Janet just left the band. She is not dead. Julia lage was a good addition (bassist). She is Richie kotzens wife. I saw Richie kotzen on the monsters of rock cruise. Julia sat next to my wife(open seating). Pretty cool
"I myself have a particular infatuation for Roxy". Totally agree. Every since I saw the video for this song I has also hooked on her. Massive talent and beauty!
Yes Roxy Petrucci is a striking woman there's no disputing that. And that's definitely part of my infatuation but I also love watching her play she's not only technically great her flare and enthusiasm are equally amazing.
She IS an awesome lady!! I was the house photographer at the Tumble Inn in Eckerman, MI, in the middle of the Upper Peninsula. Vixen played there several times. It didn't hurt that the Tumble was co-owned by her sister Maxine and Chris "Godzilla" Doliber of Madam X fame.
They broke up in 1992. In 2012 the TV Show "Bands Reunited" brought them back together and they have done several appearances since then. Of course, now its without Jan. (Lead guitarist and founder) Bands Reunited Episode: ruclips.net/video/qWsOD8DWK0s/видео.html
Britt Lightning is the music director for Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp. Check it out, awesome. My daughter played drums with Britt and Lorraine, Lzzy Hale, Sam Maloney, Janet Robbins, and other PHENOMENAL women of rock at one of their camps. So fun!
Great to see they’ve carried on despite their losses. They sound great! Bought their debut LP (for you youngsters, that’s what we called these big, black vinyl discs you had to put on a turntable… oh, never mind) when it was released. In many ways, I really miss the 80s, but not vinyl.
Carried on? This is nothing more than a friggin cover band. How can they call themselves Vixen when Roxy is the only original. I saw them back in the 80s and this cover band doesn't come close
I have this album, yes the vinyl, hanging on the wall in my garage. I saw Vixen in concert the night of January 16, 1991 it was quite memorable not just because of the show but also because it was the first night of the Gulf War.
@@jakedoe1302 Roxy is the only original by 30 years. This is a cover band. If I paid to see any band on this bill I'd be pissed. And no, Jan wouldn't be happy at all about this. After she died it was a money grab.
Awesome video, I saw Vixen way back the year Donington Monsters of Rock was cancelled and there was a festival at Milton Keynes, near London instead. The girls were brilliant definitely one of the best bands to come out of the 80s. I've been a fan of Britt from her time in a fantastic band called Jaded onwards..

I have a guitar pick from the original bass player, Share Pederson. Got it when they played at Saratoga Winners in upstate N.Y. Damn that was a long time ago!
I love that they are still touring and playing live under the Vixen name (even though it's only 25% original Vixen). I'm curious if they are only playing Vixen songs or if they are mixing in Femme Fatale songs as well? FF had a few worthy songs and Lorraine Lewis belted them out with authority in the 80's / early 90's.
No. The only original member is the drummer. Original guitar player passed away in 2013. Original singer left the band in 2019. Original bass player left sometime in the last 10 months.
@@0773heidi Actually the original drummer was Laurie Hedlund. I've had a major infatuation with Roxy since the first time I saw a vixen video on MTV on the 90s. Even went so far as to name my Jack Russell Terrier Roxy.
I think Jan would be more than trilled that the band she created decades ago is still carrying on. RIP Jan……you rocked!
Watched them perform at the super rock festival in Mannheim Germany 1990……great show

I saw Vixen live on Daytona Beach 1989. It was a great show, I will never forget driving down from Michigan to Daytona for Spring Break.
I’m Just Here To Watch Roxy. The Gorgeous Queen Of The Drums. Go Vixen🔥👑🥁👏🏻😍
