Hey CC! I noticed something in the eternal grind that is the pantheons. Basically, in the charm binding, even Void Heart is unequipped, despite the claims that it is part of the bearer. Any thoughts? Is the Godmaster stronger than void itself?
In ending #4, the Shade Lord, formerly known as The Knight, or ghost, or... Well, not actually really formerly known as anything, really, bursts forth from the Godseekers body. With the newfound power of unifying the whole strength of the void itself under a single focus, it LASHES OUT in its GODLY RAGE, as it travels to one specific place, where all of its rage is directed: Kingdom's Edge, where it uses its incredible strength to bring the Primal Aspid population to extinction.
I really admire hornet, as according to my interpretation, she was fully aware that she might end up as a dreamer/ die if you go for the sealed siblings ending. She says multiple times throughout the game that we have a choice to make: we can either "supplant our birth cursed sibling" or destroy the Radiance. She only advises us to choose the latter once, because it's better for Hallownest. She assists us in the final fight even though she knows it could spell her doom depending on our choice. Can't wait to play as her in Silksong.
Though in one of her dialogue options (I’m rephrasing since I don’t exactly remember it) She says she doesn’t want to risk her life. So Idk what she’s thinking in that brin if hers…
I am so full of feelings about Dream No More. The Pale King was so certain that the only way to contain the Radiance was with the singular best, strongest, purest vessel, so he isolated the Hollow Knight and discarded the rest of the vessels. But the Radiance is actually defeated when the Knight, the Hollow Knight, and Hornet help each other, with the rest of their siblings rising up to support them.
On the bright side, Team Cherry has said they don’t like the idea of a “true” ending and have worked on making all the endings fit with the start of the sequel if possible
They are probably integrating the hollow knight 1 into silksong. Just think of how cool it is to get references from what we did in the last save/game like how the nail forger becomes the nailmasters boyfriend or how we gave elderbug a delicate flower. Small details
@@reverie02 now that i think of it, playable memories might be better for silksong because you forget everything after leaving hallow nest. You can also “weave” together your memories to get your desired ending. Like do you help the knight or not, do you give a flower to godseeker or not.
I love that Team Cherry is like 'all endings are canon, including the one where Hornet is eternally sealed in the Black Egg with you, despite the fact that she somehow winds up in Pharloom some time later!' lol.
I personally believe that in DNM, the reason the knight “dies” is actually because it had completed its mission and wanted to put both itself and its siblings to rest with. Because it was Lord of Shades, it could will the void to do anything. Including becoming still forever.
The void becoming still matches the description of [spoiler] the trophy you get for defeating all God home bosses on Radiant difficulty, saying it contains a perfectly still amount of void liquid and it is void given focus.
@@StainlessHelena if i am not mistaken, that is content of ending 4 and 5, where is not knight anymore but actually shadow lord controling and doing everything, both player and knight have almost no impact aggainst knight's siblins and the sshadow lord itself, both radiance and shadow lord were brought there at the same time.
Regarding the "Quirrell death vs Hornet orphan" question, Quirrell was actually quite old already anyway, and his dialogue and likely method of departure indicated that he was entirely ready to face his fate, maybe even amiable towards it. Quirrell's story, its ending included, was by no means a tragedy, and is only made such by the players who refuse to let him go. Momento mori, my friends.

I forget the words, but I'm pretty sure he mentions it. Plus the nail in the game code is Quirrel death nail.png or something like that.
Even though a lot of people already know this, its beautiful to see people still uploading these videos for anyone else, also it can come in handy when silksong is released and new people want to play the first game before silksong
There are select moments in this video where the music creates such a POWERFUL vibe and they ALL happen whenever the radiance is on screen. Nosk music is PERFECT for making her seem ominous and sinister and then the BANGER for when you show off her absrad form xD Genius and very appreciated

