This Car without an Turbo or an Supercharger is not that amazing actually. Yeah fun to drive and all but the torque is not that impressive...so imo even if it looks nice, its riced out.

THIS IS NOT RICE.
Rice is throwing some cheesy parts on a car to make it seem like something it's not. This is a show/stance build so far. As he's stated numerous times, it's unfinished & he plans on boosting. He's had the car about a year and did all of this work himself and still worked on other cars along the way. This build, the work & @Devin Niemela deserve some respect. He has never claimed or implied anything about it's performance. Even if he never touches the engine, that's his choice and the car is beautiful just parked in place... Haters are always looking for something to hate on.

What makes it rice are the stretched tires, camber, bags and the wheel spacing. Perfect fitment, tuned camber and suspension and lengthened control arms are the way to go. A stock 90s civic is probably faster than that thing the way it is now.
Differing tastes... But keep in mind he did everything himself in his garage. I think that deserves respect, even if the car doesn't match your personal tastes.

Love the car. Looks great, and the fact you did the work yourself makes it that much better.
Few questions. First, how much did you pay in parts? Adding that to the price of the car, did you look into upgrading the car instead? Or is it the build you enjoy the most? This could be my age showing, but even though I love and respect the build, I went the spending most of my money on a Porsche 911which came with a euro body kit, upgraded wheels, headlights, taillights, etc, and now only have to do a few mods to make it my own even though it doesn't need any. I bought used but from a doctor, so I knew the car was well taken care of, and I do most of the work on it myself. I don't think one decision is better than the other, just different ideas, mindset, etc. What made you go this route instead of spending the money on an upgraded car? And finally, this can't be your first build, right? Did you teach yourself how to do all this work?

This was actually incredible work especially doing it by yourself. I’m extremely impressed with how it looks. It is not overdone, it is not underdone. If you do boost it (if you haven’t already) it will be exactly how I would want my 86 done. Gorgeous car and hats off to you!

If found after ten years in your barn it's what you do, but now it's almost new. Headlights cover is not closed properly and amongst everything you've put a front splitter.

My 4 door family sedan, is Turbo charged, and the crazy thing is i can even hear the Turbo whistle.

Zeztren that’s true but it’s still on the same body and chassis, even though they were different brands ( Subaru, Scion, and Toyota) they all based the car on the same blueprint and even though one car might be heavier or one car might have more power or whatever they all were going for the same idea

The power plant is the same across all models of similar years. Apparently the FRS and 86 have better reliability while the BRZ handles better. Other than that its just tiny details like the grill design and interior stuff. Though I think the FRS was probably the along the lines of the economy model. Like a base Mustang or Jeep, still fun but lacking in one thing or another.
The best thing I can think of that's as close would be the Ford Ranger and Mazda B2000.
Anywho, my op was more so just about the badging thing. Like if you got it, own that shit and run with it, and maybe do with this guy did. Like, did you know there was a car scene for Saturns? I didn't till I watch one of ThatDudeInBlue's videos, and its true what they say, for each car there's a car scene no matter how bland or weird.
