In fact in dlc that's confirmed to be what happened as its mentioned in future past and the fe fates dlc that thats what happened. They used marvel universe logic changing the past doesn't change your future just creates an alternate universe

As a link main I still felt like I actually did something when my boy was able to block the death beams for a bit

He only lost because one of them pushed his shield, making him lost balance. But, he was the only one that defended himself against it. The others were caught almost right away, except Kirby.

Sonic could've easily outran Galeem, to an extent, Galeem basically consumed the universe. So yeah, at that moment Sonic was easily capable of outrunning Galeem, but he would've been caught eventually. Not because he was too slow, but because it was inevitable.

@@DeltathRiylaanI kid you not, I had the same exact reaction to hearing him for the first time. It sounded really weird and fake, so I wrote him off at first. Turns out he has a really thick french accent and it comes across strangely in his singing, but honestly, his voice has grown on me and I like his cover as much as the original.

Also the ending credits for Smash Ultimate prove that this game has been planned for since brawl as A) The pillar of colored flames is from FD Brawl and FD Universe/Planet (My name for Sm4sh)'s backgrounds. Not to mention the blue light that was in the opening cinematic where galeem pulls a Thanos is featured in Subspace Emissary when Master Hand frees themselves from Tabuu, as on the floor instead of red blood is blue light that vanishes once MH gets back up only to be given the good ol Fox Shine from tabuu. This also means this might be the last smash game as im sure Sakurai hadnt planned for any further smash game considering it was planned since Brawl with this evidence.

but how would a smash bros anime work? if it just focuses on a small party people would complain their main isn't there, but with so many fighters it would be insane to focus all of them. maybe it could be an episodic thing where a small group have shenanigans with an overarching story stringing them together leading to a battle to save to world of smash.
Za Blade Storm It could be similar to the universe survival arc of dragon ball super involving teams fighting for their universe in which the winning world gets to survive while the others are destroyed. Some fighters are giving their best to protect the things they love, some are partaking for fun while the protagonists(Kirby, Mario, Link etc// are trying to fight against the tournament's directors(Nintendo?) and save the multiverse as a whole. The story could start with Kirby fighting multiple opponents to get them to join his cause.
The risk is, standing up to the directors will only just antagonise them and put them at risk of having their own world's destroyed and them in the process so many are reluctant to join. The thought that they'll have to kill individuals to save the masses would create a pretty dramatic story.

What I really came to love about this song:
A month after I grabbed it at release in Japan, 2 days after my bday, my fiancée and I were nearly killed by a drunk driver.
The entire time in recovery, I played smash and kept listening to this. I started working out slowly and handling the bills, and the song became an anthem of clinging to life and bringing the fight back when nearly all was taken away.
