This entire medley does such a great job at celebrating what Smash Ultimate was always meant to be, a celebration of gaming as a whole; every single person involved in this masterpiece did an AMAZING job! (Still can't believe you got Grant Kirkhope and Pascal) Ending this off with Lifelight was a very good decision, the realization of how far Smash has gotten started to hit VERY hard during it, this medley's Lifelight rendition is also absolutely incredible (shoutouts to the Mii Plaza arrangement at 13:51 for both sounding great and including Megalovania, the Sans Costume and its reveal are still some of the funniest parts of Ultimate)

The fact collabs like this ever even come to be is insane. I keep coming back to this cuz the way all these artists managed to work together and create such a perfectly flowing medley is incredible.
The last bit, with the AMAZING Lifelight arrangement and everyone saying "Super Smash Brothers" at the end, gave me chills! Great work to everyone who worked so hard on this! The entire medley is so cool!
Just noticed something World of Light is where you have to rescue everyone else from Galeem (Light) and Dharkron (Darkness). The true ending is where you need to balance the two. Isn't that the plot of Kingdom Hearts?
I love this, and it helps me imagine different interpretations Mario - on-brand simplicity given Italian herbs and spices DK - Primal Power Pushing forward Link - the village kid just started his quest PS Samus - triumphant space music Dark Samus - antihero vibes Yoshi - happy raptors having a great time dancing in the mountains Kirby - primitive, childlike innocence, but still capable of unseen doom Fox - flying out for a mission Pikachu - Red is like 22 and takes his pikachu with him to go do adulthood with his friends and it's cool Luigi - overshadowed, yet with beautiful Italiano Overtones Ness - probably just some comfy kid doing normal wacky stuff Falcon - drifting like he's jealous of eurobeat Jigglypuff - surprisingly intense! Peach - fancy without going too ancient Daisy - outgoing, extroverted, and bouncy! Bowser - less of a rageful piece, but maybe he's just the big tough Koopa overlord who likes smoking his opponents literally and yeeting hammers Ice Climber - A chill yet on-your-toes mix, like you might be climbing an icy mountain. Sheik - Really gives off a sharp and daring vibe, adding to the mystery that-- Zelda - she's completely trustworthy, and wants you to be ok. Dr. Mario - bouncy, but still feels like an actual doctor's office tune Pichu - a lot like the pikachu, but feels more energetic and wild. Falco - a different take on the same duties Marth - combat-ready warrior Lucina - similar, yet more elegant in performance Young Link - feels like happy 90s rock, which he'd probably listen to Ganondorf - ominous. Mewtwo - given the anger of this artifice, it really shows here, as does his sheer output. Roy - feels like a rather intense struggle above fatal drop distance Chrom - feels like a little more happy of a quest G&W - simple, but also sneakily overlooked Meta Knight - edgy attacker being mysterious! Pit - feels somewhat biblical! Dark Pit - feels like a mustsche twirl of an adversary! ZSS - a lot more dangerous of a mission with a lot of baggage. Kinda like actually! Wario - absolutely gamer music by game dev who smells like garlic, remixed by best Scissorheaded Musician. Snake - feels like the intro to a crime drama about a spy. Kinda as if that's somewhat the idea Ike - feels much more like he trained in seclusion Pokémon Trainer - Red finally stepped to the gym scene Diddy - a little monkey just doing his best, and he's comfy. Lucas - feels super capitalistic and like a cash grab, which kinda fits the things thay happened to his world! I like it Sonic - a chill hedgehog, who can still outpace anyone, but doesn't always feel like he has to Dedede - an angry penguin who wanted his order 5 minutes ago!! Olimar - enjoys gardening too much to care, and it's rather cute and funny Lucario - Dawn is stuck on the elevator with her lucario and a latte. ROB - "The machines rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire, and they wanted to play." Toon Link - so joyous and energetic it feels almost exaggerated like a cartoon Wolf - Vengeance on the mind. Why? I don't know. Villager - a comfy, jazzy home, and he's ready to take out the trash Mega Man - a synthetic kid about to throw down with his plasma-powered hands for justice almost like a movie score Wii Fit Trainer - it feels almost like it's a workout routine that they made into the song. Rosalina - free feeling. able to jet across the universe is fun, I'd bet!! Little Mac - a boxer coming back to train, knowing he's got a score to settle and this could be it. Greninja - a trainer enters the big time gyms Mii - feels like a festive celebration! Palutena - feels like she's upset or worried about something Pac-Man - the holy yellow orb descended from the gods to get lunch Robin - feels like he's about to defeat a new threat Shulk - he's REALLY feeling it. Bowser Jr. - the perfect chaotic kid energy Duck Hunt - nice metal for hunting by Ryu - he seems sad or reluctant about something, perhaps it's Ken - zipping in to fight! Cloud - this feels like how I'd imagine Advent Children Cloud feels walking into PS1 Midgar Corrin - feels like a bittersweet prayer before battle Bayonetta - funky as funk Inklings - i think if a splation pizza party Ridley - Ridley, with a beanie, coffee, glasses, and yet still gonna zap ya Simon Belmont - He knows who doesn't belong in this world. Richter Belmont - He doesn't like when souls are stolen, and maken slaves. K Rool - evolved from pirates to contraband sellers Isabelle - a cute secretary who has had enough of her day job Incineroar - tropical torching tackles Plant - sounds like a real funky flower that I'd be down with anytime Joker - you may never see it coming, this jazz is no joke. Hero - feels truly like a heroic tale of old Banjo n Kazooie - a jolly ol' time with Dad on kazoo apparently! Terry - A real pounding of muscle that reminds me of Guts Man Byleth - anime tropes at this point, eh? Min Min - well yeah. Steve - builds a real foundation, literally Sephiroth - doing a planetary worldender a service Mythra n Pyra - pretty lighthearted romp around for two neat companions Kazuya - ANGER. He's gonna take the Hashima name with him to the grave. Waluigi*, who feels like a Disney character. nice Lifelight - POWERFUL. This was really the ultimate tribute, wasn't it?
This feels like, not only a love letter to the Smash Community, but a nice send off to Sakurai and his team for all of their hard work. Amazing work from everyone involved!
The ending rendition of "Lifelifght" made me cry. I love smash so much, it has literally been the one staple game and I've boughten every single game on release day; so many great members of the community and I've made so many friends along the way, I remember playing smash melee back in 2001 and not thinking how far the franchise would come, how minimal and how little content we had, local tourneys for competitive, to this😖😭.
This is my first time seeing this, and I’m gonna say this: THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MEDLEYS I HAVE EVER SEEN/HEARD IN MY LIFE. The amount of effort and passion that went into this is just incredible beyond words, and everyone absolutely did a fantastic job contributing to this epic project. Not to mention the transitions are absolutely clean as hell, and the transition between Steve and Sephiroth has got to be my favorite. I have nothing much to say, this is just epic. Too epic for words! Masterpiece!!!
I purposefully waited until the end to comment this. Words cannot describe how amazing this medley is... So many good artists...the remixes had me grinning from ear to ear...and the Lifelight cover had me in tears. 😭 I'm always a sucker for medleys, but man...I enjoyed every second of this. VERY, VERY well done.
I guess we can all agree this is the ULTIMATE smash bross video Afterall, everyone is here, to appreciate this masterpiece, good job everybody! P.S.: these mega collabs seem so fun, maybe one day I'll be prepared enough to participate in one, who knows I'm really happy for how we could be here all together to listen the melodies and songs of a fighting game that connected everyone in a way that no one will ever forget Thank you NoteBlock

