btw the terrible thk fight was for entertainment purposes only, since it would be boring if i had never gotten close to dying. It is *NOT* that I am really bad at thk and never fought him at all without near maxed gear. Being such a skilled player I would NEVER get to 1hp on thk while actually trying

Just a few side notes for clarification
1. I used mods throughout the video (you can see it on the main menu). This was for recording purposes only. Everything you see here is possible without mods.
2. I removed mantis claw from my file when I didn't need it to avoid accidental wallclings. Looking back, it's pretty obvious but it would have been such a pain to record without.
3. We kinda got bored of making sure the geo route works so there's lots of huge spikes in the amount of geo we have. While picking up everything I showed in the video, you will have more then enough geo for the whole run.
2. is this why on 1:12:38 you choose another save file with 12mins in it?
@@alisakibin there had to be some last minute modifications to the route and this was after i had deleted the original file. thats why i click on a different file

Before anyone says anything, they’re just around when a wall cling is used, I don’t want to trial and error to find the exact frame, so I made it before instead of after.

@@ekkoet the ones after wk aren’t skippable because there is a shade teleport trigger right after the gate. the ones in archives is only skippable if you somehow get ismas clawless which i dont think is possible

I’ve recently started a similar run without even seeing this video. It’s minimum walljumps. My current goal is wings (long story, but it lets me basically walljump) currently at the bench before broken vessel with no walljumps, but I was stupid enough to bench. I can go for the shade skip, I have 6 masks and sharpened nail.
if you’re doing minimum wall jumps you can just fall off a wall, double jump repeat and gain height without ever pressing the jump button on a wall

Im gonna challenge the TAS guy(the most skilled speedrunner in the world) to do it, he's gonna get a few hundreeds immediatly after getting the claw, he so used to do the wallcling storage
you need to use claw to activate wall cling storage so i doubt it would be super useful
Minimum wallclings. do you know what the word minimum means.
and the TAS isn't a person. It's meant to be a thereotical best. nor is constructive cynisism the only TASer.
and in addition to that, wcs to skip logic is considered a major glitch so unless you could do the skip without wcs it won't make a difference.
and each wcs counts as a wallcling. WALLCLING storage. also I'm pretty sure unless 0 wall cling ismas tear is doable then the video is optimal afaik
also TASes aren't only for speedruns

A couple questions about the run, is Mark of Pride necessary for any skips, or is it just used for consistency? And is there a reason you chose to farm dream trees instead of doing failed champion?
mark of pride is necessary for the skip in spire. you cant make it to failed champ without claw
you can go up the left side of the false knight room and pogo an infection bubble to get into failed champ without claw.

cool run, have you ever tried setting what the highest percentage you can get with mantis claw is? super degenerate time if you ever try. in the older versions you can even get to marmu without it.
bro just routing this was a huge pain in the ass lol. it would probably end up being something similar to this though, theres only a few things you can get without claw
yea i think outside of what was done in this video, minus wings, the dreamers, and mantis lords, you can do from what i remember 3 mask, 2 vessels, marmu, howling, hornet 2, abyssal shreik, then hard lock at shadecloak
why fragile heart? does it increase the base health of the shade so you can do the skip? i thought the shade only had health scaled to your health, didn't realize that it's scaled to the health of specifically the build that died. have i guessed correctly?

we have tried the shade fireball pogo but it didnt give enough height for it to save a wallcling
