It’s ok. At least we’re/I’m here to comment. The Z32 in the beginning looks like it’s ready to strip its parts for your need & the Integra sedan, even its exterior were rotten, it has an immaculate interior (reminds me of “ugly in the outside, beautiful in the outside” personal value thing). The part you’ve said about taking the half of the junk car and then welding it with the other half (for not taking a whole car because of the crappy insurance, etc.) reminds me of the commercial of the Philippine biscuit, called Fita (1 dude was giving a half of the said biscuit to the elderly woman that in turn, a fairy and she give a wish to the said dude. The dude wish to the fairy to have a sport car, but it was cut in half). Edit: also, Happy New Year & take good care! Time flies. Everything happened in 2-3 years are felt like it’s been “yesterday.”
Love to see these junkyard videos and the knowledge you share about each of the cool cars you see! I hit all of the Denver yards quite frequently (once a week if I can) and we get some interesting gems sometimes. A few complete S13 coupes, some MK3 supras, and a fair share of 300zx's like this. Happy hunting, looking forward to more vids!
It's really sad to see things go for such trivial reasons. They could have easily put it on marketplace for like 500 bucks if they really wanted to get rid of it quickly. At least then someone could use parts they need.
your so honoured brother, in the uk many breakers yards no longer allow people to browse for parts and you cant get further than the front desk, they blamed it on health and safety and people crawling all over the cars etc, i grew up going to yards on a sunday and loved it. thanks for the videos.
Man you're brave just leaving your tools inside a car and then walking away for a while. My tools don't leave my sight! And you should definitely get at least the transmission out of that integra. Those things are getting quite hard to find now days
5:00 4th gen Celica! I own one! I really didn't expect that car. This one is a GT, which means a medium trim (ST, GT, All-trac). Probably equipped with a 1.6 engine, but the GT also came with 2.0 engines. These things are basically non-existant on roads today, other than mine, i have never seen a 4th gen on the road. They were produced between 1985 and 1989, and with the 4th generation they switched to light FWD type of car, and could later develop an AWD version called GT4 aka All-trac. In 1985 they split Celica Supra into 2 separate cars. These things are sooo damn cool. I own a 1987 ST with 1.6 engine, still with a carbuetor, making whooping 86 horsepower, but i just love that thing.
I'm so happy you commented! I've always appreciated Celicas, but never took the time to dive into the fine details! Thanks for your valuable information! 🔥
The blue Toyota Celica GT is an ST165 model. They were produced from 1985 - 1989 it was the first FWD/AWD Celica. They used to be fairly common on the roads back in the 80s & 90s haven't seen one in quite some time. Nice find. That's definitely a car worth saving of you can actually still get parts for it.
i have literally watched everyone of your scrapyard videos and watched most of them at least twice i get so much enjoyment out of them keep up the good work
Also would like to mention junkyards where I’m at a lot will allow you to purchase whole cars. The only stipulation to it is that it’ll have a reconstructed title and goes through slightly tougher inspections than the regular car to get back on the road. Well worth the chance if you find a solid body to build!
the 300zx is my all time favorite car, due to the condition of the cars i dont have one. but please know im living through you right now with this series
@prizzamike fun little fact it wasnt just the rs and type r that came with no sun roof, there are a few 1994 integras that arent rs that didnt have a sunroof, i have a 94 green ls sadan that has no sun roof and after some research i found that in 94 only, there was an option to have no sun roof here in the states
Dude what a small world! Happened to be scrolling 300zx videos and found this video. I was at that junkyard the same day that you were! Was thinking of getting the headlights off that Z. I saw your Integra in the parking lot. Just watched some of your other videos, saw the video on your 240. Man I remember driving past your accident! I work at the Penske right over by there! Glad you are ok! 👍
This reminds me of when I used to make frequent trips to PicknPull to get Talon parts, especially the yard destroying things with the loader. Looks like you got everything you need to finish the green car.
The 2nd Celica is a 4th gen (st162), when the celica and Supra parted ways and the celica became fwd. currently been fixing up a coupe version as my daily driver and no I’ve never seen another one before