This was seriously SUCH an honor to be a part of, I cannot believe how many people are in this! You guys did a FANTASTIC job coordinating a medley to this scale and caliber, you deserve all the kudos!!
I’ve always thought the Ultimate intro was missing the announcer saying “Super Smash Bros!” So everyone saying that at the end of Lifelight was extremely epic. Awesome collab!
24:15 & 26:13 Thank you for giving the fans another spotlight in a remix! I remember when Deltarune Chapter 1 first released and you let fans sing Don't Forget & I contributed with my terrible phone microphone. Now I actually make content and have a real mic and facecam to contribute in a better way! The portrait is super small because of everyone else there, but I'm wearing my Etika Red Robin Shirt with the JoyconBoyz Shirt in the background. Etika had a big impact on my life, and if it weren't for him I wouldn't be the Smash fan I am now. I played it growing up, but became a FAN because of him. I think it took me more time to write down each contributor to add to my subscription list than to listen to this awesome collab. I look forward to explore each and every one of these musicians.
You can’t just throw the slow part of the Melee theme in right after the first verse of Lifelight! That is 100% guaranteed to kick me in the feelings!! Along with all the smash themes flowing into each other at the end. Good job.
I just love how the music suddenly drops into Minecraft, then cuts to Sephiroth burning down the entire fuckin' village. Also props for getting official composers onto the collab!

