I’ve never had a problem with Ecs Tuning. I’ve worked with them for years. Especially with their customer service and returns. Well the car is currently in the process of getting a custom engine tune from revmatch. Fuel cell, flat bottom and rear diffuser is what is coming next.
Hello. I got confused a little by the rebuild part so I wanna ask you, The engine is stock or did you have any modifications done to it? Because Im planning on supercharging my 330ci and it seems unreal to have 400hp at the wheels with just the supercharger and a stock motor.
My original block got damaged when a “mechanic” worked on it. I purchased another stock engine and rebuilt it with all oem parts. Back to factory. I have a comment pinned if you want to see all the upgrades. But the engine has all stock internals.
Swap to the 3.0 If you can. So much more potential. And if you are able to sell your 2.5 you’ll get most of your money back! I am running the open diff right now. But I have an LSD in my backyard, waiting for summer

Sorry for the late response. I would start with a 3.0 swap. Strip all the weight out. Coilovers and wider wheels and tires. If you buy quality stuff and do all the work yourself, this should cost around 4-5k. It’ll be the most transformative 5k you’ll spend while building it.
Did you use the stock MS43 ecu or did you go stand alone? Currently having issues with my m54b25 turbo build from the ecu side of things haha/ ik im a year late
I got my first e46, a 320d I’m not sure if you got the diesels in America, running 32psi boost and using your channel as a guide on what to do how to do and and importantly what parts to use
The car was starting to be seriously built in 2019. A roll cage was on the list. But in the beginning of 2020 something happened, and there were some personal financial problems along with all that. we should be installing one in 2023. Stay tuned!
sad to see only 400hp out of that...deserve higher...like a crazy 550hp XD my e46 can do a 200hp, an original m3 could have done 370hp with small upgrade
400whp in a car that has also lost 600 pounds is plenty of power. There will be more power bumps as time goes on. Also what simple mod can add 100hp to an M3
I have M3 front fenders and some cheap eBay rear fender flares. The car is basically the same width as an M3. If you want to go slightly wider, there is HARDMotorsport. If you want full on wide body, there are loads of kits!

Am I the only one who thinks that the front lip that's on the car and the lip that's in the parts sheet are two very different lips like the one on the car is bigger and better looking and the one in the docs document is small af?
The lip you are seeing in the documents is on the car. It’s used as a spacer to put the splitter at the right angle. If you are building a split or you need to purchase a lip so your splitter doesn’t point upwards The big splitter you are seeing is custom built by hand nobody sells one that size.

Rice? Rice stands for “race inspired COSMETIC enhancements” nothing about this is cosmetic. I didn’t put all this on the car for fun, cuz I thought it looked cool lol. It all has functionality. I built it to go fast, not for looks.
@@TenzaMotorsports but like that doesn’t change the fact there is a lot going on and let’s be real what is a massive splitter with those big connecting rods to the bumper and canards doing anyway. You wouldn’t be able to tell the different, it just makes things look so cluttered.
Are you suggesting I remove performance from the car because it makes it look cluttered? I’m not sure if you actually don’t know what these parts are meant to do. But a quick google search will help. Also as a side note since you brought it up. The “huge” splitter rods are about the diameter of a pencil and they go from the splitter to bracings on the car. Not just into the plastic bumper cover like most “builds” these days have. If I were to remove the rods the splitter wouldn’t have any adjustments and would loose most of its structural rigidity. Again a quick google search of “racecar” and you’ll see air foils, splitters, diffusers, canards, side skirts, and flat bottoms all over the place.

They extrude so obviously from the front of the car, making the bumper look less clean and the car less streamlined. Also the large rods are a staple for ricer cars as well as the big red bumper strap. Just thinking you are making your car look like a riced out shitbox when it actually has performance credentials, just go for a more lowkey and streamlined look imo just take off the cannards tbh they make the front look the worse. The build is nice regarding the engine mods and stuff, but yeah. just what i think.
I’m sorry you’re confusing a riced out shitbox to an actual racecar. Wanna know why riced cars have similar looks to a racecar. Because they are trying to look like a race car. But here’s the difference. Ricers try to look like a racecar. And a racecar looks the way it does because of performance. I’m not reducing my aero functionality because some random person on the internet doesn’t like the way it looks. If you don’t like the way it looks, guess what. You can make your car look different. But if you’re only going for looks, you need to find a different build series to watch. This car is for the track,

I’m not sure where you’re getting this information. Who said any of that? It is NOT build for the streets. This car has already been autocrossed and tracked before. And is going to get it again this summer. Just curious where you got these ideas from?

Yes. They have you pressurize before starting. The noise you hear is the belt chirping from not being perfectly aligned.
Does anyone know what sunroof delete he's running? I'm using the driftHQ piece rn but it leaks like a sieve

Yes. There are a few supporting mods that need to be done. But these engines are solid if they are healthy

A stock 3.0 m54 is around 200 torque.
