They were all very beautiful and very talented. I'm glad Jan got a chance to get her feelings out, and to play one last time before she passed away. R.I.P. Jan, you will be sorely missed.
Yes, absolutely. They all seem very genuine, and kind. I see all of their perspectives, and think they are all right, for different reasons. I kind of side with the bassist, most of all. She was being the most authentically supportive of the band, and their long term success. She has some integrity and the courage of her convictions.

I was lucky to be part of a band that opened for them and provided tech support for them several years in a row when they came thru ND SD and MN. They became our rock n roll sisters and we protected and enjoyed doing shows together! It was like a family reunion we all enjoyed. And yes my jaw dropped the first time I heard them play! Miss my sister's! Rip Jan.
No, this wasn’t really the 80s rock scene, it was the corporate hellhole the music industry became, because far too many artists sold out for money, rather than being true to their principles. The bands that were true to their principles in the 80s like Throwing Muses, The Replacements, the Pixies (sadly now, the pixies shill for the man), broke the corporate nightmare up, into a million pieces in 1991-92. Good people, who allow self doubt and morons in suits, to sway them, from their intuition only extend the misery for those who have the courage of their convictions, and the bands who follow them.
Yeah, I think many bands during that time were royally screwed over by the record companies. They were given short 2 record deals and even when they sold very well, they didn't get paid shit
They needed to write some good songs with great melodies and hooks or hire it out. Same goes for all bands for continued success. Still, they would have been killed off by Nirvana like all the rest of the hair bands.
Crazy that I am seeing this only now for the first time. I cried through most of the reunion and I didn't even realize Jan had died until I read the comments after watching the video. Thank you for the amazing music. I love you, Vixen.
Janice "Gladys" Lynn Kuehnemund a Minnesota legend and hometown girl! I absolutely love Vixen and it really sucks I never got to see them live. I was crushed when Jan passed away 7 years ago. Very cool that Jan got to at least find closure in a positive way and resolve the past issues and have a damn good time doing so. Great reunion Vixen! R.I.P my childhood crush Jan
I was fortunate enough to have seen them live with White Lion and Ozzy Osbourne in the late 80's. I was totally blown away how beautiful they were and still are. they really could play some kick ass music. That's a concert I'll never forget. Thank you Vixen and especially Jan. May you R.I.P.
I remember meeting Jan and the other girls backstage at a concert at Tennessee Tech University my senior year in college, just before they went big time. Still have a pick and scarf Jan gave me, and a drumstick. And to top if off, Jan asked me what my name was and I told them Jimmy, and she grabbed the other three and they sang a song they wrote called "Jimmy", to me personally. Hot chicks with a great metal sound! Good times!
Vixen were fabulous! What a great band. I'm a guy so naturally I was in love with all 4 of them. I broke down and wept uncontrollably when Jan died. Watch this episode of Bands Reunited with Vixen and feel the pain. I tear up when Janet talks about the meeting in the restaurant every time.
As a 14 year old boy in 88 I fell in love with them. Truthfully that first album has never left me. I had the cassette, then I bought the CD, and now it's top 3 on my playlist. The best thing I can say is my daughters Love Vixen.
I was lucky enough to see these ladies on tour opening for White Lion in Davenport Iowa when I was only 16 years old. This was my first concert and I have to say, the most memorable one. I was a young aspiring guitarist who couldn't wait to see Vito Bratta play live. When Vixen took the stage, I was blown away by their live performance. But above and beyond the excellence of both White Lion and Vixen that I was lucky enough to witness that evening, I left the venue with an everlasting admiration Jan's playing. And of course, being within the confines of my 16 yr. old hormone imprisonment, she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. I was in the front row just below Jan's spot on the stage, and spent the entire duration of Vixen's set standing in a puddle of my own drool, LOL! I started that day excited to see Vito play, and it ended by me not being able to stop thinking about this ultra beautiful and talented female guitarist I was now in love with, lol. Thanks for the great memories. R.I.P. Jan, you are AMAZING!!!!!
