Hi,we miss you two ! I've made a version of this for about 30 years. I think mine has more sugar but, I spread in a quarter sheet pan so about half as thick, chill, pour melted chocolate (I like dark) to cover, then Quickly sprinkle chopped peanuts. The chocolate will crack when cut (I'm sure Alton would know what to add to fix that), so it doesn't make squares but people seem to like to be able to pick a big ol' hunk or small. Thats my favorite part, watching them turn into little kids, their eyes get big and them they go for a big piece ! I serve on a big plate, or for gifts I use pretty shirt box lined of course. @@IanMcCloghrie You can tell it's the same scene though
It could have been on a slow defrost setting or something else that would greatly reduce the potential for really damaging the phone (assuming it was a staged shot).
This guy is great. He looks like he enjoys what he’s doing. That makes it really enjoyable watching his video.
I was expecting a sewing kit at the end when he opened it.
Yeah!! The memories huh?
Omg I’m only 29 and I literally have sewing supplies in one of my leftover Danish biscuit tins because that’s just what happens when you age.
He could lift the lid 100 times and the expectation might fade but it wouldn't completely go away.
I love your recipes and content. You are a perfect personality for social media! I am a southern cook/baker and a excellent judge of a cook/baker is their recipes are weighed and you knock it out of the park🫶
Merry Christmas Alton and Elizabeth!
This is one Good Eat, Mr. Brown! Such a pleasure to still see you on my big screen.
The oops with the camera/phone and Elizabeth's cameo are priceless... That's the stuff that draws me in but the asides that merge with the running commentary are very much what has kept me since the very beginning at Good Eats. I also appreciate that these are released on Tuesdays, it helps with the withdrawal symptoms a bit. Thank you both for your time and efforts...Merry Christmas!
I've always found your shows & videos so educational & informative, yet simple. I love your detailed & scientific mind. Thank you, & Merry Christmas to you!
When I was going through a candy-making phase when I was younger, this was actually one of my favorite recipes to make! *Always got compliments!
We just love you Alton Brown ,my son really likes the scientific part about your recipes. Happy holidays
Merry, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Alton and Elizabeth!
My son made this for the family ... it tastes EXACTLY like the center of a PB cup. Well done, Alton! And thanks for the fudge. :D
Thanks for the love and support my Great fan ❤️❤️

“It’s not Good Eats after all”
Proceeds to use similar transitions and sounds from his days on Good Eats 😂
Not to mention the odd camera angles
Stick to what you know works and entertains. The Good Eats formula ain’t broken, don’t go looking to abandon it.
@@jordajh couldn’t agree more. I loved Good Eats when I was younger, been a fan of Alton Brown ever since
He uses the same shltty recipes too
@@noway974 seems a bit uncalled for
My husband and I have always loved Alton Browns shows that were on the Food Network...they were informative, fun and Interesting. So Glad to find you on Utube...hubby wants me to make your Peanut butter Fudge. We use Jif peanut butter, so Yahoo. Thanks Alton Brown !!!
"It's Christmas, live with it, ok?" Haha
'Live a little' is what I heard.💃🖖
This recipe is very close in texture and flavor to my grandma's who I never got to get the recipe from. Ive been obsessed with it since I was little and everywhere we go that sells fudge I buy some and I'm always disappointed, Thank you for letting me taste it again.
Thank you for tuning in to "The Fudge Aquatic with Alton Brown"
I actually giggle snorted.
I agree Alton, I’m not a Slippy fan either!!!! But this recipe is how my mawmaw made it. Thank you for bringing back a great memory ❤😊
Slippy, Skippy! Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏼♀️
I've been making this for years since I saw it on 'Good Eats' when it originally aired on the Food Network; easy and delicious.
My Brother in Law passed a few years ago..He always made our family his Mom's wonderful fudge..I decided this year to take up that tradition and make the fudge ..Will be doing your peanut butter and a chocolate fudge..This sounds so yummy!!
Merry Christmas to you and Elizabeth. I’m home for a Covid-19 quarantine watch. Wife had it but not me, at least not yet. This has made my day
Just made 4 batches of this.
10/10 HIGHLY recommend!
I just made this with almond butter (the no-stir, doesn't separate kind) and OMG it is amazing! Thank you for the inspiration.
🙄
The legend lives on! The iconic show continues from the comfort of his home,
He gets to be himself even more!
Thank you!
