@@ThatDwag69 The hard part of beating Monomon isn't Uumuu, it's getting to Teacher's Archives. You need either Isma's Tear, or Shade Cloak (or a very precise C-dash skip) just to access that part of Fog Canyon, while all you need to get to Herrah is Mantis Claw (and Lantern, if you consider that an ability). The only hard part about beating Herrah, is the Deepnest maze you have to go through.

The reason so few have gotten "Rivalry" is because you not only have to save Zote in Greenpath, but also save him in Deepnest, then beat him in the Colosseum. Most people will already have beaten the Trial of the Warrior before saving Zote in Deepnest (if they find him at all), so likely won't know to redo it to battle Zote. Not to mention getting to Zote in Deepnest is pretty tricky if you don't already know how.
I actually have more achievements than I realized, apparently. All I’m missing is the mister mushroom ending, the achievements that you have to make a choice for, where there’s two achievements on each side of the choice, speedrun completion, and the steel soul ones.

I kept this video as a reward for getting a platinum on Hollow knight, and now that I have if, I can enjoy this ranking :) My favorite achievement was Steel Heart: the strategic feel of steel soul mode tested my knowledge and it was the most fun I've had in the game.
The last achievement I got was Mr.Mushroom ending, though I only watched the guide for the last two locations, as I had found him everywhere else. Ps. you spelled achievement wrong in the title

Ive been grinding for p5 for roughly 2 years and have not beat it, most fun achievement for me however was the grey mourners quest, just one that showed how amazing the world building is
Personally speaking, i didn't find that doing the 100% in Steel Soul too difficult, I focused on avoiding tougher fights or areas until I get certain upgrades, even though I did use the "quit when on 1 HP" a couple of times, I surprisingly didn't have to resort to doing it as much as I thought I would, also it was incredibly fun and fast, managed to so it in 8 and a half hours. It did take me two tries tho, died to to freaking Marmu lol
6:13 I beat the Watcher Knights in only 2 attempts (first playthrough), but somehow still died over and over again by that dang floating fried egg 😭 (almost uninstall the game in rage lmao)

i defeated mantis lords after turning all my abilities into shade, get pure nail, complete 3 masks, get all soul vessels, and th first pantheon, beat tm grimm and beating the hollow knight. then i realized the boss symbol on pantheon of the artist door is mantis lord, not hollow knight ;-;

Am I the only one who thought Hornet was easier than soul master? It might just be because my play style fits better against Hornet, but it took roughly 50 tries to beat soul master and 30 to beat Hornet. I was admittedly trash though.
There are many different orders to beat Hollow Knight. For example did you know that many speedrunners go straight to the Resting grounds after entering the Forgotten crossroads.
"Going for the true ending." This is nonsense unless you are using a guide. No newbie is going have any idea what the hell is going on in their first playthrough. I was just looking for anything I could physically do without spoiling the whole game. Since I haven't looked it up yet, I still don't know what the true ending is. I just know that you can 100% the game without even knowing what the different endings even are, much less what is optional or mandatory for any of them.