Once Again, EXCELLENT MEDLEY GUYS!!
You are awesome! Thank you!
@@Parahelion You're welcome!
The fact collabs like this ever even come to be is insane. I keep coming back to this cuz the way all these artists managed to work together and create such a perfectly flowing medley is incredible.
Holy crap, this is amazing!!
Everyone did an awesome job!
So true
Hey, I ran into you again! Looks like we have the same taste in music lol 😆 And yeah, this video is amazing.
This medley and the sheer talent of all the musicians involved is "too big for Smash"
The last bit, with the AMAZING Lifelight arrangement and everyone saying "Super Smash Brothers" at the end, gave me chills! Great work to everyone who worked so hard on this! The entire medley is so cool!
The tonal shift from Minmin to Steve and then to Sephiroth is hilarious XD
Just noticed something
World of Light is where you have to rescue everyone else from Galeem (Light) and Dharkron (Darkness).
The true ending is where you need to balance the two. Isn't that the plot of Kingdom Hearts?
Sora was truly the perfect way to end Smash (well end for now)
I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING OMGGG UR RIGHT SMASH IS SO AMAZING AAAAAAAAAAA
@@frostbitlion1727 you hear a silent but discernable 'WAHH' come from the nearest tennis court.

Falcon - drifting like he's jealous of eurobeat
Jigglypuff - surprisingly intense!
Peach - fancy without going too ancient
Daisy - outgoing, extroverted, and bouncy!
Bowser - less of a rageful piece, but maybe he's just the big tough Koopa overlord who likes smoking his opponents literally and yeeting hammers
Ice Climber - A chill yet on-your-toes mix, like you might be climbing an icy mountain.
Sheik - Really gives off a sharp and daring vibe, adding to the mystery that--
Zelda - she's completely trustworthy, and wants you to be ok.
Dr. Mario - bouncy, but still feels like an actual doctor's office tune
Pichu - a lot like the pikachu, but feels more energetic and wild.
Falco - a different take on the same duties
Marth - combat-ready warrior
Lucina - similar, yet more elegant in performance
Young Link - feels like happy 90s rock, which he'd probably listen to
Ganondorf - ominous.
Mewtwo - given the anger of this artifice, it really shows here, as does his sheer output.
Roy - feels like a rather intense struggle above fatal drop distance
Chrom - feels like a little more happy of a quest
G&W - simple, but also sneakily overlooked
Meta Knight - edgy attacker being mysterious!
Kinda as if that's somewhat the idea
Ike - feels much more like he trained in seclusion
Pokémon Trainer - Red finally stepped to the gym scene
Diddy - a little monkey just doing his best, and he's comfy.
Lucas - feels super capitalistic and like a cash grab, which kinda fits the things thay happened to his world! I like it
Sonic - a chill hedgehog, who can still outpace anyone, but doesn't always feel like he has to
Dedede - an angry penguin who wanted his order 5 minutes ago!!
Olimar - enjoys gardening too much to care, and it's rather cute and funny

ROB - "The machines rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire, and they wanted to play."
Toon Link - so joyous and energetic it feels almost exaggerated like a cartoon
Wolf - Vengeance on the mind. Why? I don't know.
Villager - a comfy, jazzy home, and he's ready to take out the trash
Mega Man - a synthetic kid about to throw down with his plasma-powered hands for justice almost like a movie score
Wii Fit Trainer - it feels almost like it's a workout routine that they made into the song.
Rosalina - free feeling. able to jet across the universe is fun, I'd bet!!
Little Mac - a boxer coming back to train, knowing he's got a score to settle and this could be it.
Greninja - a trainer enters the big time gyms
Mii - feels like a festive celebration!
Palutena - feels like she's upset or worried about something
Pac-Man - the holy yellow orb descended from the gods to get lunch

Shulk - he's REALLY feeling it.
Bowser Jr. - the perfect chaotic kid energy
Duck Hunt - nice metal for hunting by
Ryu - he seems sad or reluctant about something, perhaps it's

Corrin - feels like a bittersweet prayer before battle
Bayonetta - funky as funk
Inklings - i think if a splation pizza party
Ridley - Ridley, with a beanie, coffee, glasses, and yet still gonna zap ya