Hey, as a fellow guitar player she was a melodic player and beautiful as well. Would have loved to see how she developed. Miss her and I hope she is jamming up there.
Metal Goddess! RIP Jan! Minnesota will NEVER forget you! I had such a mad crush on her. Always loved the striped hair she wore back in the 80s, that was so unique!!!
Never into Vixen back then but was an 80's metal head and in my own bands. So just decided to watch this and was very impressed and hoping to see these girls play, then see Jan has died of cancer before they reformed for a tour - gutted! RIP Jan Kuehnemund so sad
LIKEWISE! In my opinion, back then, if you were a male rocker, rocker girls/ladies (take your pick) or female rockers were the reason WHY you went to school (although your studies counted, as well!), the mall, and concerts!
I worked at a store called Rock On. Sold Rock n Roll shirts, posters and other stuff. Had a customer come in almost once a week looking for a VIXEN shirt. When we finally got a some we called him and he came in and bought them all. TRUE FAN!! Watching this brought back that memory. This was well worth the watch but I just hoped they would have showed more of them. 🎶🎶

every time the showed flashbacks to their 80s/early 90s performances and videos, I got a little emotional. Such good times. I may not have been alive but thank god I have a mom who was in love with them and recorded everything and I was able to spend my childhood watching those tapes. RIP JAN! VIXEN FOREVER!
namjoon stan I was 11 in 1988 when Edge of a Broken Heart was their first single. They never really were more popular than that first album... not really one hit wonder status, but close.
Jan Johansen You have zero clue what you are talking about The very fact that the band did not go.on despite the little attempt to replace the founder IS PROOF that relationships and PEOPLE were far more important to most people The founder could have easily kept the band going since she started it and replaced those who tried to replace her but she didn't Why didn't she ? Ego? Greed? No it's because she was hurt about the betrayal from those she thought were her close friends The 80s DID NOT SUCK AT ALL .PEOPLE CARED MORE ABOUT PEOPLE BACK THEN THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE BACK THEN WERE NOTHING LIKE TODAY TODAY PEOPLE ARE SO QUICK TO SAY ALL TYPES OF NEGATIVE NONSENSE AMD RUDE CRITICAL, OPINIONATED , STATEMENTS AND ACT LIKE THEY ARE FACTS.THE FACTS ARE WE COULD REALLY TRUST PEOPLE MORE BACK THEN WE USED TO CONSIDER OTHER PEOPLES FEELINGS.WE USED THE GO ALL OUT TO HELP EACH OTHER THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS SELFIES BACK THEN YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN ANYONE TAKING A PICTURE OF THER OWN SELF THAT WOULD HABE BEEN CONSIDERED REALLY WIERD IT IS A VERY WELL KNOWN FACT THAT TODAY THERE EXISTS MORE NARCISSISTIC EGO DRIVEN PEOPLE THEN EVER BEFORE.THIS IS KNOWN AS THE MOST EGOTISTICAL ERA IN U.S HISTORY.PEOPLE DONT CARE THE HELP THE DOWN AND OUT OR OTHERS AS MUCH AND I HAVE NOTICED PEOPLE DONT TRUST EACHOTHER MUCH ANYMORE AT ALL.YOU MUST LOCK YIUR DOOR AT NIGHT AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR WALLET JUST LAYING AROUND. WE USED TO DO THAT BACK THEN AND NO ONE WOULD STEAL IT.
namjoon stan That's beautiful You know Us men who don't feel insecure about our masculinity are not afraid the show emotions. My wife loves that I never hide my true feelings behind some macho man mask of insecurities. She actually says only the strongest men are not intimidated by doing that
I watched this show back in the day but just started getting recommended these videos from out of no where in 2023. I'm getting really bummed out! Like every different band I'm watching from this show, I end up finding out one of the people have died since this show. RIP Jan. :/
I saw them in Yokosuka Japan as a young US Marine in 1984.... in a small venue they blew me away, especially when Janet introduced herself being from my hometown of Bozeman, Montana! I also was really into bands like Scorpions, Def Leopard etc... and these women could ROCK! I’ve even got some old photos somewhere. I’m SO glad they got together this one last time. Hopefully they will continue in some way. They Still Have IT!