My guess for the rubber piece behind the clutch master cylinder is because TT and NA masters are different they need that to have it fit. TT clutch masters have a booster for them.
For the door cards you can take all those and the seat belt parts and still put them on your 96. It all fits. Seen a funny picture of someone who put seat belts on the door and the pillar.
Love these junkyard video's I'm about to move out there it's like everytime you go to a yard they always got your car there or 2 of the cars you own in NY we don't have junkyard like that they don't let you pick your own parts maybe upstate NY but it's far away. Grab that trans off the rs you know how much b series parts are getting also that headliner might be worth some money since the rs is super rare to find someone can paint or wrap it
Mrs and I talking before you stepped out into the yard "that's the one that was super muddy". First thing you mentioned was the mud lol. Can't recall what parts I got there though.
Man that RS sedan was a find! I knew it was an RS as soon as I saw the seats, they only had that honeycomb material. That cluster is probably good to have, hard to get sub 200k ones these days.
Love the junkyard videos, I was at the junkyard and just recently picked up a manual swap for my ef sedan. It’s sad to see these cars in the yard, knowing that’s the end.
Happy new year Mike! Z32s are a dying breed but I’m glad you’re gonna put the parts to good use! Out here in SoCal, all the Z parts are stripped and either sold or hidden away. Especially TT parts.
Happy New Year & all the best for 2023 to you all, Mike! Aerosol leather & plastic dye is available in many colours. Might be an idea for the beige interior dilemma! Cheers. Leigh.
Fuel pump control module probably failed. There’s an easy bypass to fix that issue and get back on the road. What a shame it went to the wrong shop. BTW you forgot to grab that quarter glass you need!
My grandfather used to go to the beach and find some old Volkswagen beetles and him and his friends would flip them over onto their roofs for fun, that was back in the 60’s, god I miss him and his stories
Sad to see them go, but just like us ppl, example someone had a deadly deseaase on brain and wanted to donate what was left healthy of their organs to save someone else's life, you could say identical things about cars, you take from one to save the other, keep the content flowing as much as you are able to Mike, happy new year from Croatia 🇭🇷
brooo that dashis almost fn perfect, cant tell if peeling up by edge of window defrost vents, as most do. but if not and even if so, looks too damn clean, no cracks or sun fade. perfect
Hi love the vids you came so far can’t wait to see what other things you do to your cars also I was wondering if you will sell your wooden steering wheel when you get a new one lmk or if not that’s fine hope everything goes good with the 300zx ❤🥂
The blue Toyota Celica is the ST162 model was made around 1986-1999 I think. There was also the ST165 all-wheel drive version or ALL TRAC version as you guys got in America that had the turbo 3SGTE engine. Cool machine, popular here back int he day in the UK and Ireland, rare machine now though, lots of them were turned into rally cars
Happy new year from across the pond my dood! Hope you both have good one, and also have a great time in Thailand ❤ p.s, the yellow 90s machine @ 14:37 is a first gen impreza
When you said no abs on the rs made me remember on my ls clicking the ebrake a few clicks to shut it off. So annoying constantly hear it kick on driving around for some reason it would get air in the lines and make it kick on.
Let’s go another upload from a fellow Mike (sorry for being late). HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!!! MAY THIS YEAR BRING EVERYONE CASH, CAR PARTS, LOVE AND SOME WEED (if you are legally allowed to smoke) CHEERS!!!
it isnt fun, but if the bolt head is stil good to use on that z32 seat rear stuck bracket, you can get a wrench in there. ive had to remove z32 seats on a 2+0 that were stuck like yours, you are wrenching blind, but it will come out with about 15 mins of misserable 1/8" turns a a time.
All the yards around here are the same way, once a car is in the yard they don't sell whole. But that car was roached, you taking the parts was the best thing that could happen to it! That yard sucks with the mud though, they should throw some rocks down or something. Love these videos!!
Where I live in New Jersey, we are no longer allowed to walk though junk yards and gather up parts we need. I do not know when it changed because when I was younger we used to be able to do that but now we can't and it sucks.
4:07 dayum, that gen V convertible is in better shape that my gt4 that i'm patching up xD Anyway, keep up the good work man - your videos help me a lot with fixing my rustbucket.
