I'm almost positive that all these cheap sprayers are made by the same Chinese company and they slap different names on them. They have the exact same molded case, parts, etc. I have a Buendio and it actually works rather well for general use... mostly for priming and anything that does not need a super high-quality final coat. Mine tends to get rather hot in extended use and I assume the "motor" will burn out at some point. For
The molds are not cheap to build and if you ever looked at say any plastics food, containers you will also find that the molds are exactly the same. Take a Kraft Foods plastics Kool Whip Bowl and a Walmart, General-Foods container same thing. Cool Whip canadian 1 liter bowl, same shit as a 120z American. Probably came off the same molding machine on the same day. That there is some pretty useless information for you.
It didnt use much paint to paint that area so still had probably just under half the paint left in the pot after painting it twice. You can see roughly how long it too to paint in the video, alot faster than rolling and brushing and a nice smooth finish
Used ours twice for spring deck stain. Worked great until we tried to use it a third time. Clean as a whistle but just blows hot air . replaced the suction cup and all tubes are clean.
Liked the video!! Very informative but is it necessary to add water to water base paint I always use . Just bought the sprayer and getting ready to use it. Was just going to pour the paint straight from the can and go from there. Please advise!!
Great video! Was thinking about using one of these for painting dark mahogany stained doors and door frames white. Currently using brushes and Bin Zinser oil based followed by a couple of finish coats. What do you think?
Is the pipe that goes in the pot connected to the gun? Is the trigger wheel wound all the way so you can pull the trigger all the way back? Have you checked the front end it all screwer in properly and the needle is in correctly?
Hi is there any way this would work with Zinder aqua bin? It says in their guide 5/8% dilution. But the woman on the phone said not to dilute at all as it would stop the odour blocker working? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you
hey, ye you could get it to spray. i dilute with my other hvlp unit. are you usin it to block odour? some of the spec sheets on other paints have said to spray with massive tips for airless which just isnt feasible. you can also warm the paint up which would make it flow alot easier aswel.
@@sprayaholic hi thanks for your response. Yes it’s to block odour. I’m in a basement and a leak has caused damp behind my kitchen cupboards. The wood at the back is not damp but the actual wall is. I believe from research there is trapped stinky air behind and between the wall and units so I plan to seal any gaps and paint the interiors of the cupboards. As nothing gets rid of the smell. This is my last resort as it’s going to take a very long time to dry out and apparently my landlady can’t smell anything bad lol. Anyway Iv no experience with a spray gun at all but the cupboards are reall deep into the corners so thought it may be easier? I was looking at this paint as it’s low voc and again thought hood for internal kitchen cupboards?
Just pulled mine out of the box and already can't even see the directions the font is so small so thanks for visual instructions greatly appreciate it and I just paid over 50 for mine at Walmart.
I just wish you would’ve used the different tips to show you which ones to put on there and for what I guess and you’re going so close to the wood or to the furniture what tip did you use to do that furniture with?
@ThereseJanssen-t8f i did say in the video why i went with the tip and which one i used. I went with the 1.8 as the smaller numbers are for really runny paints. Bigger number is a bigger hole so lets more paint out but can be more splattery. Usually about 8inch away from surface
It never said on the description. Ive tried zinsser bin shellac through it and worked. Possibly over time harsher chemical cleaners may deteriorate it but for the price it not expensive
How are you my friend, all good i hope. Did you get a qtech 5 if so how does it compare with the graco 9.5 as I’m thinking of getting one as its cheaper than the graco even with a remote pot Appreciate the time and content you put in 👏
Excellent video.but you don't mention what's the distance between the nozzle and surface as recommended should be 8 inches to 10 inches and yours less than 5 inches. Thanks.
I've bought the Erbauer sprayer and some Graco FFLP tips. Do you have any advice on thinning paint? Will be starting a project this weekend to spray my kitchen cabinets, with Farrow & Ball primer and modern eggshell Hauge Blue.
