I have done a few tests with 60Hz and 120Hz on my iPhone 15PM and noted that I get better battery life using 120Hz. I rarely get to 120Hz, and stuff like watching videos only uses 30Hz, saving battery compared to a fixed 60Hz. So, like many myths, it does not necessarily ring true. The same thing applies to when you use 1080p instead of QHD it makes little difference. Just excuses really.

One of the things I noticed with my standard S22 and 23 is that when watching content like videos on streaming platforms like Netflix and others, even if it's not HDR ,some colors especially black looked very washed out and not good especially compared to iPhone. And unfortunately only very few RUclipsrs who do comparisons between the two standard models ever mention this 😅.
If you are doing a battery test, please make sure things are even. Here the s24 was running pubg in 120 fps compared to 60 fps in iPhone . That’s double the frame rate. So of course it will run hotter and consume more power. Recording one phone in 4K and another in 1080p and later comparing the battery is not a fare practice.
The fps is shown on top of the Galaxy phone; it's 60fps, not 120fps, as you can clearly see! Both phones are also recorded with 4K; only during slow-motion are they on FHD, and I explained it!
I have the S23, which is a great little phone. So, I assume the S24 is the same. But these days, 80-90% of people buy for the OS above everything else, so S24, however good it is, will not sway most iPhone users' upgrading choice.

Phones have protocols to not overdraw power, so it's fine. I would just avoid using a cheap charger for expensive phones in general. Better chargers, which are also more expensive, have chipsets in them to regulate the power drawn from them.
@@techmo2020 so you say it is not badly affect my battery health overtime ( and im using original 45 w adapter from Samsung) also i notice slightly heating when charging the phone i don't know whether it is normal or not ( i keep my battery 30-80%)
@@SteveJones-fo7js slight heat is normal, but of course using a slower charger will generate even less heat. I personally would not worry too much about this, just don't use your phone when it's charging.
Don't man it makes no sense, the phone only taps at 25 watts so if you go for a higher wattage there won't be a difference
@@techmo2020 but sometimes it reaches up to 40-45c .... Is is it continue or should i need to switch 25 w adapter for the sake of battery health?
A55 vs iPhone 16 battery test
neither are good but for smoothness i would choose the samsung
Kkkkkkk
So what do you suggest then if both of these are not good?
You want to sell your s24 snapdragon?
Iphone 16 has great battery life tbh
non pro iphones are such a scam its insane.
The 16 of these days feels a little power-consuming.😢
try samsung 60 mhz it will win over iphone 16 for sure. its because its unfair from 120 using display. it maybe will win a lot over iphone 16 same refresh rate
Just excuses really.
nice job
S24 fiyatına göre çok çok iyi
why compare to iphone??u should compare to pixel, choose iphone honestly is ios
is it me or the s24 has lower brightness?
Must be because of adaptive brightness
Thers a chanse that s24 is running 120 fps even if game is 60
S24 winner❤
S24 is the winner
are you persian? your accent is so persiaaaaaaaan
When will exynos version come
Bro couldn’t watch the video for 20 seconds to get the answer
@@big-gloom yeah actually I am studying while commenting
Nice video

Seem s24 dim screen for some scenarios
Could may be adaptive brightness he turned on
120hz vs 60hz
iphone next to s24 looks like a fat phone
2:27 "S24 adds a blur effect which can look very nice and preferable compared to apples look"
There is no way he just said that💀I respect apple for putting macro in their base model.
S24 is simply mega 💀iphone got cooked hands dwn
iPhone 16 is way behind than S24
iPhone all the way👍🏻
200eur price difference lol
nice
One of the things I noticed with my standard S22 and 23 is that when watching content like videos on streaming platforms like Netflix and others, even if it's not HDR ,some colors especially black looked very washed out and not good especially compared to iPhone.
And unfortunately only very few RUclipsrs who do comparisons between the two standard models ever mention this 😅.
Doesn't Samsung use a different HDR than Apple, which pays for Dolby HDR, while Samsung uses a free HDR?
@@andyH_England yes apple uses dolby vision and samsung HDR10+
But still even movies without hdr have that problem unfortunately.
S23 Vs iPhone16. Same type video like this one. Please 🙏🏻
Samsung becomes worst brand.. after got green line issue flagship mobiles
Galaxy s24 bem melhor em câmeras
Forgot to mention that s24 is 9 or 10 months older than the iPhone 16, but still the s24 still beats the iphone 16 in most categories.😊
My favorite kind of test. For video, I'd still prefer iphone because the mic is much better imo
You should ad Xiaomi 14 to comparision
Xiaomi 15 is coming in the next few weeks, so it may be best to wait for that.
Could you stop making false claims? He is a scientist, so he knows full well how to perform tests that have the same variables.
Android can never bet the standards and simplicity of IOS 😊
S24 king 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I have the S23, which is a great little phone. So, I assume the S24 is the same. But these days, 80-90% of people buy for the OS above everything else, so S24, however good it is, will not sway most iPhone users' upgrading choice.
@@andyH_England On the contrary, we are seeing a strong migration of iPhone users (11 12 13) to S lines (23 Ultra and S24 Ultra, S23 and 24 base). They are also complaining about a lack of innovation on Apple's part.
@@wesleyoliveira01, the Latest Q3 results suggest iPhone sales are up 2% whilst Samsung went down, so your personal POV may not represent what is happening in the bigger picture.
Both of them perform poorly. Pixel 9 and even the 8a beats them
Lmao
Hahahaha.. comedian
