- The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-89 in Game 1 of The Finals to take a 1-0 series lead. Shaun Livingston led the Warriors with a postseason career-high 20 points as Draymond Green added 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers with 26 points while LeBron James added 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists in the losing effort.

Cavs turned into the team they was last year, every possession was so slow and predictable, no fluidity in what they was doing, In the 3rd they got it down to 4 points, Bron comes out and Kyrie tries to do it all. What worries me is that Curry and Klay didnt get off, we got beat by role players at best, this game was there for the taking you wont see Klay and Curry play so bad again this series.

This is not really surprising. The Warriors just came off of a brutal 7 game series against an elite team with 2 of the top 5 players in the world. They have been tested defensively and mentally. The Cavs have not. If the Cavs can't figure out how to take game 2, this series will probably be over in 5.
Hopefully the Cavs realize that they need to change up their play style for the Warriors,defensively and offensively. It's going to be interesting to see what they do in game 2.
