@youtubular007 id say maybe 10% atleast as you can easily over apply with just spray. But more in textured surfaces as you can spray and try to flood the surface to cover it all. Where its actually best to spray and back roll to push it in. Or use this . Its mainly a big time saver. Especially as 1 man team

@@Davey-x1s hey. I diluted emulsion with water about 30% on bare plaster and about 10% for top coats.

@theheavymetalpainter these are ment to be self lubricated or sealed units so weren't really much need for that to happen. I've never done it on my gxff. The pump lube is there to prevent debris or dried paint from sliding down when the piston moves up and down

@ramsesra200 you should always wear a mask. So yes, you can get overspray but technique and tip can reduce it alot

@bryanbutler6011 hey appreciate the support. No they are interchangeable. You can use the cleanshot on it and tritech or wagner guards on the cleanshot.

Honestly i think for something lile that youd maybe be quicker using say frog tape and a mini roller. Youd have less masking and be faster overall. If you have a crown store near you, they sell arrow worthy mini rollers. A medium or short pile holds a lot of paint and gives a smooth finish

@@sprayaholic oh really! See I was thinking that the spray would be a smoother finish and quicker. I’ll definitely go with what you recommend, sick of these wardrobe doors. They were meant to get replaced and the guy was a no show!!! So they are like wood look alike, aluminium I’m guessing, you know with a wood like grain - roller with a pile not a sponge?

@LarryTait1 ye they have their place. You can still twist these side ways and nip up the guard though. But for workshop setting where you're in a more controlled environment. Thats where they shine

I only spray new builds by the way, so just emulsion and primers....nothing fancy

Ive got some bigger sizes and i havnt tried them yet. I will soon. The issue is for mass spraying you couldn't twist to blow a blockage out. So unless you filter well it would be an issue.i guess. But in interested in seeinh the difference. Also when they say its less overspray theyre no doubt using a small size. Say a 611 or something. When we're using 621 or something. So there would be alot less over spray regardles of which type of tip it was

@sprayaholic yeah, blockages would be a deal breaker for me if I can't blast it out. I'll stick to my gracos, always fit for the job

@badlefthook624 they often have an inline filter on the hose aswel. But ye industrial and new construction stick with the easy use ones as saves down time

@ tritech is really ahead of the game now they need to come out with a mobile unit like graco’s quick shot!

@bingobunga8995 i did a test on my instagram page with fflp 310 and a tritech ultra 310. The tritech was spitty but nice solid fan the graco was abit softer. But that flat tip shocked me. Love their machines
