Agreed. I've seen them live 4 times and each was well worth the time & money. They opened for NIN one of the times and they absolutely killed it. Real deal rock stars.
Top notch performance...honestly they were better than Nails. (can't beat NIN's stage show, but performance wise better) The thing that sucked was that the crowd was only there for Nails. Homme and company were just grinding and the crowd was flat AF.
very tru and also symbolic. after all, the song is about not being afraid of being vulnerable. thats why its my favorite queens song. works on every level
I am constantly amazed by this band. Thought I'd have seen all their best live performances by now, but just keep digging up gold like this over and over again.Great band
this has been kind of a soundtrack of my life since i heard it the first time, a couple of years ago.. its pretty touching for me to hear it every single time :')
I really didnt realis the guy playing the solo after the chorus was Alain Johannes. I have only just got into QOTSA thanks to TCV. He looks so different with hair lol. And he is a brilliant musician. Guitar player, Keyboard, Bass and singer.
again same here. i love the early stuff and everyone is like 'go with the flow and no-ones'. in fact i got excited when new flat mate at uni told me he had the first album. Then he said he like kyuss...i nearly died of a heart attack!
@wabawab Agreed... as a guy who was a teenager in teh 90's, and having gone to such historical shows as the Pearl Jam Unplugged and Alice in Chains Unplugged (missed getting a ticket to Nirvana's unplugged by a few min...) I can say MTV has fallen SO VERY FAR. But then so has music in alot of ways. When Pearl Jam is a top playing radio band them's good times. now days there are barely ANY radio stations playing music like this and NOTHING on TV. QOTSA Rules.
Wow, I know what all of you all are saying! I am straight up obsessed with them and everyone else it's like ho hum yeah whatever, another band Christian is digging on, it's just been about 6 years now, ever since my first listen of the self-titled and Rated R. They just don't know what they are missing....at least we do. Even though I miss Nick's influence, LTP and EV are still great records. Peace everyone.
Homme always looks like the awkward kid in a talent show, always looking around, whenever he sings without a guitar. But he hits those high notes like s champ
@flipfloppityfloo In Australia there is now MTV Classic because MTV was moved from the Music Section to the Entertainment Section, seeing as there were so many reality shows.
About a love that won't die... "When you say it's dead and gone yes I know you're wrong" "No fire, no stone, no rope, no pole, it won't die....." "Poison cup, drink it up, it won't die...."
@flipfloppityfloo actually I think most of MTVs live concerts(and especially unplugged ones) are great. Die Toten Hosen @ MTV unplugged is one of the greatest.
Possibly the best band in modern rock music. Unique, powerful, heavy, dirty, soft, mellow, darkenss and light all rolled into one..
Definitely, they are timeless.
Agreed
Possibly?
A real band. Can play live. Sounds as good as album.rare these days
live even better
Agreed. I've seen them live 4 times and each was well worth the time & money. They opened for NIN one of the times and they absolutely killed it. Real deal rock stars.
TheAbbott88
I really wanted to see them when they opened for NiN in like 2007!!
Top notch performance...honestly they were better than Nails. (can't beat NIN's stage show, but performance wise better) The thing that sucked was that the crowd was only there for Nails. Homme and company were just grinding and the crowd was flat AF.
Every year I come back here to see this masterpiece of a performance. I love this band and they always help me in difficult times
I do it once a week. I love it so much.
I love reading comments from 15 years ago and ones from two weeks ago! I love this song.
Natasha was a good woman with a great humor. Smart and a nice musician. RIP
That keyboard......love it, has a "haunting" sound.
It’s her energy
Rip Natasha 😢
Taken way too soon 😥
this is the most vulnerable of all queens songs... so honest. just piercing!
Josh clapping along with the crowd at the end. Don't know why, but I've always found it so endearing.
Totally, I feel like he's proud of his bandmates.
Probaly one of the best Qotsa songs ever made.
Natasha is a gorgeous angel laying eyes on her is a amazing sweet feeling!!! God bless and God rest her soul
Most beautiful song by one of the best bands ever.
very tru and also symbolic. after all, the song is about not being afraid of being vulnerable. thats why its my favorite queens song. works on every level
Beautiful performance. Josh is in fine voice. R.I.P. Natasha.
I am constantly amazed by this band. Thought I'd have seen all their best live performances by now, but just keep digging up gold like this over and over again.Great band
Josh's voice is too amazing.
amazing, absolutly amazing. This must be the best band in the world, no doubt about that
So sentimental, Josh I cannot explain how much I love the music you make, the person you are.
Beautiful Natasha may her soul rest in peace... Josh's voice incredible... Looks kinda weird without a guitar...
I think that this is a big step for him to do this in his falsetto voice.
Absolutely perfect
...can not wait for the next album. Need more Queens!...
superbe chanson ,repose en paix Natasha.
Amazingly perfect, even live! Josh sounded geat and Natasha is just too cool =]
this song always take me to another world.. and no, it's not about drugs
one of the bands that changed my life...no, this bunch of people changed my life, that's awesome
I miss Natasha. RIP. This song is so great. Hope Alain is doing okay.
Nat .... RIP You ´re the best
absolutely yes...I think they are one of the most precious musical treasures we've ever had in this world
Beautiful song. "Poison cup- drank it up" Can totes relate.
i got a bit of tears in my eyes looking at Natasha ... RIP !!!!
this has been kind of a soundtrack of my life since i heard it the first time, a couple of years ago.. its pretty touching for me to hear it every single time :')
Una dimensione musicale particolarissima. .spettacolari...allora...ma anche adesso.
Natasha was a Godess!!.....Long Live QOTSA!

