This was the only concert I was waiting for! The best female band ever kicking ass in Wacken 2023 and Im so happy I wasnt the band to follow up! Vixen ruled and truly conquered Wacken this year! I saw Vixen a few years ago in a little concert hall in Wendover, Utah. They came with Slaughter. I was fully expecting Slaughter to just be the better band. Boy did these amazing ladies put me in my place. Not only were they absolutely amazing, they destroyed Slaughter in every way possible. Sound, vocals, stage presence, everything. Made me a life long fan after that show.
Not knowing about this band, I said to see what it was like, and I really liked it. These girls (and the man on the keyboard) play fantastically! Their energy on stage is great!
I saw Lorraine Lewis years ago at a real small club/hall in New Mexico Before Femme Fatale was signed. it's so good to still hear her sing and doing what she's so good at!

Vixen was the first all female rock group I watched in concert when they opened for Ozzy Osbourne in Irvine, CA. It was a great show specially Roxy Petrucci's drum solo. Their first 2 albums are my favorites.These days my favorite group is LOVEBITES. They are from Japan and perform all the songs in english. All the five musicians in the group are super talented. I anxiously wait for them to tour America hopefully next year. 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺

I was more on the softer side. I was a fan of the Donnas and now my new favourite is BAND-MAID, also from Japan. Neverless I saw Fate Gear last month and tomorrow it is Hanabie's turn in Frankfurt, but that is really hard stuff, both from Japan as well. Apropos LOVEBITES: played Wacken 2018 and grows on me.

The two younger ladies the bass and guitar player i really don't know but i think if i'm correct the girl playing the lead guitar is the lead guitarist for Alice cooper. Its Vixen so what if not all original members are not in the band. They sound good and they stick with the original sound all it matters. Not all original members can't be there maybe because they have family, health issues or they have other careers to tend to that's outside the music business. As you know the original lead guitarist passed away awhile back so their are only three of them left and the drummer is still kicking ass on the drums till this day and holding the band together. They are all in their 60s already what do you expect and still kicking it live!

The band has gone through a lot of changes since the beginning but all the ladies have been very talented and the songs classics that will never die. Seen numerous shows since the 80's and plan to see numerous shows in the future. Keep rocking ladies!
I am old enough to have bought the two first albums by Vixen when the original band was still active. This is a completely different band, with only one originall member left.

I am Japanese. In a Japanese program, SHOW-YA introduced vixen as a female band that had an impact on me. I was also shocked when I learned about vixen through that. Since then, I have loved vixen. It is sad to see that there is only one original member left. The vocalist is the singer of Femme Fatale, right?

Saw Vixen in 1992 and they were excellent. It's hard to reconcile this band as Vixen, but they still sound good. My favourite female band these days (and possibly my favourite band of all) is Lovebites, from Japan, playing European-style metal with English lyrics. Anyone here who hasn't heard of them should check them out.

Oh wow. Seen lots of live vids of Vixen over the years but this performance looks and sounds soooo highly charged. Brit looks like shes about to set that guitar on fire. Vixen have always sounded tight, but this performance was rigid tight. Vocally much better too. Its a shame that Roxy is the only original member still in the band but this this current lineup is firing hard on all cylinders 🔥 these ladies really know how to rock!!

@ontherunjg The audience was fans of another time and genre. Most probably, the majority were not even born in the 80s. Their fans (me included) need doctor clearance before attending the event. Hahahhaha.

Oh wow. Seen lots of live vids of Vixen over the years but this performance looks and sounds soooo highly charged. Brit looks like shes about to set that guitar on fire. Vixen have always sounded tight, but this performance was rigid tight. Vocally much better too. Its a shame that Roxy is the only original member still in the band but this this current lineup is firing hard on all cylinders 🔥 these ladies really know how to rock!!