I remember I grew up on vixen, my dad would play their music all the time. We sat down and watched this when I was maybe 7 or 8, watching it now brings me back to so many good childhood memories. One of my favorite 80s bands for sure
Irrelevant. Live Dokken (even in 1988) sounded thin because there was only one George not 24 track George. Warren DeMartini without a second guitar harmonizing and more? Not as interesting to listen to. Much less dynamic.
What made them good was going out of fashion though, that's why the second album didn't sell. If they changed they're style at least they had a shot, because their brand of polished pop metal was radioactive by 1992.
I didn't know they'd done this. What a treat to see them back if only for a night. I'm glad Jan agreed to do this because sometimes it's very difficult to face people who you had a rough time with. I sure wish she hadn't died. This made them all happy and it was worth the wait.
Wow, that was actually kinda tear jerking. These ladies were the real deal deal and could rock on any stage with the best of them! I just hope that whatever happened after this that they all remained friends and put to bed any unresolved pains and issues. Rest in peace, Jan 🌹
I really enjoyed it. It was a pleasant nostalgic trip down to late 80s. I recall watching their music videos in awe. They rocked just as hard as the male bands. RIP Jan, you were my fav.
Ty for posting this. Back when all this happened u never knew what the real story was. I loved Vixen and still do and i'm a man's man.. They sure could rock. Lucky i was in my 20's thru the 80's . Rip Jan..
I was born in '97, but Vixen is my favorite band. I'm a big fan of the 80's band, especially the glam metal scene and when I first listened to these girls in 2011 I fell in love in that exactly moment. Jan is one of my guitar heroes (alongside with Joe Perry from Aerosmith and Warren DeMartini from Ratt), Janet is a magician with her voice, Roxy is a war machine behind the drums and Share is a bass queen. Love Vixen forever! R.I.P Jan!
Well there's nothing wrong with appreciation for the beautiful women neither it's a guilty pleasure. I remember a video where Vixen fanboys attending their sign event because they're hot. You guys had Samantha Fox, Vixen and Kim Wilde meanwhile we had Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Poison etc.
Miton Keynes-Superbowl is a great stadium, I also saw the live UK Tour of hit musical: Starlight Express there as well in 1993 😎 Where in England you from Colin, I'm in Kent right between Dartford/Bexley 👍🏻
This unification has inspired me to be the best of the best as a father and uncle as i can be. May God bless every one of these ladies for living their dream. From a man nicknamed POPS.
Thru the years I find myself always popping in a Vixen CD to get my fix for the Sexiest Metal ever made. All of them amazing performers and amazing musicians, how that 1st album didn't hit platinum 5 times over is beyond me. In the Service I visited many countries and people all over the world wore their T-Shirts and played that album, I'm thinking the record companies lied to them to greedily keep that money. Love these Ladies of Mayhem, Vixen was the absolute in their day. Jan you will forever be missed by legions of fans who were all fortunate and privileged enough to hear the music You, Janet, Share & Roxy wrote. Rest in Piece Beautiful Angel of Metal!
It was wonderful seeing them preform again especially in light of the passing of Jan. Vixen was one of my favorite groups during that time. Thank you very much for posting this video.