"Every living creature on earth dies alone." -Donnie Darko

Video is broken in the beginning

True Legend. Hope that they will come to sweden again!
Glorious.
Thank you so much .
Beautiful
Great song version,
I really didnt realis the guy playing the solo after the chorus was Alain Johannes. I have only just got into QOTSA thanks to TCV. He looks so different with hair lol. And he is a brilliant musician. Guitar player, Keyboard, Bass and singer.
Very nice video . This dude really have a good voice .
^^
again same here. i love the early stuff and everyone is like 'go with the flow and no-ones'. in fact i got excited when new flat mate at uni told me he had the first album. Then he said he like kyuss...i nearly died of a heart attack!
This version gives me chills. Rock on you fucking GODS!!
thats qotsa's most beautiful riff. hands down.
@wabawab Agreed... as a guy who was a teenager in teh 90's, and having gone to such historical shows as the Pearl Jam Unplugged and Alice in Chains Unplugged (missed getting a ticket to Nirvana's unplugged by a few min...) Rip Natasha 💔
Best Line up ever 🤩😎💥👍
Love 💕
I kind of hear it probably why I love this song so much, it's very soft like David Bowies 'hours album.
Josh Homme usually doesn't play guitar live in this song. It's the same on the Over the Years and Through The Woods DVD
wow, mtv actually put out a show that has good music. this is a first.
Kocham Queens Of The Stone Age! ♥
Best formation of band
man thats sad r.i.p natasha great muscisan for a great band
16.02.18. I finally found a masterpiece
Wow, I know what all of you all are saying! I am straight up obsessed with them and everyone else it's like ho hum yeah whatever, another band Christian is digging on, it's just been about 6 years now, ever since my first listen of the self-titled and Rated R. "Some talk to long, they know it all,
I just smile, and move on..."
:)
COOL!! QOTSA have to be one of the best bands ever but its weird seeing Joh without a guitar!
Hey, wait a second, I play the same guitar as Alain Johannes. Man has great taste, I must say.
thanks!
Josh is beautiful 💛💕
He is handsome as fuck 😊
It's like the instruments are playing themselfes!
word. same with the over the woods DVD. she was with them like, all the time.
Homme always looks like the awkward kid in a talent show, always looking around, whenever he sings without a guitar. But he hits those high notes like s champ
He was very nervous about his singing after Nick was gone. For a guy to sing in this falsetto voice and be accepted is huge ! Absolutely awesome
What about Josh looking wierd? Who cares? Incredible that this guy started singin fairly late in his career. His voice is amazing.
same for me to man these guys seem to make every thing better they should get more credit for what they do
@flipfloppityfloo In Australia there is now MTV Classic because MTV was moved from the Music Section to the Entertainment Section, seeing as there were so many reality shows.
This dances with the neurons in my brain that cataloged the MTV Unplugged Nirvana cover of The Man Who Sold the World by David Bowie for some reason
About a love that won't die...
"When you say it's dead and gone
yes I know you're wrong"
"No fire, no stone, no rope, no pole,
it won't die....."
"Poison cup, drink it up,
it won't die...."
i can't find it, i gave it to my cousin. so it could be uploaded during this month (if i see him) or you could go to lftsa and download the whole set.
Hey Nat, i miss you;
Hey anyone see the version of go with the flow they did at this show , class ,if any of you guys out there have it please please post it .
I am still waiting for the real MTV unplug of this band
really wish i couldve been there.:(
@flipfloppityfloo actually I think most of MTVs live concerts(and especially unplugged ones) are great. Die Toten Hosen @ MTV unplugged is one of the greatest.
Does anyone have the version of go with the flow that they preformed at this performance, used to be on youtube but its gone now.....
Hey! I got this show on LP. Didn't now it was a mtv live show. Can I get the dvd?
@flipfloppityfloo No this was overseas MTV. They play music over there.

josh looks so lost without his guitar .. i feel sorry for him ;D
fosizleminizle so true in many ways :D :D :D

Really?!, that's so sad, such an awesome artist.
🖤🖤🖤
@flipfloppityfloo it's MTV Berlin, that's why
Natasha Shneider apparently died at 11:11 AM this morning (07/02/08). R.I.P.
You never came.
Yeah, I always thought it was the best cut on that record when it came out
yup
