@@yuz_ha well what do you think that'll do to a nocturnal person? Well yep. Waking up early, very sleepy. Even with enough sleep. Groggily trying to make it through the day, then night comes, somed the time for everyone to sleep but you feel very refreshed, very energized instead... either stay up and be productive or force youself to sleep in your peak of energy

She doesn’t work that much! I keep saying that. She wakes up when she likes (usually about 10), feeds her pets, waters her plants, then works until about 5-5:30. She has dinner and free time/more work (50/50 probably) and then she tries to sleep at at maximum 5:00 AM. Every adult needs to work that much.

When people say they only get like 5 hours of sleep I cannot even fathom it bc I have to have about 8-ish hours of sleep to be a normal human being
So do I but I usually only get about 5 hours so I normally don't function as a normal human being.
I used to go to sleep at midnight and wake up at 5 am,
Today I went to sleep at 4 am and woke up at 9 am.
Idk why but I just wanted to state that.
I usually get 2 to 3 so im probably not gonna be ok as an adult but i honestly dont care arting is more important

Hey a quick question: How do you stay motivated to do your work at a set time because I have a lot of problems with that (even with things I like to do)
Elliana Grant Maybe it’s time to care for your health. I do not know what is the cause of your loss of motivation but in my case it was kidney stones and also a few minor health problems which sapped all my energy and motivation to do anything.
I started drinking water n stuff and started thinking about healthy routines. Now things are much better for me. I take breaks when I need to and work when I need to.
I’m not sure if this helps but for me it’s nice when someone gives me a good advice.

Yes. Lack of exercise can be the cause of many problems. motivation and self esteem is most affected by it. Also you don’t have to do it like you are a body builder. Just start with maybe 10 or 20 pull ups or push ups. Make sure to make it easy enough for you to do it every time you get the chance.
You get very frustrated when you suddenly do 100 push up and quit the other day.
Sometimes they’re just not motivated, they just have to do it anyway. You might not get much work done but it’s better than nothing. I believe LavenderTown made a video or mentioned it in one that putting your art online or somewhere where people can see it helps. If you set certain deadlines for yourself (Like let’s say a comic page per week.) and you know people are waiting for you it motivates you to get it done on time. Even if it’s just one or two people. :)
Around a month ago, I decided that I wanted to take art more seriously. The previous years, I only drew here and there and got quite decent. The first week of my sched (Consists of 5 hours of practicing time, that is layed out neatly with free time in between) was very hard. I was previously addicted to the internet and would use up the whole day just scrolling away. I kept fighting the urge to just relax, sure, they got me sometimes, but I never stopped. On my 2nd week, it got better. I was able to stay more focused and didn't pay much more attention to the internet unless it was my free time. 3rd-4th week, its now becoming a habit. All I can say is, my art has improved exponentially. The change is very visible and my friends had told me that I had improved alot.
My only tip is that you should determine what is important to you and what isn't. Stay focused and keep working on your dreams.
Ive also just started learning programming and now I have 4 hours of free time left lol. But hey, if it gets me one step closer to what I want to achieve, it's worth it.

Formoka Basically I just put frozen broccoli and other frozen veggies into the boiling water, then the ramen blocks, then I crack an egg into the water to poach it. Then when it’s all cooked I put it in a bowl and put corn, chili oil, and other toppings like nori strips and sesame seeds in! It’s pretty tasty ^^

Your life as an artist sounds as pleasing as my life trying to be an artist. My parents would find work for me to do and I’m usually to frustrated to draw because I don’t tend to draw well when I’m frustrated.

Almost exactly my problem. I'm only thirteen right now, but I desperstely want to get on my own feet by the time I'm 18.
Although i'm still a student, I might have some tips! I have trouble keeping up with a schedule as well. From my experience, it helps a lot to actually write down or set reminders on your phone for any tasks you need to get done. Start with maybe an alarm everyday, both before bed and in the morning. Sleep schedules play a huge part in your energy and productivity, I find.

An Oreeo Whohasnolife that’s one of the hardest parts I would say! Honestly the trick for me I just trying to make sure your schedule suits you, so it pushes you a little but isn’t way too ambitious, then the satisfaction of hitting your goals is sort of constantly keeping you motivated. Writing things down helped me a lot.
An Oreeo Whohasnolife Well what I like to do is if I don't get my goals done or stick to my schedule I like to slap myself then listen to 1 hour of a guy saying that I'm a failure whilst I draw. I'm not joking. It actually kinda works

Ive watched this video before but i just rewatched it because i want to work from home, drawing webcomics and doing commissions from home is my dream job, and honestly this was so helpful! I'll have to remember to set aside a specified time every day to work on stuff, i know that much, but i didn't realize i could set aside certain days each week to work on specific projects, so im definitely gonna try that!
I also feel like i need to purposely give myself excuses to leave the house more often cuz otherwise i just never will lol, I'll have to keep that in mind too...anyway, thanks for this video!! Its super helpful :>
Scheduling has always been an issue with me and I always thought I had to keep myself on like a basic job schedule (ei: 9-5 mondays-fridays) with my art work. I never thought about making a specific day for specific drawings so I may give that a shot. Thanks for the upload and congrats on 1 million!!!
