Thanks for making this video. 3 years ago I watched it and started trolling from my isup. Since then I’ve caught big rainbow trout, large and smallmouth bass, chain pickerel and perch here in the Finger Lakes of NY. I owe you a pint!
Never fished in my life, but this is fascinating stuff. Have gone back and watched part 1, top marks for explaining things in layman terms to an absolute beginner! More ways to enjoy SUP!
Awesome video mate! I’m not sure your board scares the fish though they are inquisitive of the surface disturbance don’t you think. Why they put teasers out for game fish Might be different for bass maybe Anyway just got my first board and loving your videos really getting me excited about the whole thing! Thanks mate!
Good point! You could be right. Im starting to think it about what frame of mode they are in. If there are a few of them together in full on hunting mode I don't think they care... But the big fish on there own are much more cautious. Good luck Reuben
Hello, very nice video! Do you think it would be ok to use it for fishing in the ocean? I have a all around Zray x2 (10'10"x30"x6"), so I'd like to try it in the Chilean Pacific coast. Any recommendation?
Yes go for it. But with all isups I stay fairly close to shore. But there is no reason why that board wouldn't work to get out fishing. You might want a bigger board in the future but it will get you out. Thanks Reuben
Hey Marko , I use a load of different rods but the one I use all the time for trolling is a short 4'3 kayak rod. Rovex Integra Gold Kayak Rod. Reel, is a small fixed spool. But bait casters work well too. Hope that helps Reuben
Hey Dave, You can attach with the cargo points on your board if you have any. Or I used to run a strap from the cool box right under the board to the other side. Its not the most hydrodynamic but works ok. Thanks for the sub , Reuben
Thats the ugly side of fishing. It's not nice for sure. I have switched all my lures to single hooks and got rid of many of my barbs on my hooks which helps. But apart from this video . I don't usually target fish Im not going to eat. Thanks for your comment. All the best Reuben

brilliant vid, thinking of buying a Aqua marina drift for some fishing around shoreham by sea .
It's not a fast board, but for putting equipment on it really is perfect. And it's not too heavy either. Thanks Reuben
Great vid, gonna five SUP fishing ago in Cornwall soon.
Summer is a great time to get out there and give it a go.
flippflopps I’m also gonna try it in Cornwall soon. But Cornwall, NY USA...I suspect you’re in Cornwall UK? Cheers!

Nice little hack how you put the rod in your shorts :D
😀
What rod and reel are using this by the way great videos

SUPboarder cheers 👌
How do you actually attach your storage box securely to the board great vid again mate just subscribed

do you use chair or tool to seat?
A cooler or cool box is always the best for a seat I find. Thanks Reuben
Hi what is the storage box your using?
I vary it from a cooler box or a 55L sealable drum. You really can use anything as long as it's tide on. Thanks Reuben
As the first comment I pretend to receive a free board
Bad enough they get a treble in the gob and then they have you trolling them

Take a look at my summer staycation video ruclips.net/video/smv2dr1mnpo/видео.html #paddlebaords #beaches 🎉
Very cool! Thanks for sharing
Hi what strength line do you have on the rod?
I use 20-30lb braid line. That's fine for most fish. Thanks Reuben
