Facts there's an old adage that mortality is a gift because if we were immortal its guaranteed that eventually you are going to get trapped places for very long periods of time. Under boulders , deep ocean pressure, ice as you say, Mr immortal is going to see the underneath of a mountain for most his existence.
In a couple billion years the sun will expand and swallow the Earth. So if he doesn’t escape the planet before then he’s going to get very hot until the sun runs out of energy, and then he’ll just float in space forever.
