extreme time dilation, or something. it could also change their hallucinations, so maybe it allows them to control their hallucinations, or something? kinda hard to tell, especially since i don't really know much about schizophrenia lol. also for that last part, i'm guessing he tried to intentionally OD on sleeping pills, especially since he already mentioned taking them previously. like he said, he was probably trying to intentionally go into a coma.

Dude im not even kidding the first guy seems to have some kinda shifting experience
(The idea that basically your consciousness is spread around the multiverse but right now u are looking at the part of it ur experiencing now (your awareness) so think of it as a cloth (ur consciousness) spot A on the cloth (the reality ur in rn) and spot B (another spot on the cloth a.k.a another reality)
Apparently u can choose what part of this cloth ur aware of (metiphor) and become aware of any version of u in the multiverse .
Ik sounds crazy purely hypothetical here just hear me out.
With shifting realities thers a term called Permashifting and Respawning.
So its NOT a dream and just like the experience u have here. Therefor u can spend months or years there how even long u like really.
Permashifting is going to another reality for a prolonged time but its still be intended as a shift.
Respawning is choosing a new default reality. (Back to the cloth: u like spot B more than spot A so its like going in settings and choosing B as ur default reality like this one is)
Without any intention of coming back. Now cause you exist beyond this body they say that people around u wouldn't even notice u respawned cause u get replace with a "clone" (ik sounds scary but hear me out)
If theyre are infinite realities, theyre are infinite versions of u. A clone is an awareness exactly like u that is aware at spot A while u piss off in another reality at spot B.
Now because this is an actual reality theyre are some things to keep in mind.
    - unlike a dream u cant just go on a killing spree like theyre actual ppl in that reality unlike ur dream which is really just u and ur subconscious.
    - unless u script that u can fly u cant just open ur eyes jump out a window and control everything at ur whim (again its an actual reality)
    - some use lucid dreaming to get to know themselfs and this bodys traumas, blockages and shadows. Thats not something u can as accurately explore when shifting.
Ik this is a lot but wanted to share. Any questions I'll gladly answer. Take care!

I was "lucid dreaming" since 90's...when we didn't even know that it's a thing.
And i wouldn't recommend anyone to do it, coz I think that i have problem with sleeping coz of it!!!
I was born in '84 and I have those dreams as a kid, someone is attacking me or my family and I just couldn't run from it or punch it hard, stuff like that..
And one night I just started controlling my dreams and, oh boy, how much fun was that...I could do anything, go anywhere in the universe.
I could be a superman and god, everything...but most amusing thing was that stuff I didn't see in my real life but I did see or use them in my dreams was exactly like in real life when I see them later in life?!!?!
But I think that, coz of all that "lucid dreaming" my brain didn't get enough sleep at night :(
I wasn't the same since lucid dreaming, that is a fact!!!
P.s. When i stopped lucid dreaming coz of thinking it's bad for brain, I have started to see "deja vu" in real life almost all the time?!?
I know what was gonna happened and what people gonna do and say before it happens in real :O
Didn't talk too much about that with people, so if anyone had\have the same experience, leave a message!

My imagination can sort of overlay what i want to see into real life. Its very fuzzy but does the job for imaginitive scenarios as long as i dont focus too closely on the object. Its better for moving objects or creatures as you dont have to try to visualise one thing in one place all the time. Well we definitely have the ability to see things which dont consciously seem there and even to hear things which may or may not be real in terms of usual perceiving.
E.g. I was in a stage of my life years ago, I had a friend who I took acid with.
A little while after he stepped out of the room (room was concrete and brick).
Tag graffiti started popping up all over the walls and the whole room started getting a bad vibe.
I quickly went after my friend and when I came back I was fine and everything was normal again.
But its interesting to think as to how we could potentially harness and master that state that can create things like that.
I wouldnt even know how to practise that though.
Funnily enough a paranoia that stopped me from wanting to lucid dream for a long time was the fear of never waking up.
It's interesting that someone would want to do that on purpose.
But then again this Linus guy sounds like he wasn't very happy with his reality.

I don't particularly buy the idea of the actual sensory manipulation in real life, but honestly the idea of time dilation within a dream seems plausible to me since humans kind of experience time individually, and you could change that within a dream maybe. I doubt it would influence the amount of time you are actually in a dream in reality though, just the amount of time you experience within the dream.

