- A little piece I throw together from my trip to New York a few weeks ago. A lot of this was inspired by NIIGHT's video "The Seekers." I really enjoy the style of the video so here my take on it.

I don't think he has shot all clips from kit lens only, that may include 50mm or 35mm lens too

When I'm going to make cinematographic shots, my camera setup should be at 24 fps? o 60 fps? so that it looks in slow camera, HELP PLEASE !!
You can do a mix of both, I use to strictly film at 24 fps but switch to 60 fps due to the lack of slow-mo opportunities. So I then started filming in 60 fps which gave me the option to do slowmo then I just export/rendered at 24 fps. So you can either film at 60 fps then render at 24 or you can cycle between filming at 24 or 60 fps, i suggest that because filming at 60 and rendering at 24 might not a true 24 fps clip and there may or may not be a difference between a true 24 fps clip and one that was orginally 60 fps. Hope that helps and good luck filming.

AMA The 4K capabilities and color profile options like slog and cine4 but they a bitch to expose and you’ll lose quality using them. But take the A6000 body and pair it with a nice 50 or 30mm and you’ll be golden.

I always catch myself coming back to this video as inspiration. Super clean! Check out some videos I have on my channel if you get the chance! Trying to get the cinematic feel.
I just watched your most recent edit and the vision is definitely there! What camera do you film with? Try and film at 1080p @ 60fps so you can do any slow motion in post, then render/export at 24 fps to get that cinematic/film look. In addition, you can also strictly film at 24fps during scenes you don't plan on slow motioning. 24fps is king for these types of videos in addition to other factors like composition, storytelling, sound design, and flow!
I film with the sony a6300. I usually film at 1080 @ 120 fps. Im pretty sure I export the video at 23.78, or whatever the exact number is around 24. My problem is I usually just film without shots thought of ahead, I feel like for the real cinematic look I need to start thinking before hand.