I thought you had to hold the spray gun straight towards straight pointing to what you're painting . Is it ok to keep going on different angles like you did? I see so many techniques. I like yours the most if it's ok to spray what your painting on a 45 degree angle too
Hi, I'm looking for a sprayer just to spray MDF primer onto MDF cupboards. I wanted the eaps 600 as there was a refurb for 110 at Screwfix, but that's disappeared since. I have a limited budget and would only be using for the primer and possibly most coating in future. Any help would be appreciated
Hey So youd be wanting to mistcoat rooms as well as use for primer? Ideally youd want an airless sprayer. If youre mistcoating you dont want to be filling the pot up all the time and rolling would be faster than using a hvlp. Airless would get the job done and probably the best budget option would be this
Thanks so much, that's the one I've been looking at for a starter model to see if I can get into it. They was 110 quid for a refurb direct from screwfix last month and I didn't bite, now the refurbs have gone! Guess I'll have to go full price lol
@Martin Corrigan ha or change store and see if theres another locally. Atleast the new one if it goes wrong you take it straight back and you know its new
@@sprayaholic brilliant! Thank you! Do you suggest diluting the paint you’re using in the jug of the spray gun or the entire paint can? My wife and I are going to paint an accent wall for our nursery, if I bugger it my corpse will be on BBC
@MacMan306-A haha. Just dilute the amount youre using. Not the whole tub. Only do the tub if youre going to use it all. But an accent wall id probably say it would be quicker to roll it? Consistency of single cream or there abouts
I have recently purchased a Graco ProContracor 9.5 HVLP, was wondering what paint systems you would recommend for starting out? I have a previously varnished bannister with spindles that needs BIN primer - already watched your video on how to clean out etc but wondering what paint system to use on top. Currently using alot of Benjamin Moore Scuff X day to day but unsure if that will be suitable to spray. Any advice would be great
I love benjamin moore, use alot of scuff x and its brilliant. it sprays a dream aswel! also the advanced is a great product when use over the stix primer. sounds like youre already onto a winner. I chop and change and always come back to BM ha. although i do want to give teknos a go
Hi I have a question that you might be able to answer for me, the extra nozzles that came with the sprayer, do you change it for?, thicker paints or primers, greater paint flow.......? Thank You Jim, BTW Good video!
hey, the larger the tip number the more paint it allows out. but paint consistency is still key. id probably keep to the higher set of tips than the smaller ones with art great for most paints. more watery stains etc
it would have been good if when you got the paint thinned to where you liked it, then put it through the paint cup. Just looking at the pot with the stick in cannot be related to. Show it going through the cup!!!
Ok thanks for the input. What the stick shows in the cup is how the paint levels back into itself quickly compared to before thinning. I'll get some more videos covering it though
Thanks for the review! I picked up one of these thanks to your review - though i've got a lot of paint splatter! Not the fine mist you got... diluted to 25 dins (water based paint) and used the 1mm nozzle. Reckon i've diluted too much?! :(
Thanks for the support. Splatter is paint too thick or needle too small. Id keep to the 1.8mm size i did say what i used in the video. 1mm is for super thin products like water.
@@sprayaholic actually more like an automotive clear coat with hardner. I do printed vinyl signs and usually use an automotive clear coat to protect the print. Based on your experience with the gun so far, do you think it will work?
@Melvon Mitchell id guess at no. I doubt its made well enough to handle to harsher cleaning products like the thinners so could ruin the seals quickly. But spraying wise id say you could get it to spray and probably dial it in abit and get satisfactory results as apply enough and it will gel out nicely. But it is a diy machine. So be aware if you tried it its at your own risk ha. I guess its cheap.enough to try. The cheaper units are more fiddly to get to a good spray fan.
@francosantarossa8006 left it outside the masked room, grabbed it afterwards when i used the airless. Had good extraction and windows open and plus it was that slow the airbourn dust was so low
@@edcalibresword2311 as in the big wall? I sprayed some of it with airless. This was just a demo to show this unit in action. Not one of my normal sprayers
Ha jokes. There's a massive wall next to it that's the same. 4 coats. Better finish sprayed and still faster as you don't need to wait for it to dry like the brush as it won't pull. Plus, this was literally a video to show this Diy sprayer not how fast can i spray it. I smashed it with airless afterwards. But thanks for your comment
Not really. Have you ever used durable matt? Diluted first coat, then 3 top coats. Its solid. Dilute for very absorbant surfaces or new plaster. Durable matt onto previous painted woodwork goes off solid aswel
@Phillip Coupe the bond onto absorbant surfaces is just as good as the acrylic primer undercoat. Test it is the only way you'll see for yourself. If it would have scratched off i wouldn't of done it. Paints have changed over the last few years

I've bought the Erbauer sprayer and some Graco FFLP tips. Do you have any advice on thinning paint? Will be starting a project this weekend to spray my kitchen cabinets, with Farrow & Ball primer and modern eggshell Hauge Blue.
Hey, i usually thin 10% to start and it should be decent. Also using a suitable tip size. 310 or 210 for woodwork 517 for walls as a start
@@sprayaholic Thanks very much for the advice :)
I thought you had to hold the spray gun straight towards straight pointing to what you're painting . Is it ok to keep going on different angles like you did?
I see so many techniques. I like yours the most if it's ok to spray what your painting on a 45 degree angle too
Great video, thanks 😊
Thanks for watching
How much water did you add? to dilute
About 15% if i remember. Start with 10% measured out then keep adding 5% each time
Hi, I'm looking for a sprayer just to spray MDF primer onto MDF cupboards. I wanted the eaps 600 as there was a refurb for 110 at Screwfix, but that's disappeared since. I have a limited budget and would only be using for the primer and possibly most coating in future. Any help would be appreciated

Hey
So youd be wanting to mistcoat rooms as well as use for primer? Ideally youd want an airless sprayer. If youre mistcoating you dont want to be filling the pot up all the time and rolling would be faster than using a hvlp.