I'd actually disagree with the knight losing control of the void. This is mainly because of the godseeker mode, which is implied to take place after one of the pantheon of hallownest endings, as the godseekers acknowledge their past ignorance of your godliness and ask to be punished. Constantly referring to the knight as the God of gods. You can do whatever you want here, all charms, all everything and it's YOU, the knight, who is doing all of it. It's just that we really shouldn't assume that a being, divine from childbirth due to pale and abyssal heritage, who had to claw their way out of the abyss to have the privilege of being born, wandered the wastes aimlessly for most of their days, with their only real goal in life, sealing the radiance, having failed from the very start, driven to hallownest only by their own sibling's failure. Someone who has a strong enough distaste for the gods to shove the corpse of the pale king off his throne, someone who the world has thrown everything it has against them to kill them, now having killed the God they hate most and having ascended above and beyond what any mortal or God could imagine. Yeah I really don't think the knight is the baby a lot of people have assumed them to be. They literally have all the reasons to act the exact opposite of someone who is innocent of vice.
This reminds me of that one comic where hornet says that "these are my brothers, the baby and the feral one" "hello baby" the person says the the knight Hornet: "no, this is the baby, that is the feral one"
Thinking about ending 5 just appears to me that the flower is similar to the King's light. It seems to also appose Void, so its reaction to being affected by Void is either eviscerating it, or simply containing it in another place, trapping the Lord of Shades in Godhome. At least that's my theory on ending 5. There's probably some other, more logical theories. Also, I would find it pretty wholesome if Hornet shows The Hollow Knight all of Hallownest before she leaves. Or says "bye" to it in her own way.
Quick question, since you seem to be the one most qualified to answer it Is the large entity present in godhome (you know which one, the one under the floor with blue eyes) the God of... Lifeblood?
@@charlesmorey4298 With the origin of Lifeblood still a big mystery, other than it's potent healing properties (e.g. Giving the Knight two extra masks), and the strange creature seemingly at home in the Lifeblood room in Godhome, it's quite the theory. I can't say for sure, but with the creature being purposefully put into a room full of Lifeblood hidden away in Godhome, that once interacted also allows lifeblood cocoons to appear in Godhome, they definitely are related.
is still kinda sad that we dont gonna see anymore the knight, i like to think that maybe, being free from his vessel the knight returns to his home where all his brothers are, resting till the end of time in the void
I feel like once the Knight gets the void Heart and all the stuff that leads up to it etc that it truly gains a will, which makes the sealed siblings ending even sadder in my mind bc we know it’ll eventually fail
The knight always had a will, you can refuse to buy stuff, which as Jinn comments, shows you have a will, all your own. A true pure vessel would never be able to become impure.
15:47 there is actually a really easy answer here, quarrel gives the mask to monomon, and hornet isn't an orphan, heres the thing though, if you don't talk to quarrel, he doesn't die, he rather just sits there in the blue lake, so if you don't talk to him, he doesn't die, win win scenario 😊
Ending #4 and #5 could make great games! Ending #4 could have hornet and thk try to beat the shade lord and bring the world back to normal, and ending #5 could be the duo trying to regroup the rest of hallownest and trying to revive dirtmouth!
This is awesome. Every time I watch a lore video, even after playing through the game, every fresh one just evokes so many feelings. AND OMFG THE ENDING! Peak outro.
I haven't seen anyone bring up Godseeker Mode in lore videos, which chronologically happens after either Ending #4 and #5. In it, we can see both the Godseeker and the Knight are alive and well, even if only in Godhome. Granted, the mode has no plot besides "Shade Lord returns to Godhome as the Knighy to play around and Godseeker wants it to spank her" so the canonicity of it may be in question.
I was talking to someone on Mossbag's server and we both agreed that it'd be AMAZING if Silksong checked your HK data to see which endings you got on your playthrough. That way, if you never played HK, the game could work on its own with no references to its endings whatsoever. However, if you got any of the endings, Silksong could show a prompt asking from which ending from your HK you'd like to continue. That could allow for Hornet mentioning her siblings, for example, and how they are now "freed from the great light's power and resting in Hollownest". It could allow for Hornet mentioning Ghost, talking about they're sacrifice for the Kingdom or how their 'new form' aka Shade Lord either wrecked the place or united all the shades under it. I'd DIE for this to be the case but we won't know until we have it in our hands so fingers crossed!!
this would be amazing, but it isn't likely. they said they want it to be a stand-alone game, so you wouldn't feel like you have to play the first one to know what's going on. so for marketability, it'll likely have very little lore answers to the first game, I think
I like to imagine that as The Knight travels through Hallownest, it becomes more and more a thinking, feeling being, mourning lost companions, and becomes increasingly anxious about not being able to Seal the Radiance. It rests on the Dirtmouth bench one final time, and Dreams. It dreams the first three endings, wakes, and finds the Godseeker. There it ascends to the Lord Of Shades, destroying the Radiance and retreating back into the Abyss, where Hornet and The Hollow Knight eventually make contact with it and begin reparations of Hallownest.
At 6:43 , the other big shade we see holding the Radiance actually looks like the Hollow Knight's Shade, as it has the crack on its head, the same long horns, etc.
My hints Ending 2: the garden is a lot bigger, you know? How about you explore it and meet someone strangely family-er. Ending 3: did you ever listen to Hornet? How about you do as she asks. She might even help you on that path. Ending 4: did you know, there's actually 4 simple keys and one of them you need another key, let your instincts guide you. Ending 5: someone as magnificent as the godseeker deserves a gift of equal magnitude. I know that these are less useful, but I just wanted to Wright them for fun. :D
The answer to the query about Quirrel is that if Monomon is able to share his knowledge then Mender bug will have more signs to fix and he can obtain hereto unheard of levels of sign mending technology. It’s for the greater good.
I've never really heard this anywhere, but the vessels seem to have the ability to nurture void. The hollow knight's shade is way bigger than that of the others.
This reminds me you can do godhomeending without having to kill the dreamers That means that neither quirrel or hornet's mom would die right? and the hollow knight inside the egg might survive too. sounds like the best ending imo
@@ClownLordi You’re mixing game logic with story logic. Nothing is stopping Hornet from visiting the Black Egg at any time b4 the Dreamers die, and as protector of Hallownest’s Ruin, it makes sense for her to check up on it.
I like how Hollow Knight’s downfall in self esteem started when he saw Ghost behind him and pale king in the abyss. Curious why Ghost has never grown yet it seems Hollow Knight did grow.
I think it might be something relating to training or how long they've been out and about. The Lost Kin is considerably taller than The Knight, but still shorter than Hollow Knight. We know he reached the Ancient Basin, so he probably was pretty powerful. Also something to note is that just like Hollow Knight and his pure form have more evolved forms of The Knight's spells, so does Lost Kin. So maybe it's related to how long they've been alive and how much they have trained. When you think about it The Knight practically saved the kingdom in one day, so that might be why he's so small lol