This is the first time I’ve watched you Alton and I was very entertained and informed, what a simple fudge recipe!. You’ve gained another subscriber and I’m looking forward to more of your festive treats. Great work mate
He used to have a show called Good Eats. He would cook and also talk about the ingredients. It was a good show.
If you go looking for more of his recipes, you've got 20+years of his unique way of cooking to explore.
Hey @Alton brown and co, not only do I have my own cooking channel, I sell my own cinnamon buns at the local arena and gas stations! Soon I will be selling to a few more rinks. Watching you as I grew up, made me love to cook even more., Thank you
There have been a lot of celebrity chef's that have come and gone but you reinvent yourself over and over. You're better than ever. Thank you for the inspiration!
Love how he says to touch the squares by the edges but then lovingly pats the tops 😁
Thanks for the love and support my Great fan ❤️❤️

Alton using a microwave to make pb fudge?!?! I'm shocked 😂 Way to go Alton; no fuss no muss. Looks yummy! Thanks!
Still lovin’ ya after all these years!! Thank you for this super easy recipe!! ❤
This brought back so many memories from being a kid and watching your show. I was looking for a fudge recipe and came across this ❤
I was diagnosed w. diabetes 2 a few months ago and I was determined not to stick myself. So food management intake it was. I researched what I could and should eat. Peanut butter was a surprising OK. In 72 yrs I have not been a peanut butter fan, except for peanut butter cookies and pb fudge. I have also like Alton found that JIF tastes the absolute best. I can now snack on a teaspoon of it once in awhile. I have always loved Alton Brown. Cheers to all.
To me he’s the best celebrity chef
I find this recipe of yours some time ago. I made it that first day. Now I'm expected to make it every year. I give it out as gifts.
I tried this the other night and it came out fantastic! This is now one off my go to recipes for a quick and easy dessert that will have guests raving!
I've been making this for years. A friend from work said it was the best fudge ever.
Made this last night and it's a HIT! Will be making it again and again and again!!!
I've made this recipe for years. It's the absolute best... beats any cooked PB fudge recipe by a hundred miles.
You caught that microwave just in time, theres a frame in there where the image distorts and goes black haha
The dudes in tv, and you don't think that's vfx.
@@BenderTheBoiler no I dont because its unnecessary
You can also use the wrappers from the butter to line the pan before pouring in the good stuff. Love your recipes!
Alton, you’re too much and so cool! I love watching you cook!! So entertaining and educational. Who thought learning could ever be so fun.
Good to see Alton Brown still cooking.
Thank you Alton,
Oh my gosh! So glad to see Alton Brown back, doing his thing!!! I have learned so much from him!
Alton Brown is pure genius on EVERY level. He's never let me down. 👏 Amazing
I used to do a lot of fudge with a thermometer on the stove. I just tried this and it took me about 8 minutes, a lot less equipment, no mixer and it's looks and taste the same. Great
I haven't had peanut butter fudge in 17 years. This might be the year.
Just say it was due to COVID: sugar and peanut butter are ALWAYS good for trauma😅
It's 2020 have the fudge! Have all the fudge you want. You (as well as the rest of the world) deserve fudge!
Used to make some with my mom using velveeta cheese.
@@eldonerc2524 With velveeta? Did it have more of a cheesy flavor or could you not even tell it was in there?
fudge doesn't make it to the fridge in my house
A Followup to my post of a year ago. Hubby is a candy guy. Especially fudge. So when I saw this had to make this fudge for him...a year later and still Making it at least one or two times a month. He absolutely loves this and it is so easy to make and very less expensive than what you pay in local grocery or other stores. I was not a peanut butter fudge lover, But Alton your recipe changed my mind.
I now have a piece or two. Have to restrict myself due to med conditions which prevent me from taking in too many high sugar/carbs, but when I take a piece I enjoy it ! Thanks again for so many years of great shows by Alton and for the recipe :)
Y’all really don’t remember Alton having cameras in every oven he ever used on Good Eats 😂
He pretty much did. Ovens, refrigerators, pantries, etc.
It wasn't just limited to ovens. Cupboards, refrigerators cabinets or anything else he could open I think? 😎
Pepperidge Farm remembers
He did start out as a film student and spent a number of years operating cameras and directing music videos and commercials. Cinematography, camera angles, and framing were definitely areas of expertise for him and it carried over to his shows, I think he didn't get really good at cooking until after.
@@KalOrtPor didn’t know that, very cool!
I like his sense of humor, so down to earth!!!
Love this recipe!