    • @Userizekai123

Reality shifting is all fake. Like 100% of it. The people that claim that there is science behind it like many world interpretation, quantum entanglement and so on those are all fake too since they have not been proven yet.
Edit: I will explain what the science behind them are
      1. Many world interpretation
Well this is not complicated. It just means every action you do there's an alternate version of you that took the other choice. So technically any reality is possible. But a major flaw with this idea is because the laws of science do not allow most of fictional worlds to exist let alone transmit your consciousness
      2. Quantum Entanglement
Imagine two point in totally different universe. Like those points are quadrillions of light year apart. Now let's also imagine both are exact opposite of others. So if one is positive other is negative. So if I were to turn the point into negative the other would become positive instantly. Basically this explains how consciousness shifting works but again there is major flaw. The laws of science don't allow consciousness to be travelled form one body to another

You are actually god of this dreamworld and you created it when you were lucid but you don't remember because as you encarnated across manny different lives you became less and less lucid and more mentally exahsteted. You created the pyramids when you where lucid and new this was a dream, but you have forgotten its a dream and the dream now controls you, and if you believe in there lizard people that David like talks of, perhaps the dream is now attempting to control and confine your consciousness manifesting through various dream entities. And what if all these conscious people on this planet are all conscious through fractals of your own consciousness and in order to wake up out of this dream you need to wake up your fractaled consciousness too.

Dude I discovered something quite amazing, you should try it. I fell asleep 21:00 woke up 01:50-02:10(don't remember exactly when I woke up but that's the estimate) then I attempted wild but found it difficult and fell asleep normally after this I had multiple(4) false awakenings(great oppurtunities for lucid dreaming) and I didn't know I was dreaming because I couldn't reality check because my hands were stuck under my blanket all four times. So I've taught myself how to reality check by holding my breath and attempting to breath out of my mouth. I think this could be a method because usually wild and wbtb combined can produce false awakenings quite often and you can teach yourself to do a reality check everytime you wake up. Since I didn't know about the rc that didn't require my hands I couldn't try it but I will again soon. I hope this works and idk if there is science behind this but ig it's kind of a dild. What are your thoughts?

You spent all this time reading his comments and making up opinions about it all and make a 14-minute video about it but you never once realized that he simply did what's called reality shifting? I can see you're new to the powers of the mind. You think it's just some kind of primitive organ that tells you when to eat and when to sleep? Like you're an animal? So you don't understand consciousness? You think things like imagination, creativity, abstract thinking, etc. are products of evolution, but for some reason these developed only in a single species, yet it never developed in dinosaurs (that had larger brains than us) in hundreds of millions of years? So you literally use your brain like an animal and live like an animal? Cool.

@@TIGERTIGER123TIGER Okay, so now you choose to top your ignorance by showing off that you have zero clue what "reality" is. Or how it works. Because if you had any inkling you would never use the term "fantasy world". Oh, I get it, you're one of those people that think that the universe "exploded" from nothing into something for no reason, and it just happened to organize itself into galaxies and solar systems, and life was an accident, and consciousness is some kind of freak by-product. Because that makes so much sense, doesn't it? Or because some self-proclaimed authorities on human intelligence said so and you bought it all? Nice going, bro.
And when someone tells you that consciousness has primacy over mind and matter you laugh. You are literally fantasizing your life into existence (like everyone else), EXCEPT you are doing it unconsciously. Not very smart, bro. Because doing it consciously is, what? Hard?
Okay, so let me get this straight. So you lack any basic understanding of what the universe is or how it works. You have zero clue what consciousness is and how it works. You lack the ability to control YOUR OWN MIND! And by extension your dreams - and basically your own life, GEEEZUSSS! Your life must be a mess! And then you read about some RANDOM GUY who has achieved slightly more control over his mind than you ever managed to (because he understands how to voluntarily activate certain neurotransmitters that naturally occur in your brain while you are ignorantly relying on a single one [serotonin] for your perception of reality for no good reason), and you decide to make a video on youtube about him, and tell the world how he must be lying? :D :D :D Wow, you're the man!
Yeah, love you too, you crack me up bro!

Nahh man, even comparing your mind to that of any animal is an insult to all animals (I mean any, from a fly to human), just wait until you hear that dinosaurs didn't have larger brains than humans 😂

@@CherriorGMD "A recent paper published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology estimated the T. rex brain to have weighed around 350 grammes, and endowed this predator with considerable intelligence, putting the “King of the Tyrant Lizards” on a par with extant monkeys."
That's all fine and dandy but, tell me, why is it that the largest mammal on the planet 65 million years ago was the size of a chicken, and in 65 million years that evolved into a human and developed consciousness, yet dinosaurs remained the same for over 150 million years without any change in brain size? Was natural selection on pause for a few hundred million years?