Mannnnnn that boils my blood lol. Junked it over a fuel pump. A new fuel pump on z1 motorsports is only like 300 dollars😂. And because it's a 2+2 the fuel pump is in an easier location to reach. I could have fixed that in like 30 minutes. People man🤦🏾🤷🏾 Oh also that blue Celica is the generation before that red one. It's the ST162. That's the hatch version and there's also a coupe version.
The pump probably was the last straw, it was in bad shape anyways and the last owner probably thought it wasn't worth putting more money in it to make it last only a little more. I wouldn't feel confident driving in something so rotted :( He could have sold it for parts though ....
@@pbe6965 to be honest, it's not even in that bad of shape, the engine works, the trans works, and there's mostly surface rust inside. The hatch and nose panel are replaceable and it's one of the rarest colors too 😓
Man I thought I recognized that junk yard ! Plus it took me a minute but recognized that area you lost the 240 !!! I randomly found you on fb to find out your from around here to that's awesome would love to see that 240 in person!
I had an 1990 Acura integra rs, my first ever car it was nice but I'm was only 13 and didn't do much with it. Sold it last year but the new owner is gonna make It awesome.
Great find such a shame that whole zx wasted , pity you can't buy it from them to deliver home so you can strip it for parts then they can take what's left back
Next time you go to a junkyard you'll need power tools. I thought you would of used the jack handle to have extra leverage on the ratchet lol. But you used the whole floor jack.
18:09 Dowel pins are what they are often called. YOu see them on transmission bell housings and sometimes the block of the engine where it mates with the trans for a nice "guided" fit.
Last time I ended up walking in such dirt (or even worse), I almost totaled my Vans kwalks shoes. Luckily, I remembered about some medical shoe covers laying in my car after the last hospital visit. I recommend buying a pair or two for the next time on this junkyard. Just take them off your shoes and throw them in a litter bin after you finish, and no shoe cleaning will be required.
I really wish they'd change that law that you can't buy entire vehicles from junkyards. It's wasteful even if they recycle the metal. Theres vehicles on the road right now with critical frame rust.. Alot of those vehicles in the junk yard could be road worthy again (With some overnight parts from japan) and alot of them would be in better shape when you get them running then some I've seen driving around town. Youuu dont gotta worry about mouse pooop😄
my 92c s13 has that trim peeling, its almost like plastic peeling,i found a razor for most of it/torch and they sell trim spray and it looks brand new oem again, ngl its a pain removing some of that old trim paint you pretty much need to melt the parts that arnt flaking off and use a razor.its really a must do though if you own a 90s car and want it looking good ( at least here in phoenix they are almost all peeling.)
As someone who lives in east Europe it's extremely cool seeing so many classics in a junkyard and how you can just find bunch of decent parts like that, I personally drive an Integra as well and it would be a dream to have something like this because how hard it is to find anything for it in Europe. It also made me wonder, do you have to pay for the parts separately and if so how do they value the parts? (and don't tell me you can just go there and take stuff for free 😂)
Junk yards or pick n pulls usualy have lists of set prices per item with core charges included, some items may not be on their list that is the only time whoever is cashing you out decides on price of item, some yards you can bargain on prices with them, others are set prices
i just so happened to have seen a celica like that driving by me the other day, it was all sanded down and in a bunch of bodywork stages, i was just as baffled and had no idea what it was until i saw the badges, my gf thought it was a delorean.
Husky 3/8 ratchets are good ratchets. I broke a 1/2' Craftsman in one of it's first few uses. Then proceeded to remove the same bolt with the Husky. It was unphased.
That's by far the worst junkyard I've ever seen. It's like they don't want you to pull parts from the cars. Glad you managed to find so many good parts for your Z though.
Rule #1 always wear your old boots to a junk yard day . #2 wear baggy cargo pants with big pockets. For fuse and small bits and bobs . Emblems and stuff . #3 make a false bottom to your tool bag . So you can put small flat stuff under it . Or wagon with the false bottom.
you are wild for running around that place in just shoes. its not the mud to be worried about but potential pointy stuff hidden underneath. curious if the whole door couldnt be swapped?