She was so very, very special And was so from the start his heart And like a single drop of rain That on still waters fall, Her life did ripples make And touched the lives of all. She's gone to play with angels In heaven up above So keep your special memories And treasure them with love Although your darling daughter Was with you just a while She'll live on in your heart With a sweet remembered smile. I love Jan
What an awesome show this was, thanks for uploading. I don't know why I'm always surprised when the Bands Reunited bands get onstage and kick @$$ -- it's like "duh, that's why they were rock stars"
Omg you ladies won my heart all over again. Yall did magnificent job and I was so blessed to hear the bury the hatchet thing. At least you realized yall were still friends. I know each of you are heading down different roads of life. There are lots of things that could be done over the internet ,that being said I think yall should do a farewell album. And do four shows one in the north ,south, east and west as a farewell to vixen. You guys could do this without it interfering with your personal lives. It's just an idea I think it would be awesome. I love you guys,I have all respect for each of you and as a whole. God bless you all, Consider all things.
Almost 1,000, 000 views! Vixen , deserved this ans much more. Thank , goodness 🙏 to Jan, for starting the group! She has the coolest hair in all thd 80s bands( and that's saying a lot!
Jan is kinda funny when she states (about bringing in another guitar player) "If I couldn't play something"....... Jan was an awesome guitar player...check out all of her guitar solos........wow. RIP Jan
Watching them reminded me of an interesting time in my life. I discovered Vixen as a Sgt. in the Army while in Desert Shield/Storm. I was given a pass to go to the USO/Saudi market and found both albums on cassette. I liked the look of the ladies and bought them for my Walkman. I immediately fell in love in love with the band and still love listening to them. Joined the fan club and never heard anything after that. I remember that back then I fell for Shane and after seeing her in this reunion show. She is still just as beautiful as always. Just wish I could get something knitted from her.
Ein fantastisches Video einer fantastischen Band. Mir kamen die Tränen, als ich es sah. Ich verbinde mit Vixen so viele tolle erinnerungen an meine Jugend. Vielen vielen dank fürs uploaden :)
Mike from North County St Louis Ferguson I remember seeing Vixen in a little Club several times and they sold the bar out every time they showed up I'm 64 years old and I remember them still to this day they could play rock and roll and they were a piece of the pie that kept me going as well as a few other bands in my musical career... you girls kicked it All three my bandmates are gone now from my original group from those early days I'm glad you all got to experience it the reunion😎
Saw them at the height of their fame in the late 80's in a small club in Birmingham UK called the Hummingbird. They absolutely smashed it.. standing ten feet away and it was just perfect.
Younger bands can benefit from ones like these who have gone through it and stand much better chances of survival ! It's a great thing that Vixen discussed their journey openly sharing their band experience . Huge successes are built lots of unseen failures , I think this story will help musicians to watch for these stumbling blocks ! Thanks for sharing Vixen . 23/05 2021
I was very lucky. Right after this show, they went on a tour in Europe with Zakk Wylde and others. When they came back, they wanted to do some small shows to get polished. I had a music venue in Wichita, Ks-I booked them. It was not the exact same lineup. My band Ten Day Wish opened for them. And I was their sound mixer for the night. I asked them to run down one song-it was Edge of a Broken Heart. They stopped, I asked them if everything on stage was good-it was. They asked their road manager, and he aid "this guy's way better than everyone on the European tour". Jan passed away a couple of years after that. I was so fortunate to have worked with her!
I always liked Vixen's music, but I had no idea that all four members had such great broadcast personalities. They seemed like professionals at public speaking in this. They could all be talk show hosts. That was really cool to see. This documentary also made a fascinating story.
Wow! How these girls could ROCK! So happy that VH1 were able to get the band back together in the same room again to finally close the chapter of their split. They clearly rediscovered the love and respect for each other that had disappeared in the murky waters of what went before. People grow and change over time, and it's nice that these ladies were able to fully reconnect. What a superb band Vixen were! RIP Jan. The world will forever miss you... x \m/
This was actually such a great surprise. Had no idea I would watch the whole thing. By the way, Aamer Haleem was fantastic. he asked some really hard questions that were uncomfortable to them.. but did it with taste and touch and class. RIP Jan.
