My Opinion - Both UV Flashlights will get the job done. It's much easier to detect certain things with the 365nm since it has more UV output and less visible light. There are no differences in cheap $9.99 UV flashlights vs expensive ones if you're looking to buy it for pet stains, counterfeit money, bodily fluids. Those gigantic 25+ LED UV Flashlights are overkill.

Darkbeam sells both now, in a combo pack! So you can compare, with the same housing and battery power etc.
Hey OP, you didn’t mention the Darkbeam’s front bezel telescopes in-and-out like a trombone!! Creating a beam that either shines wide or narrow. You can shine a rather focused “spotlight” pretty far away. I’ve had great results with ravers wearing reflective material halfway across a crowd. And if you focus the beam really tight & hold it near a piece of paper, you can actually see the zig-zags of the diode itself.
I don't believe mine bezeled like that. That's pretty cool. I like the tighter beam angles.

I bought one of these 365nm flashlights, and get very little output on a double A seller says it can use a 14500 rechargeable. Does yours put out more output with a standard 3.7v 14500? I don’t want to place a 3.7v in it and fry the led?
I wouldn’t put a 14500 recharable in there, like you said it can blow out the LED on these cheaper flashlights. If you want quality, I would look into convoy S2+ w/Nichia LED or UV beast mini. If you’re looking for something compact.
What would be best for the use of UV glue and for luminous pigment?
Best would be 365nm.
365 if you're working with strontium aluminate.
Which uv light would be better for detecting mold growth or florescent dyes?
I would go with a 365nm UV light.

I have a glow in the dark Mortal Kombat Lui Kang statue that has some glow in the dark features. Does the 365nm watts matter? I bought a 20watt one and it doesnt glow for very long. Should I buy a 60watt one? Will it make it glow longer/brighter? Please help me sir...
Depends also on how long you charge it for. Although the statue glow might not hold the charge long either no matter what light you have to charge it with.

Do you think the 395 could be used to locate the yooperlite rock ?
@eva Lee it can, but it’s true colors come out using 365nm. Also, I would use the UV beast V3, if you’re yooper hunting, as it’s output is a lot stronger.

Is it a true 365nm UV light? I have a Olight i3UV EOS that I got for free, but is 395nm. I just learned that 365nm is better. Is the pink version exactly the same as the black one in your video?
It's listed as a 365nm, but its a cheap 365nm. More visible light comes out of this one vs the more quality ones. I'm not sure what you mean by Pink and black one?
Compare a 100 dollar bill with the 365 vs 395. The differance viewing the florescent strip is very different from other bills

I can't find our other conversation that we were having but we were talking to you about the 10 Watt alonefire it was supposed to be coming in on October 15th but it came in already I don't have any other flashlights to compare it to but it makes me smile when I shine it in my face makes everything purple makes lots of things glow and it makes my cat squint his eyes from across the room

@@UVBlackLights i know i just flashed it really fast to see what his reaction would be I ordered an aftermarket battery for it because I heard somewhere that if the battery wasn't really good then you would only get about 6 Watts instead of 10 so I ordered an Efest high drain 45 amp that should do the trick 😆 it'll be coming in a couple of days

@@UVBlackLightshey Fooge if that's how you spell it 😆 my Efest 40 amp High drain battery came in! It was 3.5 volts I have to charge it it's been charging for hours now and it's at 3.92 and let me tell you that battery is badass because I have a battery that is charged up to 4.32 and the 3.92 is so much brighter and hotter on my face it lights up everything so rightly I'm amazed that battery is so good I can't wait till it's charged all the way! I am still waiting on the weltool to come in between this battery and 2,060 mw towards the UV output it's going to be a good light I think I'm hoping $68 Plus the $8 for the battery that's like $76 before-tax probably $80 total especially with shipping and handling can't wait for it to come in so I can give you my opinion on it, and just to let you know about the flashlight I am talking about that I have right now it is the Alonefire 10 watt with that Efast. Oh and I also ordered some UV glue that came in today with the battery perfect timing you know the glue that gets hard with the UV light well it's not really glue it's like plastic or something

Hello! That's very odd... You should be able to no problem. Maybe try the UV Beast.

The 395 causes more of a reflection. The darker 365 not as bright. If you are looking for rocks at night, you will miss more rocks using the 365nm light. The brighter, more reflective 395nm will get a better brighter reflection plus add some visible lighting so you don’t walk off a cliff or trip over something. On stage, eh, fine - 365nm I doesn’t show purple light or allow a shadow. Me? I’d rather be able to see a little bit when it’s dark out.

Dear Sir, the claims of the products may not be accurate, it's time to get a spectrum analyser to actually test the wavelength output of the lamps you're showcasing.
then you can REALLY determine the worth of the products you're comparing and showcasing. I don't know of anyone else who does this, it would set you far apart from the herd.
These products are much cheaper, but they are in the correct spectrum.
