@@Alex-vz2jz That seems to always be the case. 9 out of 10 2nd gen Eclipses you see in junkyards are F&F Replicas, which is a shame one because they're amazing cars if kept clean and unmolested yet at the same time it doesn't surprise me that most of the Eclipses that meet this fate is either due to rust, blown engines due to the owners being absolutely negligent for most of the time or unfinished projects that somehow failed. Hello from Germany, you give me the motivation to do something on my car every day. Even if the weather is bad here, your videos keep me entertained. :)
Love the junkyard videos! Would love to know the backstories from some of the more interesting cars in there, why they ended up there, if only cars could speak eh… Junkyards are called scrapyards over here in the UK, sadly with ever increasing health and safety rules the days of wandering around picking parts yourself are mostly long gone, you have to ask at the counter for what you want and only if it’s worth their while they’ll pull it for you…not helpful when you just need odd bits here and there or even to measure up parts from other models for example. Love the vids, sending big love from UK 🇬🇧
I'm in Belgium, and same thing, here the days of taking stuff off yourself are done, and therefore the prices are also absolutely not interesting anymore, it often comes up that brand new stuff is barely more expensive or even cheaper... If you need anything that you can't really get new, either you search for someone parting out their car, or look for online junkyards, often coming from countries that aren't as crazy when it comes to pricing.
Man honestly it's refreshing how positive you are. I'm building a 5th gen prelude at the moment and sometimes it's hard to stay positive. Thanks for the vibes!

Never knew how good a Kouki wing would look on an RSX.
But I must say. It looks soooooo good.
So flush. Flows well with the body. Just 👌