WOW...what an Amazing Reunited !!! Good old Memories...and R.I.P. JAN. THE BEST FEMALE BANDS...THAT HAVE EVER BE ON STAGE.THNX for Uploading this !!! I'm 58 Years old (Born in 1960) Greets😎🤘👍
Vixen was as good as any of the guy-metal bands of the time, and better at live reproduction of their songs than most imho, but Jan was the heart and soul of that band. What a cool woman, great performer, and kick-ass guitarist! Miss you Jan, rest peacefully.
Whatever you are drinking / smoking / consuming, I think it’s had an effect on your critical thinking chip. Vixen were ok, just ok. During the 80s and early 90s the genre had the biggest hitters in it, it also had talent that out wrote, out played and out sold Vixen many times over. There’s a good reason for that, they just weren’t THAT good, they weren’t awful but don’t oversell them eh?
I played bass on Bubble's second album " total harmonic distortion" and toured England and Japan with Shar and her husband/ drummer/ cowriter Bam Ross ( he played in the English band Dogs d'amour ) .they did 3 albums ( the first had faster pussycat members) and the little snippet of a video they show when talking to Shar is from Bubble's third album , ( which is EXCELLENT) . Shari's attitude and punkish stylings was so great to be reminded of our time together, playing the south by southwest, Edem festival in Vegas and a month touring England, a week in Tokyo and dozens of gigs in greater LA. But this just popped up on my algorithm and blew me away, so much history.
Nice work ladies. A heart together beats in rhythm. Thank you for coming together. I believe this was more for you than us the fans. Closure doesn’t always happen . I hope Vixen has one, but not an end!
I am always amazed how some of these people lives ended up. You would think with all the fame and fortune, these girls would never have to work again. Yet they all lead a lifestyle just like any other person with many working average paying jobs. I am sure that this gives many of us comfort who had dreams of becoming a actor, musician, etc but it never happened for us. We ended up with boring jobs, boring lives, and hardly enough money to pay the bills. Yet as I continue to watch these videos it seems that what really matters in life is how you treat people. Because in the end it don't matter how much money or fame you had. Everyone that knows you will judge you by how you treated them. To have people say that you were a good person rich or poor is probably the best gift you will ever receive.
I got a little emotional watching this as well, I never really gave this band much attention but being a child of the eighties it's impossible to have completely missed out on such an amazing group! I am very happy to have stumbled upon this video! I'm definitely collecting their discography asap!
Very talented ladies! Love "Rev it up" album. Every song rocks! Jan K came from Forest Lake, MN. I met her sister back in 1989, I was working at 7-11 in White Bear Lake and this lady with a signed Vixen shirt came in and I asked about it and she said Jan was her sister. Not sure if true or not but it did happen. RIP Jan!! Lost Michelle Meldrum of Phantom Blue as well. Rock on Ladies!!
They were all very beautiful and very talented. I'm glad Jan got a chance to get her feelings out, and to play one last time before she passed away. R.I.P. Jan, you will be sorely missed.
Wow, that was lucky that they got to do it at all. So sad.
Very sweet. She is having the time of her life right now, while we are stuck down here, in this shitshow.
Wow, I did not know that she passed away. RIP Jan.
I'm glad Jan got to do this before she passed away. She seemed really happy to be doing it again with her band.

Kind for the three to turn against one? And the one to start the band?
Those are facts!
Absolutely ❤❤❤ RIP
She passed away?
I knew Jan and all I can say she was so sweet. I really miss her. Such a wonderful person.
They did her so wrong! She started the band in the first place. Share seems petty!
I know we all miss her. From the first I saw her in that B movie Hard Bodies (and Janet) that we're called DIAPER RASH! Vixen where good playing on stage in the movie!
She was a nice guitar player too.
Love her style with the jacket
Today's youth will never have it as good as the 80s...
That is so very true!!

Out of all the Bands Reunited episodes, this one is the best one of all.
