Thank you for posting, it worked for me. Didn't know why my phone screen stopped working, I had to press the home button, the power button, home buttn, pwr bttn, etc. It would dim, look hazy, and then go black. I used the brush technique and that fixed it. Thanks again.

can anyone tell me why i had these lines on my iphone with colors ? i was holding the phone in my hand and out of no were they popped up and my screen turned off and the home bottom locked . it wouldn’t power on unless i pressed the down volume botton and the power button at the same time

Did you use magnifying glasses to do all this. I found once I opened my phone it was all so tiny. I could barely see the screws

Hi i'm currently having this problem vertical lines keep on showing but power button when I clicked that's what it shows also no longer touching the screen, I think this will help me but I don't have gut to try this by my self.
Oh my gosh thanks. It worked! But i lost two screws and damaged and replaced my battery in the process. Not to mention it took 1 hour for me to remove the LCD and another one hour to get the home button wire connected. Hahaha

Also I wanna mention that if u have lost that bracket which holds the flex cable connections then you won’t be able to get good results cause the bracket puts pressure on it that’s why it works fine

If this doesn’t work it probably means the lcd cable has to be replaced, this should work, it has worked for me, you can also try to push on the top right of the screen but be VERY CAREFUL to not brake the the screen

@@palmietteduquartier8330 I mean probably, but a replacement screen for a xr cost $100 usd and I’m finding prices for xr’s at $300 usd so I mean if you don’t wanna risk breaking it more you can take it to an apple store to see if they can fit it (unless it’s water damage) or just buy a new one bc it’s only $200 usd more than buying a new screen