Charms resemble either the person or what they were doing before they died. Nailmaster's glory looks like a nailmaster. Coincidence? THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES!
I’ve been obsessed with this game for several years now, even so, im still watching this because Im absolutely starved for anything hollow knight related, even if it’s nothing new to me. I’m grateful for people like you who continue to make content from this game. It’s entertaining and comforting to watch
So, the meaning of the game imo is either Nothing lasts forever, you cannot create something eternal Or The knight is not a "chosen one", it is a failure, a rejected vessel, another usseles experiment but regardless you killed the infection and once again joined the void.
Yep. He'd have someone to live for again. :') We don't know what their relationship was before she was sealed and he lost his memories, but whatever it was, they were clearly very close.

Or maybe they were best friends and fellow researchers, working together. Maybe they were even lovers. We have no way of knowing, so it's important to keep an open mind.

Either Silksong can't exist if all endings are cannon, because Hornett is sealed away in one of them. Or Team Cherry is both wishy-washy AND very good at writing themselves out of a corner.

@@drappieralexandre3639 Yeah but if we didn't kill them they would probably be cured at the end (since the orange vines turning back to black indicates an end to the infection), Uninfected soul master would seem like a nice guy, freeing bosses by killing them would only really be applicable to Broken vessel, dream warriors ect.. Still the best ending tho !!
This was great video, do you think you could potentially do one about what it means to be truly hollow and if the night is or not, and if the Knight lore wise can exist without their shade or if the Knight is the shade with the outer part being the corpse and shell sealing it. They say the Knight is a ghost meaning the Knight is dead but does that mean it is shade covering it's soul or if it is souless with a shade alter ego that looks like it. Only thing that would make sense is how it can make decisions and do anything without a brain with it being physically hollow and without a will to do anything with it being hollow mentally. Does Hollow mean to be selfless and have no desire other than the mission and purpose it was given kind of like the other void constructs.
I’m a sucker for happy endings (i.e. as many characters alive as possible). Godseeker ending gave that to me with us saving the Hollow Knight. The game says he began to have some kind of thoughts, feelings, sentience, etc. Whatever hope or ambitions there are in him, I hope may at least be referenced in Silksong, because the Hollow Knight, like all of the vessels, got the short end of the stick.