Agreed, this was one of the only ones where they were able to get back the entire original lineup for a show, no substitute players. Berlin was the only other one I remember them doing it with.
Just a suggestion. Not sure if you saw the Romeo Void reunion, but for me it was the most "I am REALLY happy to see you again" episode. Cheers!

Kajagoogoo and Haircut 100 also...
Vixen is one of my favorites.
I always thought they were so under rated..
They all had talent and their music still ROCKS today..
And from other bands opinion or them, they were one of the hardest working bands out there. I remember them back then, but unfortunately never saw them live.

That sucks that she died :(
I'm crying too... I frequently re-watch their concert videos. They were awesome.

They deserved more success than they got back in the day.
They did sell more than a million albums.

Damn, I had zero idea that this happened. She was always my favorite of the band.
all these girls are still ridiculously hot...R.I.P.Jan...

I'm a 32 year old guy.
And i loved this band ever sense i heard them as a teenager in the early 2000's.
These girls rocked and were an awesome band. Thanks for posting this episode. I love Vixen.
and went home and jacked off all over them, because he was a huge loser
Augford P. Doggie. You're the loser since you have to resort to comments like that to get attention.
This was way back in the 90's or more recently?
I absolutely loved this show... Got goose bumps every episode! Thanks for rebooting the memories ❤️
This is so amazing!!! I love this so much! Vixen is the band that keeps me alive! Rest In Peace Jan! never forgotten ♥♥♥♥
The Comfort In Static
The Comfort In Static same here, had no clue.
Thompson twins what a jol vixen were hot Joe cocker a legend I had the privillage to see him at sun city RSA Angela young u rock class of 86 rock on eighties william rustenburg southafrica
saraya 80s Found out she died earlier today...I was heartbroken.
saraya 80s same here.love vixen.so sad that Jan died.she was amazing.
every time the showed flashbacks to their 80s/early 90s performances and videos, I got a little emotional. Such good times. I may not have been alive but thank god I have a mom who was in love with them and recorded everything and I was able to spend my childhood watching those tapes. RIP JAN! VIXEN FOREVER!
namjoon stan great pity they didn't show the whole of the show. UK fan
You both sound gay
namjoon stan I was 11 in 1988 when Edge of a Broken Heart was their first single. They never really were more popular than that first album... not really one hit wonder status, but close.
Jan Johansen You have zero clue what you are talking about
The very fact that the band did not go.on despite the little attempt to replace the founder IS PROOF that relationships and PEOPLE were far more important to most people The founder could have easily kept the band going since she started it and replaced those who tried to replace her but she didn't
Why didn't she ? Ego? Greed? No it's because she was hurt about the betrayal from those she thought were her close friends
The 80s DID NOT SUCK AT ALL .PEOPLE CARED MORE ABOUT PEOPLE BACK THEN
THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE BACK THEN WERE NOTHING LIKE TODAY
TODAY PEOPLE ARE SO QUICK TO SAY ALL TYPES OF NEGATIVE NONSENSE AMD RUDE CRITICAL, OPINIONATED , STATEMENTS AND ACT LIKE THEY ARE FACTS.THE FACTS ARE WE COULD REALLY TRUST PEOPLE MORE BACK THEN WE USED TO CONSIDER OTHER PEOPLES FEELINGS.WE USED THE GO ALL OUT TO HELP EACH OTHER THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS SELFIES BACK THEN YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN ANYONE TAKING A PICTURE OF THER OWN SELF THAT WOULD HABE BEEN CONSIDERED REALLY WIERD
IT IS A VERY WELL KNOWN FACT THAT TODAY THERE EXISTS MORE NARCISSISTIC EGO DRIVEN PEOPLE THEN EVER BEFORE.THIS IS KNOWN AS THE MOST EGOTISTICAL ERA IN U.S HISTORY.PEOPLE DONT CARE THE HELP THE DOWN AND OUT OR OTHERS AS MUCH AND I HAVE NOTICED PEOPLE DONT TRUST EACHOTHER MUCH ANYMORE AT ALL.YOU MUST LOCK YIUR DOOR AT NIGHT AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR WALLET JUST LAYING AROUND.
