A little off topic, but I just have to say that YOU have inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming an artist. My personality and art style are very different than the typical modern artist and have felt out of place in the artist world until I started following your work. You and your art are a breath of fresh air and just what I needed to inspire me to continue. So THANK YOU! But I do have a question. What has been the most challenging thing to overcome to get to where you are today.

Thankyou for making this video. I’ve been YouTubing. Day in the life of an artist. Every morning. They say your only as good as the company you keep! So thanks for for being good company! Oh and I like to upcycle furniture and and do diy. I sometimes treat myself to that time if I’ve got enough work done😃a good incentive! 🌸✌️✨

I am a new yarn dyer and having so much fun learning and discovering all the nuances of colour mixing and matching. The effects one can get with numerous techniques are endless. So mush more than I would have imagined. I also dabble in water colours and copic markers. The courage to create is essential to my welbeing. Thanks for sharing your day. looking forward to more.

Superb.. I'm not particularly fond of computerwork, but that's because I'm kinda oldschool, but I can appreciate the 21st century craft so keep it up, also the direct paper and pencil/pen way and ofcourse keep on running, stay in shape, stay healthy.

Thank YOU! I'm a 29 year veteran animator/illustrator who is sick of working in the studios. And very much find your videos inspiring and helpful as I myself am interested in doing the convention circuit.
Gonna binge your vids tonight. :D

I have always been an artist since i was young, but I was only told about graphic design (which I took college courses for and interned for and didn't enjoy), art teaching, and children's book illustrators. none of those sounded like me, so I feel like i have been wandering with no career path for the past two years. This has made me TOTALLY reconsider being an artist as a career!
I was wondering what you do to consistently grow your imagination to always come up with unseen ideas.

How fortunate you are to be able to create whatever your heart and mind leads you too. That would be a dream job for sure! I am an RN but would so love to be able to make a full time living as an artist. Self taught artist I should say. Blessings to you in your work and life!

Your artwork is very beautiful and your videos are inspiring me to do more artwork myself. :)
I have dreams of opening up an online art store and this helps me stay positive! Just wondering, out of curiosity, do you happen to have Stephanie Pui-mun Law as one of your artistic inspirations? Many aspects of your art style remind me of hers, like the intricate, delicate lines and in particular the colour schemes. I really love her work too, so I mean this as a great compliment haha. Although of course, your work has some brilliant individual character of its own as well. I really like the thought you put behind your landscapes and how you explain your creative thought process behind the designs of certain elements.
Keep up the great work and thank you again for your great videos! x

Honestly, I preferred the original piece. It was way more elegant as opposed to something that became a bit cluttered in my view. I am not sure why you would go over it and waste an entire day for something that was already finalized. Is it a masked procrastination, the anxiety of moving on to the next?