Min Min - well yeah.
Steve - builds a real foundation, literally
Sephiroth - doing a planetary worldender a service
Mythra n Pyra - pretty lighthearted romp around for two neat companions
Kazuya - ANGER. He's gonna take the Hashima name with him to the grave.
Waluigi*, who feels like a Disney character. nice
Lifelight - POWERFUL. This was really the ultimate tribute, wasn't it?
This feels like, not only a love letter to the Smash Community, but a nice send off to Sakurai and his team for all of their hard work. Amazing work from everyone involved!

i agree
You are good at smash GetMadz
Rehehehe
god, 19:56 hits SO HARD with the amazing vocals and jazzy remix, really pulled on my heartstrings with that one.
I did not except that
22:24 most people admire the singing, but i admire the sheer amount of amiibos.
man i would kill to have that many amiibos
I don't even have one :)
@@Pixiuchu I only have a Pikachu one lmao
@@azukatie I have a sonic one and I’m more than happy (though i mostly use it as a display in my room)
@@azukatie I only have a Mario and greninja but i'm happy with them
That was cool. My favorite part is that you actually got Grant to play at the Banjo Kazooie part.
If it isn't too much of a *dizzying* endeavor, the amazing Yoshi remix at 1:40 deserves to be its own full piece.
Thanks for having me and so many folks, Smash is the best way to introduce people to amazing games and now this medley will too!
So happy I got to take part in this! It turned out great!
Literal chills from that Lifelight rendition
The Banjo-Kazzoie part with Grant Kirkhope was amazing. I'm crying. 😢
yeah
The ending rendition of "Lifelifght" made me cry. I love smash so much, it has literally been the one staple game and I've boughten every single game on release day; so many great members of the community and I've made so many friends along the way, I remember playing smash melee back in 2001 and not thinking how far the franchise would come, how minimal and how little content we had, local tourneys for competitive, to this😖😭.
This is my first time seeing this, and I’m gonna say this:
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MEDLEYS I HAVE EVER SEEN/HEARD IN MY LIFE.
I'm always a sucker for medleys, but man...I enjoyed every second of this. VERY, VERY well done.
Nostalgia trip at it’s finest!
Amazing job to all the musicians 💪💪💪❤️

I guess we can all agree this is the ULTIMATE smash bross video
Afterall, everyone is here, to appreciate this masterpiece, good job everybody!
P.S.: these mega collabs seem so fun, maybe one day I'll be prepared enough to participate in one, who knows
I'm really happy for how we could be here all together to listen the melodies and songs of a fighting game that connected everyone in a way that no one will ever forget
Thank you NoteBlock
This medley is amazing, I listen to it on replay=

#23-24 Ganondorf into Mewtwo, insane synergy there, transitioned so well. I wish there was an entire victory road song of its own like this!
I would love to see full length renditions of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE! They're all soo good!
Agreed, it will be perfect for my collection of music to listen to.

Mewtwos segment would be great extended
@@MRVNgotEM I find it funny how that's the pokemon RSE victory road theme, then it became rayquaza's theme, then mewtwo's theme. Such a bop tho
@@bestberryj I already know it’s the Ruby/Saphire Victory road theme but I was saying Mewtwos segment cause it was the music inside of mewtwos segment
To me Gen 3 is best so I will always remember Victory road
It was such an honour to be a part of this experience! Everyone here seriously brought their A-game and it shows! Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of this! And also a standing ovation for the stellar editing work as well the arrangement for us to work with!
seeing Grant kirkhope himself join in on a kazoo for banjo Kazooie tho
the medley is AMAZING but whos grant kirkhope

when that little melee part came in during the lifelight cover, i won’t lie i got emotional
I’ve always thought the Ultimate intro was missing the announcer saying “Super Smash Bros!” So everyone saying that at the end of Lifelight was extremely epic. Awesome collab!
16:27 I sobbed at Corrin’s theme. It was beautiful
I dont even like Fire Emblem but damn this is amazing
absolutely an honour to be a part of this! everyone here is amazingly talented and it’s so cool to see it all come together 🥰🥰🥰
Your part of the song was sooooooo good, love to you all the way
24:15 & 26:13 Thank you for giving the fans another spotlight in a remix! Oh boy, I love-a my unmodded copy of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.
Is that Yahiamice?
Ok the whole thing was phenomenal but that ending where they all intoned "SUPER... SNAAAAAASH BROTHERSSSSSSSS" absolutely gave me chills. Excellent.
That Steve -> Sephiroth transition is fucking brilliant
thrilled to be a part of this! seeing everything in context gave me chills, loved experiencing it with everyone!