She actually says only the strongest men are not intimidated by doing that
Roxy is so kind and funny. Gotta love her!!
Especially when she said; "I play with myself"...... Referring to her Double Kicker TAMA
I love that she didn’t even wait for them to ask her if she’d consider reuniting with Jan, Janet and Share. “Yes, I will do a Vixen reunion!”
I was but a child in the 80s (born 1978), but my brother introduced me to everything good in the 80s. Glam, Thrash, everything! Thanks Bro! Love ya!
"Love is a killer. A homicidal fiend.." My favorite Vixen song. RIP Jan. Excellent guitarist!
Song was Written by Roxy Petrucci
Great video....Jan was a beautiful person inside and out...Always so sweet and kind...Damn cancer...May God bless her always...I miss her so much 😍😍😍
Hell yeah F cancer. ❤
I remember I grew up on vixen, my dad would play their music all the time. We sat down and watched this when I was maybe 7 or 8, watching it now brings me back to so many good childhood memories. One of my favorite 80s bands for sure
Jan was a very good guitar player. They didn't need another guitar player.
No they didn't. Worst decision ever.
Irrelevant. Live Dokken (even in 1988) sounded thin because there was only one George not 24 track George. Warren DeMartini without a second guitar harmonizing and more? Not as interesting to listen to. Much less dynamic.
@@Limited_Light Nah, they didn't need another player. Janet played guitar too so if they needed to fill any holes she could have done it.
@@LinkRocks Hence, there WAS a second player to begin with, you say? So, you're making my point for me?
What made them good was going out of fashion though, that's why the second album didn't sell. If they changed they're style at least they had a shot, because their brand of polished pop metal was radioactive by 1992.
I didn't know they'd done this. What a treat to see them back if only for a night. I'm glad Jan agreed to do this because sometimes it's very difficult to face people who you had a rough time with. I sure wish she hadn't died. This made them all happy and it was worth the wait.
Who would have thunk that this show gave Vixen a whole new lease on life…..and still to this day. Jan’s vision was spot on…..rip.
I feel blessed to say I am friends with them and especially with Share who is such an incredible musician and human being.
Ty for posting this. Back when all this happened u never knew what the real story was. I loved Vixen and still do and i'm a man's man.. They sure could rock. Lucky i was in my 20's thru the 80's . Rip Jan..
I was at that Milton Keynes gig Vixen smashed it, skid row were good too 👍
I was born in '97, but Vixen is my favorite band. R.I.P Jan!
One of my guilty pleasures. Jan looked so happy onstage again. She was always my favorite. They are all beautiful.
2022 They Still Rock 🤘🖤🔥
I was at the Milton Keynes gig! My first proper gig age 16! Great show!
Miton Keynes-Superbowl is a great stadium, I also saw the live UK Tour of hit musical: Starlight Express there as well in 1993 😎
Where in England you from Colin, I'm in Kent right between Dartford/Bexley 👍🏻
This unification has inspired me to be the best of the best as a father and uncle as i can be. May God bless every one of these ladies for living their dream. From a man nicknamed POPS.
I have so many great memories listening to these women. A great band of the era, or any other
Dang, that was really amazing! Never was a fan but I am now.
Jan, you were a great rock guitarist. In the end, you got the closure, and respect from the others that you rightly deserved. Amen. R.I.P.
Rest in Piece Beautiful Angel of Metal!
the 80's n 90's were the best decades they had the best music
It was wonderful seeing them preform again especially in light of the passing of Jan. Vixen was one of my favorite groups during that time. Thank you very much for posting this video.
She was so very, very special And was so from the start
his heart
And like a single drop of rain That on still waters fall,
Her life did ripples make And touched the lives of all.
