I just picked up my new Dragonfly 10. I love your videos and can't wait to go out , unfortunately it has been to rough to go out. So today I can just set up my board for fishing. Thanks for all the fantastic ideas.
+JLC JLC You can get by with less on your board, if you go with others that have a fishfinder, fish bag and or bait well on a kayak or paddle board. Hope you make a trip out some day.
Do you have any mounts added that are not built into the board? Looked like maybe some leash plug mount brackets? Also curious how your Raymarine setup is mounted? I just bought a used 12’ 6” Riviera Voyager and looking to outfit for fishing the IRL and Fellesmere. Only have leash plugs at the front and back. May need other mounting options, I.e. glue on, suction, etc.
All my mounts are built into the board when it was made. The Raymarine is mounted on a Scotty scotty.com/product/455-bait-board-accessory-tray/, that I have mounted to my hatch to the inside of the board. I am not sure how you would set up your board, but I am sure you will find something on RUclips.
How did you install your track system on your board? I’ve got a boteHD SUP and need a track to install mounts and rod holders but I worry about the strength of the fiberglass. Did yours come preinstalled?
There is a bolt that goes threw the cooler into the board. You can take the bolt out and the cooler off. It is made that way by Dragonfly Paddle Board.
I would rather stand than sit. I see so much more as I paddle and for me it is a lot more comfortable fishing and paddling. It is not for everyone, but for me it is the way to go.
I’d rather fish off a 110’ crew boat with a cook, some one to pilot the boat for me and make $1400. A day while doing it. If I do t catch a fish; take one from the freezer. I can easily put tape on the deck outlining the shape of your board and just stay there all day, in the sun, sitting on a cooler....😳. NOT. You can’t even take a frickin nap. Damn😳. The more I look into kayaks, paddle boards, canoes the less I’m impressed.
I u Had a canoe once and use to fill it with water, lay down in the canoe with my fishing pole and a few beers and wonder where in the lake I’ll be when I wake up. Now; that’s fishing. Sometimes I used bait.
Awesome set up
Thank you.

The scute is a great idea , you should take a couple tyraps so you can install the flare on your paddle for extra hiught
Just getting into paddle board fishing great to see all the essentials like the rod holders, great vid

I had the tracks installed when I had the board built, with extra fiberglass to hold it in.
Don't leave in rod holders if fishing. Something big grabs it you can easily flip over
Yes it could.
How do you make the coolers stay

Why a paddle board instead of a Kayak? I love kayak fishing, can stand up or sit down, just don't understand the standing or keening all day

How much does a board like this cost?
+NickyTV The base cost on a Dragonfly 13.6 is $1900. The way I have mine rigged is will run a little over $3000.
Don't know if 4× the amount of beer would fit
Hi Pete, what size is your Ice Mule?
I am using the Pro Catch Medium 32" cooler.
You need an out board
At time it would have been nice to have.