How is this comment a day old when the video is 5 hours old?
Always gives me anxiety when you put your stuff in a random car 🤣
Honestly same 😅
Yeah you should definitely stop doing that lol
I tought only me🤣
Yea same
Just never know if someone will check car out for parts and say "score, car was junked with tools".
Man, your junkyard videos are the BEST for real. Can´t wait to see more :D.
That junyard had some really good gens for sure
Appreciate you man! I didn't get a chance to really look around that much since I was focused on the Z. I'll go back to see what else they have there!

Well the UK is basically a Nazi state so what do you expect lol

@@pbe6965 to be honest, it's not even in that bad of shape, the engine works, the trans works, and there's mostly surface rust inside. The hatch and nose panel are replaceable and it's one of the rarest colors too 😓
Man I thought I recognized that junk yard ! Plus it took me a minute but recognized that area you lost the 240 !!! I randomly found you on fb to find out your from around here to that's awesome would love to see that 240 in person!

Жаль конечно видеть как крутые автомобили умирают на свалках. Удачи с SX. И с наступающим новым годом!
I had an 1990 Acura integra rs, my first ever car it was nice but I'm was only 13 and didn't do much with it. Sold it last year but the new owner is gonna make It awesome.
i hope you grabbed that z32 trans, those are getting harder and harder to find
24:00 I do this all the time. I thought i was the only one. Thank you.
Great find such a shame that whole zx wasted , pity you can't buy it from them to deliver home so you can strip it for parts then they can take what's left back
You'll have to invest in a pair of wellies Mike for the junkyard. Nice score on the z. Happy New year from Ireland.
As an American we don't know what the hell wellies are. Lol
Rubber boots, get some rubber boots...
@@samholdsworth420 Wellington boots lad. Keep the shite off yer feet...
I like the junkjard video's the most.
Next time you go to a junkyard you'll need power tools.
I thought you would of used the jack handle to have extra leverage on the ratchet lol. But you used the whole floor jack.
happy new year mike!!!
Celica GT most likely was with a 4AGE engine
On a tube from the trunk of a 300ZX Subaru Impreza :)
Happy New Year!
they didnt come 4ag in the states only mr2 corolla prism and nova
@@TWCAAO US-spec only with 3SG?
@@Theeclipseeee only in gt spec

I couldn't agree more haha
my 92c s13 has that trim peeling, its almost like plastic peeling,i found a razor for most of it/torch and they sell trim spray and it looks brand new oem again, ngl its a pain removing some of that old trim paint you pretty much need to melt the parts that arnt flaking off and use a razor.its really a must do though if you own a 90s car and want it looking good ( at least here in phoenix they are almost all peeling.)
THAT GRATEFUL DEAD STICKER IN THE SEDAN INTEGRA HAS ME DYING IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW 😂
Hello bro, I see you from Argentina, thanks for activating the comments in Spanish, keep it up 🔥🔥
Husky 3/8 ratchets are good ratchets. I broke a 1/2' Craftsman in one of it's first few uses. Then proceeded to remove the same bolt with the Husky. It was unphased.

That's by far the worst junkyard I've ever seen. It's like they don't want you to pull parts from the cars. Glad you managed to find so many good parts for your Z though.
i swear i always learn something from ur videos! the car on the bottle btw is a 90’s Subaru, maybe an RS
No way you found my old El Camino at the junkyard. Super small world.
Happy new year all the best to you Mike and your family let’s get that 1/4 panel done can’t wait 😜

I'd grab that dash, the lifting by the vents is a easy fix and that one has no cracks in it. you can pull one in less then 2 hours
Rule
#1 always wear your old boots to a junk yard day .
#2 wear baggy cargo pants with big pockets. For fuse and small bits and bobs . Emblems and stuff .
#3 make a false bottom to your tool bag . So you can put small flat stuff under it . Or wagon with the false bottom.
You inspire me to go to the junkyard
RT14 junkyard is the best , they always give good deals on parts
you are wild for running around that place in just shoes. its not the mud to be worried about but potential pointy stuff hidden underneath. curious if the whole door couldnt be swapped?
5:20 yeah the celica supra is an older gen. These are everywhere where I'm from
That blue elcamino 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
That key cylinder under the dash locks the hood and cuts off the starter signal. The cylinder pushes in to lock and pops out when unlocked
Interesting! I never knew! Is that an aftermarket attachment?
@@PrizzaMike Yes, Usually a dealer add-on. We had a Buick come with one and a lincoln lsc had one also.
