I love that you're so clean with your work, thanks for sharing. I've learned so much from your videos.
Gorgeous!!! This makes so much more sense to me than the post - base bump many people favor. As a perfectionist I love having more control over my work. Thanks for this video! What a beautiful result!
Great job💪!! Thank you for posting!!
Jason you are a great educator, your videos are impecables...please don't stop doing susch a great work..
Please keep the creativity and the awesome video demos' coming :)! You guys rock.
I really like the way you work,, beautiful work
thank you
That looks great keep the videos coming!!
Beautiful color !!
Don’t matter about bad comments people are bored and don’t have life! You did such a amazing job I love it!!!!! I wish you do my hair but I live in Miami !!!!
Yezzz! Queen! That’s how I foil with an assistant!!!!
Wow! So pretty!
bellissima!!! bravo!!!!
I didn't exactly understand why the baby hairs around the face bleached at the bowl and then highlighted on top of that, but oh well. The outcome is nice, although it does look very much like a full head of color.
holy shizzle that's awesome.
Hey Jason
! Great video!
Question, when you do the bleach on hairline how long do you keep it on for? I just worry about the hair being a little warm around that area but I guess you can foil through it. Thanks!
I have probably watched this video 5 times over the last couple of months. Its so beautiful and inspiring....Makes me want to do some hair today hahah. Please upload more videos, i've watched all of them . Also where can a cosmetologist buy dphue? I want to get get the 8.1 with blue additive.
great work, amazing quality of working, clean, organized super good result! new concurent for BIG GUY TANG.keep on like that.
If not better than guy tang, colours are more defined and the attention to detail is on point!
+Emma sharkey It's not about one being better than the other. They're two different people and they're both artistic, professional and skilled in their own right. It's fine if you personally favor one over the other though.
OmGGG I LOOOVEE THE GIRL STYLISTS HAIRR ISS CUTE I WANT MINE LIKE THAT FR
very good
How long you been doing hair colouring?
I like seeing the end results, they look so great
I love the idea of the blue additive but how about when you add a toner on top of that to your highlights as I would be coloring the root before I highlight. Blue plus yellow equals green! What type of toners would i need to avoid to avoid that ugly clash of colors when applying toner and avoid ending up w green hair?
Very Very Gooooooood 😍👏👏👏😍
In contrast to the others, I think your assistant looks fabulous & rocks her look . Wonderful work from the both of you!
She looks great but she is way too exposed for work- that’s what you wear going to a club! Her boobs are in the clients face! But the work is great
Finally someone assisting with the foil work cuts so much time off the entire service.
Show finished style at the end plz
Great video! thanks from Moscow, Russia.
Justin!!! can I do this for a level 5 with medium-coarse hair to bring to a level 7A? just add some blue to cut the warmth?
Wow
pretty
its LA and she looks amazing and he does pristine work .
great job, super professional. I would like to mention that the music in your videos doesn't suit the tempo of your style, why don't you play some sexy jazz music? I find I have to silence it. keep on posting the videos! thanks
ufff.beutyful
dude....you're models are smokin hit. especially this one!! great hair/ and totally beautiful.
WTH does she have on?
LOL
What would you use for the base if you dont have dpHue? I use Redkin and have been using 7na w/20 vol. still noticing a little warmth! Love her base!
Beautiful color!
Cami Lykins If you've noticed, Justin used an additive to cut out more of the warmth. Also, 7na has neutral as it's primary tone and ash as it's secondary tone. Therefore there is less ash than neutral, and not enough ash to get rid of that warmth. In order to neutralize unwanted orange tones, you need a good, ash base. Which is why Justin used a blue additive. He also used a neutral-ash base to soften some of the ash, since neutral softens tones. It all depends on the look you want to achieve. Yeah, it's a lot, but it becomes second nature once you understand it. Hope this helps.
He also used 10 vol
The results are fantastic, thanks. You clearly know what your are doing. However, the music and the frenetic camera work make it hard to watch. Love the results!
wonderful assistant
Where are you guys from... i want you to do my hair
you didn't mention whats the additive is it a color?? please specify brand and color thank you
Great work! People are really jealous about your assistant's clothes and body?! Keep doing you!
Theyre not jealous. It just looks nightclubby not daytime professional. Its almost disrespectful to many clients/ viewers.
Your assistant giving me the fifth element vibes, love it! And your beautiful hair work ☺
wow
You do such beautiful blondes, Justin! Its nice how you include your assistants and ask their opinions and promote them too. Can you do a frozen close up shot of all the formulas at the end of each video, please. Keep up these awesome videos. You and Mandy are my favorites!
Why can't he hold his own foils?
it just helps make the process faster so he can get the lightener in the hair because doing them yourself takes a lot longer :) also gives the assistant something to do instead of just standing and watching haha
hahaha. He can afford an assistant to do it. faster means more money
On top of that it helps ensure the foils are as close to the scalp as possible and that will avoid bleeders and tiger spots.

Lazy prima donna colorist gets all the glory even tho the assistant is doing his job for him. Ridic.
The client in the chair is uber hot.
Why no root gloss like with Allie Lutz?
How much would you charge for something like this?
dad 🥰❤️
What. Bleach use? Wella??
what volume did you use on the base breaker?
10 it looks like on that paper he showed
You're great as a teacher I learned a lot, but I saw the comments and people only care about what this girl used, what the fuck they care
Why not use an 8.1 with no additive? 0 has Red And Yellow plus BG color so underproductive if you're cutting orange.
Headcartoon Neutral softens tones, in case you're worried about getting an extreme ash tone.
She looks like David Bowie.
She looks like a young Daryl Hannah!
Stunning blonde
She looks like the beautiful version of Cameron Diaz.
Maybe the outfit is just for the video.... idk if anyone can tell but in all of his videos, no one else is in the salon. Its just them. Makes me think it happens not on salon hours.
Also, no one goes to Justin Anderson because of what his assistant looks like. He's a celebrity hair colorist, people go to see him. Not her. Especially someone of his caliber, I really wouldn't care one bit.
your assistant looks HOT! Don't mind the haters in the comments and LOVE her hair!
not really sure what the initial root application was for......and if it were to do anything, wouldn't 1.9% been better?...you'll still get some lift with 3% and ANY lift at all will expose warmth....I think the industry is becoming too bogged down in all this technical shit, pre- toning before toning AGAIN....then 'glossing'........breaking the base.....work for the sake it sometimes......it just seems to impress everyone.....
I love her black dress
The only issue I have here is the assistant. Does she realize where the eye level sits for clients? Probably. A little unprofessional in my opinion.
lol she looks ridiculous 😂 I wish I had that much confidence for an outfit like that in a salon.
Ok whatever jealous "greef". How obvious are you? I was actually going to say...you should do a tutorial on your assistants hair. Which, is fantastic. She looks great... the entirety including her kleidung. Lots of colour...not so... lets say "grey".
what is she wearing? so distracting and not in a good way. 😨
Informative video but the outfit on the "assistant" is not necessary. Very unprofessional.
Her outfit is cute for the bar, not work. I’d make her throw a smock on lol
she need to wear dress cover herself more than what she wearing now
thats dress for for night club not for work at salon
you can dress up at home not for public
Why would you wear something like that while working on a guest. Smh
bahh too ashy in my opinion. but to each their own :)
What is this Assistant wearing during work not professional looks work in a bar
she looks like the late jfk jr 's wife...so not cameran diaz
Inappropriate clothing for a hair video