She's gone to play with angels In heaven up above
So keep your special memories And treasure them with love
Although your darling daughter Was with you just a while
She'll live on in your heart With a sweet remembered smile.
Remember them in dat beach movie hard bodies
So sad to have not to be able to see this awesome lady rock guitarist. R.I.P. Jan.
Ein fantastisches Video einer fantastischen Band.
Mir kamen die Tränen, als ich es sah.
Ich verbinde mit Vixen so viele tolle erinnerungen an meine Jugend.
Vielen vielen dank fürs uploaden :)
They're all still HOT! Their biggest hit was given to them by Richard Marx.
Mike from North County St Louis Ferguson I remember seeing Vixen in a little Club several times and they sold the bar out every time they showed up
I'm 64 years old and I remember them still to this day they could play rock and roll and they were a piece of the pie that kept me going as well as a few other bands in my musical career...
you girls kicked it
All three my bandmates are gone now from my original group from those early days I'm glad you all got to experience it
the reunion😎
Saw them at the height of their fame in the late 80's in a small club in Birmingham UK called the Hummingbird. They absolutely smashed it.. standing ten feet away and it was just perfect.
I was there too in the summer of 89....at Hummingbird, Birmingham.....managed to grab few guitar picks from Jan..awesome ......
R.I.P. Jan my high school crush love you always 💜💜💜💜😭🙏
I love these girls. They will always have a place in my heart.
The era lives on ladies ! Truly a contribution to rock music history !!
This was amazing ty for the post, I have tears. coming from an old rocker, god the memories.
r.i.p. Jan...........................
deputyduffy What year did she pass away..
She died in 2013.
@THE AVERAGE BEAR Jan Kuehnemund died in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on October 10, 2013, after a 10-month-long battle with cancer.
These girls are very very likeable spirits. Awesome.
This was a great video! For me it's not just the Graves, I love anytime I get to see my favorite state! Thank you.
Vixen was as good as any of the guy-metal bands of the time, and better at live reproduction of their songs than most imho, but Jan was the heart and soul of that band. What a cool woman, great performer, and kick-ass guitarist! Miss you Jan, rest peacefully.
Lol. Even you don't believe that.
Better than a lot of the bands, who were so busy trying to be other bands, Vixen were a real band!
Better than the band Poison and couple other male bands , but thats about it .
Women just can't do anything better than men......even if men wanted to be better at croché, they could.
Very well done! Really enjoyed watching this! What a great bunch of girls!
Who is bubbles?
Nice work ladies. A heart together beats in rhythm. Thank you for coming together. I believe this was more for you than us the fans. Closure doesn’t always happen . I hope Vixen has one, but not an end!
Supershow!!! I love Vixen very much!
One of my favorite bands. Very nice to see them together again.
You guys just brought tears to my eyes, so many memories, best years of my life.
Thank you very much 😊😊
I got a little emotional watching this as well, I never really gave this band much attention but being a child of the eighties it's impossible to have completely missed out on such an amazing group! I am very happy to have stumbled upon this video! I'm definitely collecting their discography asap!
Vixen still play, you should go see them in concert. The only thing is Loreen Lewis of Fem Fatale is the lead singer now.
Was lucky enough to see them in concert, Scorpions tour was one too.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH VIXEN!!!
Thank you for the TOTALLY AWESOME memories!!!
RIP Jan!
oh man!!! so many memories coming back!! those years were incredible. I loved and still love Share.
Wow! Amazing! Thank you for sharing! Thank you Bands Reuniting! 💖
Glad there was maybe some closure before Jan passed. R.I.P
Jan Kuehnemund, the founding member and lead guitar player for Vixen tragically lost her battle with cancer and passed away October 10th of 2013
@@GamerRoy .... Omg, so sad ;) rip Janice Lynn kuehnemund.
i love u Janet, Jan, Roxy and Share. U all rock!
