Hey gang! I wanted to let you know that I posted this song to honor my friend. Which is why half if not more of the proceeds will be going to the Colon Cancer Coalition. Billy sang for this song over a year ago, and I kept putting off doing it because I wasn't happy with my portion of the singing. So I kept redoing and redoing it and before I knew it everything happened. I'm sorry I didn't finish it sooner. I love you buddy and I'll do everything I can to honor you every day. We will remember him. His character Naofumi in Rising of the Shield Hero may be hated by the people in the world he was brought to, but we will always love Billy's portrayal of Naofumi. I'm glad to have experienced his talent.

First, I hesitate to call even Leon a champion, and second, Geeta wasn't really the actual Champion battle, Nemona was. If anything, it was the Elite 4.5 and then the real Champion.
@IronManJA Geeta doesn't count because she isn't as difficult as even the Elite 4. Even if it's a personal thing, Geeta has never KOd one of my Pokemon while the Elite 4 and Nemona have KOd at least one. Plus, Geeta doesn't really strategize or make good moves during her battle. I can say I struggled against her the first time through, but Nemona still ended up giving me far more of a challenge, and I'm sure that's the same for some other people. Plus, Geeta never has that overpowering feel to her, while the Elite 4 and Nemona do to a certain extent. Facing Geeta feels more like a chore than an actual battle really.
Ash has came a long way, from losing his first battle against Brok to winning his greatest against Leon. He truly has became the very best like no one every was. Thank you Pokémon.

Kinda funny that I found out now that Billy did a cover of the Pokemon theme song because he voiced Naofumi in Rising of the Shield Hero and in Season 2, when he gets Raph-chan, it looked like Naofumi was getting his starter Pokemon.
The thing that made me emotional is that they chose Leon and Blue as their images. And that their characters are champions. Basically saying that Billy was a champion. AND HE IS A CHAMPION! This song will always be a classic and I will never get tired of singing it! I really like the two characters used for this song, Leon and Gary/Blue, those two makes sense due to the connection between Ash and the two VA's that voice them. Gary/Blue being One of Ash's oldest and greatest rivals and Leon, the very person Ash defeated to finally become World Champion. Congrats to Ash for becoming the World Champion and Rest in Peace Billy Kametz, an amazing Voice Actor and I will never the work that he has done.