My view of the Shade Lord is like a Primordial force that never had focus or direction and wanted just to erase life. After getting both focus and form it has now the capacity to delete the very existence of everything. My favorite final
i love how the community collectively decided on 'true ending' for the dream no more ending despite TC saying there is no true ending. to be fair, it does function how true endings usually do: extra content/requirements need to be fulfilled to unlock it, and it plays out a different cutscene than the 'normal' ending. anyways, neat little quirk
Like, if that's the case, why is there still void in it's body when you fight it both times? And why doesn't the hollow knight (who was infected much longer and much worse) turn into a ghost?
I don't think there was any shade left. We find it completely hollow, like the siblings in the Abyss. But having it as a ghost makes me wonder if that's the vessel's original ghost, as in before being 'taken over' by Void. Mmm...
"It has a will of it's own" - Steel Soul Jinn. Insert cutscene of the hollow knight looking back at Ghost thinking on whether or not to save the knight. And the cutscene where PK has a moment with the hollow knight. That argument doesn't have any merit. You don't even explain how there isn't any shade left. The Hollow Knight was infected for much longer and much worse, and it still has a shade.
The pale flowers hold a small fraction of power similar to the power of pale beings like the pale king and the queen and I’m sure it destroys the void meaning it’s paper, sizers, rock with pale energy beating void and void killing the radiants and the radiants killing the pale king The pale flower just destroys void
In Ending 4 and 5, I think the dreamers are considered dead. This is because hornet would only wait for you in front of the black egg after you've killed all the dreamers (At least, that's what I think. I didn't try acquiring Void Heart before killing any of the dreamers)

To get each ending, you need to find what else to do from the previous one. Using the dream cutter thing, discovering the origins of the vessels, taking the throne of the god of god and doing the flower quest. Pretty darn cool.
I definitely think endings 3 and 5 are the best endings: as both end the tyranny of the Radiance whilst also not allowing the Void to rampage and consume all. Ending 1 is just a dark souls kindling, so it just perpetuates the need for Hollow Knights. Ending 2 condemns Hornet to die (and if Radiance leaks from the temple as it did before, it condemns the kingdom as well as the dreaming Hornet is locked inside the temple as it's sealer). Ending 4 is the opposite of problem of the games premise: the darkness comes to consume our knight and seeks to usurp the Radiance in darkening the world instead of making it bright. The Knight becomes the Dark Lord.
🖤I love each ending for what it is. No matter how back water it is to get those endings. This is basically the story of one family and the tragic circumstances that surround them.💙

While I knew basically everything in the video, I never considered that containing the Radiance could be an intrinsic want of the vessels (and by extension, the shades), adding a reason to why the shades all dissipate in the Dream No More ending. Wait, this would also add to the futility of trying to contain her, as the vessels would be marred from their inception...
Hey I just wanted to say, these are such creative spoiler warnings that I’ll remember for a long time. You made it so people can come to understand their ending without spoiling any replayability, while also helping them on their next playthrough so they don’t end up with any endings they’ve already seen. You give them the choice to find things on their own and make their own conclusions, with a little hint that doesn’t reveal anything about the next. That’s just cool. So many spoiler warnings in videos feel weirdly backhanded, but this is just nice.
My personal headcanon for ending 5 is that the dreamers do wake up, and at first Quirrel is all depressed, but he only gets halfway to the Blue Lake before being ambushed by Sheo and the Nailsmith, who march him back to Greenpath where they teach him pottery, crochet, and life-appreciation. Happy ending for everyone! 😊
Hollow Knight is a true masterpiece, there's no other game that would return so often and discover something new. How often I just got lost in its soundtrack and just listen to it without even playing... I hope that Silksong will be on the same, or even higher level than Hollow Knight!
Gonna disagree that HK and Hornet both ready up for battle in that last cutscene in the Black Egg Temple. Hornet certainly seems taken aback and raises her weapon, but less of an "im gonna destroy you" posture and more of an "oh snap whats that coming outta the dark." HK is clearly using their nail as a walking-aid and from the perspective were given clearly steadies themself to rest upon the wall... in no shape to battle.
I always thought it was the monomon that called the knight, because it would make sense how it managed to come back when quirrel did, and also monomon wanted to break the seals
Not all bugs forgot about her. Enough of them continues to whisper about her, to sustain her existence, enabling her to angrily lash out and convert people by force through their dreams.
In summary; 1. A temporary fix. 2. The same, but we locked the door. 3. Death to the old god, the void sleeps below. 4. The void rises, behold its might. 5. No gods, no masters.

Personally, I think that the Knight, or Shade Lord, survives in ending 3 as a shade but not as the shell.

Silksong is a Prequel. All endings are still canon.

