So would 99% of that generation in every position haha that's dumb to say. People are always getting bigger faster stronger. Different rules different game.
@@aaronsatterwhite7471 not true. The QB position is one that can be compared over decades. Their main job is to run the offense and throw the ball. Bradshaw would not be elite in todays game. He wasn't elite in his prime. He was surrounded by the greatest talent in NFL history.
He was asked a question. He answered it. Old School versus Young Guns. 4-4 in Super Bowls back when Super Bowls meant something. The League was much stronger. If you grew up in that era, you have your own reality and in it, people like Aaron Rogers were considered weak. That is all.
I think Packers should do what Rodgers says. Then hold a press conference to announce the players they've cut to stay under the cap. Every other player restructured their contracts for the betterment of the team to pursue a championship. Rodgers was the only player to not do so and who continues to refuse outright.
He wanted an extension for this actual reason - to reduce his cap hit and free up money, as well as guarantee a future at GB he has control over. They only offered a paltry restructure where he could still be traded next season or whenever GB felt like it until recently where they’ve begged him to stay. They have treated him horribly for years so I don’t blame him at all. You can see the toll it’s taken on him and it pains me as a GB fan. The front office has been a mess for years so I don’t blame A Rod for one second; in fact I respect him more for finally standing up for himself.

Watson was in a crappy situation with the Texans too though I think the reason people aren’t defending him as much personally is because of the pending court case. People can’t really form opinions there until that’s all been resolved. But it was pretty clear to me when a guy like JJ was as upset as he was and left Houston what happened.

Aaron is more fun to watch do his job than Brady, or Bradshaw ever will be! That comment says more about Bradshaw than Rogers. Time for retirement, Terry!

You do That with people who care what others think. He does not
@@winstoncannady4224 you might be surprised
He wanted an extension for this actual reason - to reduce his cap hit and free up money, as well as guarantee a future at GB he has control over. They only offered a paltry restructure where he could still be traded next season or whenever GB felt like it until recently where they’ve begged him to stay. They have treated him horribly for years so I don’t blame him at all. You can see the toll it’s taken on him and it pains me as a GB fan. The front office has been a mess for years so I don’t blame A Rod for one second; in fact I respect him more for finally standing up for himself.
@@Friala oh so now you guys believe the owners/front office is the enemy of the players. Watson tried to tell you that earlier this year. Now Rodgers wants respect every one now comes to HIS defense
@@winstoncannady4224 what? I’m just talking about GBs situation. A Rod has been in the league a lot longer than Watson and has dealt with this crap most of his career. I’ve hated the Packers front office since 2014 frankly. Their decisions got worse and worse. Watson was in a crappy situation with the Texans too though I think the reason people aren’t defending him as much personally is because of the pending court case. People can’t really form opinions there until that’s all been resolved. But it was pretty clear to me when a guy like JJ was as upset as he was and left Houston what happened.
Terry would have run for that pylon
Terry wouldn’t of been down because of that hof defense that Carried him his whole career

I heard Bradshaw talk on the herd.Bradshaw comes from a time where players were players and managers were managers. Part of the problem here is the misinformation. Bradshaw was commenting about allegedly wanting the GM fired which turned out to not be true.
Aaron Rogers & Trent Dilfer have the same amount of Super Bowl rings.
Bradshaw is just jealous that new qbs make more than he ever did. he just feels like they should grateful, regardless how crappy the situation is.
This is the pot callin the kettle black if I've ever seen it.. Bradshaw has more Super Bowl rings than brain cells.
@@ryansreaction and? That just goes to show that the more skilled QBs don't always have more rings. A great QB can take you a long way but it takes a team effort to win it all.
@@chriss.2978 Or maybe some styles of quarterbacking are more effective in the biggest moments than others eh? Guys like Eli or Foles might not put up the regular season numbers but I'd rather have them than Rodgers when the games matter, and it's because of their mentality and approach to the position not just raw talent. Talent can get you wins, but talent is not the end-all to winning. Otherwise Randy Moss, T.O, Favre ect would have multiple rings, and Brady wouldnt have any.

As a Packers fan I agree due to the speculation, he needs to make a statement. If its all true Terry is right.
Terry Bradshaw should just evaluate his own situation! He had a Hall of fame offense and defense to back him up!
Yea but so did Montana, and in fairness to Bradshaw, his head coach never said he could win a superbowl with any qb, trade him, and then win another superbowl with another qb.. Though I maintain Bradshaw isn't an idiot, he just says dumb things to get people talking. His name probably has more hits in google today, than all of the last 3 years. No such thing as bad press.
So did Rodgers when he won his SB. Calm down bud
Uhhh Terry is getting PAID to give opinions dude. You know like that's his JOB DESCRIPTION?
And had all the super bowl records until the former goat Montana came Or does that not matter?
Terry Bradshaw is what you get if JaMarcus Russel had the greatest defense of all time, two HoF Wrs, and a HoF RB.
The roots to the situation are: 1) Releasing Jordy Nelson (Aaron thinks: if you let my best WR go, why not draft someone to replace him?) 2) Not bringing Alex Van Pelt back.
Justin Herbert accounted for 36 touchdowns against 11 total turnover as a ROOKIE. Trading for Aaron Rodgers would be exactly the kind of thing I'd expect the Chargers to do.

Terry isn't totally wrong. Plus we get to hear the bias from Aaron's good buddy Pat, which is part of the problem. A lot of people are filling Aaron's head with nonsense. He has the best shot for another Super Bowl with the Packers this year or as Mahomes or Bradys backup. The Packers have a top 3 LT, RB & WR and #1 offense. He doesn't need a 1st round WR when the defense has been the problem, which they constantly try to address and have had improved at over the last 3 years. If Aaron plays at an MVP level for another year then he will hold all the cards. Right now with his age, contract & situation the front office has a slight advantage to what happens to him.
