6 years later, this cover really hits really hard given recent events in the anime, I will admit that I did shed a few tears listening to it. After 25 years, Ash actually did it, he really did become the very best.

Lmao, when a show goes for this long and you have so many different directors, its hard to know what will come, some directors wanted him to age (the one in XY even said that when he gorws up he'ss marry Serena) then the newest directors want him to stay forever 10 years old, so who knows.
For all we know, Pokemon Horizons could just be the story of another pair of trainers, while Ash is still 10 years old, and he could very much not be an adult in that series but unfortunately I think Ash being an adult is going to be true 😢😢, we've come so far with Ash on his journey to become a Pokémon Master while experiencing the laughter, friends, rivalries, sacrifices and all the memories that were made along the way, to think we went from Ash first getting Pikachu as his starter to being a legend known by people from all around the globe, unfortunately every chapter eventually has to come to a close. R.I.P to Ash Ketchum, Jessie, James, and Meowth. Gone but not forgotten, you will always have a place in our hearts, cheers to the true mad lads of the world of Pokemon "as the journey continues..."
If these two were actual characters in a Pokémon game, I'd guess that Amalee's character would be named Melody and Nathan's own would be Sharp. You know what I mean?
Out of all the covers, this one is my fave. The others are great but this one sound more unique and graceful. I imagine the hard rock covers for trainers and recent trainers all pumped up, loves battles, and want to be the best while I imagine with this song an experienced trainer who has traveled and seen so much for the longest time with their most trusted best friend Pokémon; they stand on a high point, ready to capture a rare Pokémon that stood in front of them.
The duet/harmonizing is what really does it for me. After hearing this version, I'm never going to be able to listen to the original and not think it could be a *bit* better.

This theme has been so nostalgic to me, but at the same time, I felt a bit indifferent to it after a while, but you actually managed to form it into something amazing enough to send chills down my spine and bring me on the verge of tears because of all the memories I was getting, especially with the visuals added as the cherry on top! Beautiful job! (Also the Jigglypuff from above was a hilarious reference! Loved it!)

Lmao, when a show goes for this long and you have so many different directors, its hard to know what will come, some directors wanted him to age (the one in XY even said that when he gorws up he'ss marry Serena) then the newest directors want him to stay forever 10 years old, so who knows.
For all we know, Pokemon Horizons could just be the story of another pair of trainers, while Ash is still 10 years old, and he could very much not be an adult in that series but unfortunately I think Ash being an adult is going to be true 😢😢, we've come so far with Ash on his journey to become a Pokémon Master while experiencing the laughter, friends, rivalries, sacrifices and all the memories that were made along the way, to think we went from Ash first getting Pikachu as his starter to being a legend known by people from all around the globe, unfortunately every chapter eventually has to come to a close. R.I.P to Ash Ketchum, Jessie, James, and Meowth. Gone but not forgotten, you will always have a place in our hearts, cheers to the true mad lads of the world of Pokemon "as the journey continues..."

Out of all the covers, this one is my fave. The others are great but this one sound more unique and graceful. I imagine the hard rock covers for trainers and recent trainers all pumped up, loves battles, and want to be the best while I imagine with this song an experienced trainer who has traveled and seen so much for the longest time with their most trusted best friend Pokémon; they stand on a high point, ready to capture a rare Pokémon that stood in front of them.
The duet/harmonizing is what really does it for me. After hearing this version, I'm never going to be able to listen to the original and not think it could be a *bit* better.