Airless would get the job done and probably the best budget option would be this
Here it is mistcoating ruclips.net/user/shortsJ3C2pWHbtrI?feature=share
Thanks so much, that's the one I've been looking at for a starter model to see if I can get into it. They was 110 quid for a refurb direct from screwfix last month and I didn't bite, now the refurbs have gone! Guess I'll have to go full price lol
@Martin Corrigan ha or change store and see if theres another locally. Atleast the new one if it goes wrong you take it straight back and you know its new
Not sure if I missed it but did you thin your paint with water or paint thinner?
Yes earlier on i mention and show the difference in consistency once i diluted with water
@@sprayaholic got it, will let you know how it goes!
it would be great if they offered plastic liners to keep is cleaner easier
You could always try something like a large sandwich bag. Things like that have worked before. Of you clean same day it usually comes out pretty quick
That music is a killer!!😂😂
Cant please everyone ha
@@sprayaholic Oh no!!! Real jazzy music there. Not a put down! A real toe tapper 👍😂😂😂😂
@timvala7577 ha glad you like it. Its hard to find music sometimes that goes with the videos but also isnt too hard listening
What paint were you using?
Was it a primer tinted or had the cupboards already been primed?
Thanks
top coat is mc phersons durable matt from crown. i did prime it in the colour first using acrylic primer undercoat
@@sprayaholic Thanks.
How well does it spray B.I.N?
i'll test it out next week and post a video
You did not show how u pluĝged in the tool. Did u use a compressor or not?
It has a power chord attached, it has a built-in fan so it sprays once power is supplied
I chop and change and always come back to BM ha. although i do want to give teknos a go
dilute maybe 5% and needle 4, shout work great. but test first and dilute more if needed
Brilliant, thanks for the advice mate!
Hello, does it last long??? Would wish not to waste money when buying
Well its a budget unit so its not ment to constant use.
Very good 😮
Thanks for checking out the video
Good job bro
Thanks for watching
Perfect!
Which is slow your or the gun?
@CajunvsCreole ha its the gun, for £50 you cant expect top quality
Hi I have a question that you might be able to answer for me, the extra nozzles that came with the sprayer, do you change it for?, thicker paints or primers, greater paint flow.......?
Thank You Jim, BTW Good video!
hey, the larger the tip number the more paint it allows out. but paint consistency is still key. id probably keep to the higher set of tips than the smaller ones with art great for most paints. more watery stains etc
What about cleaning the device??
I'll make a video in the next couple of weeks for cleaning as its been asked a few times
Waterbased paints just warm soapy water and a brush and spray the clean water through when the pots been cleaned out
@@sprayaholic thank you))
it would have been good if when you got the paint thinned to where you liked it, then put it through the paint cup.
Just looking at the pot with the stick in cannot be related to.
Show it going through the cup!!!
Ok thanks for the input. What the stick shows in the cup is how the paint levels back into itself quickly compared to before thinning. I'll get some more videos covering it though
SPOILER the nearly 1,400 4.5 star ratings on the Amazon page shown give away the ending...

Subscribed 👍
appreciate the support
Is this "airless"? Are there any airless sprayers around the same price?
No this is hvlp. Airless budget range starts around 200 i think
Have you tried it with Clear Coat? If yes, what are the results?
As in a 2k product? Or like a waterbased varnish?
@@sprayaholic OK. Thats along the lines of what I was thinking also. Thanks for the info.
Looks better than wanger,
Seems like a copy of their cheap models
Nice video but where's your mask?
@francosantarossa8006 left it outside the masked room, grabbed it afterwards when i used the airless. Had good extraction and windows open and plus it was that slow the airbourn dust was so low
🎉
🙌
I hope you weren't going for that green on the left?
@@edcalibresword2311 as in the big wall? I sprayed some of it with airless. This was just a demo to show this unit in action. Not one of my normal sprayers
Took ages to paint with sprayer, plus time taken to mask up ,was it worth it ,no !! Get your paint brush out ,with mini roller 😊
Davis Mary White Steven Martinez Barbara
why no primer? one scratch and thats off
Not really. Have you ever used durable matt? Diluted first coat, then 3 top coats. Its solid. Dilute for very absorbant surfaces or new plaster. Durable matt onto previous painted woodwork goes off solid aswel
@@sprayaholic i don't doubt it goes off solid, but I don't believe it will be properly bonded to the surface.
@Phillip Coupe the bond onto absorbant surfaces is just as good as the acrylic primer undercoat. Test it is the only way you'll see for yourself. If it would have scratched off i wouldn't of done it. Paints have changed over the last few years
👍👍👍👏🙏