I'd actually disagree with the knight losing control of the void.
This is mainly because of the godseeker mode, which is implied to take place after one of the pantheon of hallownest endings, as the godseekers acknowledge their past ignorance of your godliness and ask to be punished. Constantly referring to the knight as the God of gods.
You can do whatever you want here, all charms, all everything and it's YOU, the knight, who is doing all of it.
It's just that we really shouldn't assume that a being, divine from childbirth due to pale and abyssal heritage, who had to claw their way out of the abyss to have the privilege of being born, wandered the wastes aimlessly for most of their days, with their only real goal in life, sealing the radiance, having failed from the very start, driven to hallownest only by their own sibling's failure. Someone who has a strong enough distaste for the gods to shove the corpse of the pale king off his throne, someone who the world has thrown everything it has against them to kill them, now having killed the God they hate most and having ascended above and beyond what any mortal or God could imagine.
Yeah I really don't think the knight is the baby a lot of people have assumed them to be. They literally have all the reasons to act the exact opposite of someone who is innocent of vice.

Thinking about ending 5 just appears to me that the flower is similar to the King's light. It seems to also appose Void, so its reaction to being affected by Void is either eviscerating it, or simply containing it in another place, trapping the Lord of Shades in Godhome. At least that's my theory on ending 5. There's probably some other, more logical theories.
Also, I would find it pretty wholesome if Hornet shows The Hollow Knight all of Hallownest before she leaves. Or says "bye" to it in her own way.

@@charlesmorey4298 With the origin of Lifeblood still a big mystery, other than it's potent healing properties (e.g. Giving the Knight two extra masks), and the strange creature seemingly at home in the Lifeblood room in Godhome, it's quite the theory.
I can't say for sure, but with the creature being purposefully put into a room full of Lifeblood hidden away in Godhome, that once interacted also allows lifeblood cocoons to appear in Godhome, they definitely are related.

This is awesome. Every time I watch a lore video, even after playing through the game, every fresh one just evokes so many feelings. AND OMFG THE ENDING! Peak outro.
I haven't seen anyone bring up Godseeker Mode in lore videos, which chronologically happens after either Ending #4 and #5. In it, we can see both the Godseeker and the Knight are alive and well, even if only in Godhome.
Granted, the mode has no plot besides "Shade Lord returns to Godhome as the Knighy to play around and Godseeker wants it to spank her" so the canonicity of it may be in question.
I was talking to someone on Mossbag's server and we both agreed that it'd be AMAZING if Silksong checked your HK data to see which endings you got on your playthrough. That way, if you never played HK, the game could work on its own with no references to its endings whatsoever. However, if you got any of the endings, Silksong could show a prompt asking from which ending from your HK you'd like to continue. That could allow for Hornet mentioning her siblings, for example, and how they are now "freed from the great light's power and resting in Hollownest". It could allow for Hornet mentioning Ghost, talking about they're sacrifice for the Kingdom or how their 'new form' aka Shade Lord either wrecked the place or united all the shades under it. I'd DIE for this to be the case but we won't know until we have it in our hands so fingers crossed!!
this would be amazing, but it isn't likely. they said they want it to be a stand-alone game, so you wouldn't feel like you have to play the first one to know what's going on. so for marketability, it'll likely have very little lore answers to the first game, I think

I like to imagine that as The Knight travels through Hallownest, it becomes more and more a thinking, feeling being, mourning lost companions, and becomes increasingly anxious about not being able to Seal the Radiance. It rests on the Dirtmouth bench one final time, and Dreams. It dreams the first three endings, wakes, and finds the Godseeker. There it ascends to the Lord Of Shades, destroying the Radiance and retreating back into the Abyss, where Hornet and The Hollow Knight eventually make contact with it and begin reparations of Hallownest.
At 6:43 , the other big shade we see holding the Radiance actually looks like the Hollow Knight's Shade, as it has the crack on its head, the same long horns, etc.

I like how Hollow Knight’s downfall in self esteem started when he saw Ghost behind him and pale king in the abyss. Curious why Ghost has never grown yet it seems Hollow Knight did grow.
I think it might be something relating to training or how long they've been out and about. The Lost Kin is considerably taller than The Knight, but still shorter than Hollow Knight. We know he reached the Ancient Basin, so he probably was pretty powerful.
Also something to note is that just like Hollow Knight and his pure form have more evolved forms of The Knight's spells, so does Lost Kin. So maybe it's related to how long they've been alive and how much they have trained.
When you think about it The Knight practically saved the kingdom in one day, so that might be why he's so small lol

This was great video, do you think you could potentially do one about what it means to be truly hollow and if the night is or not, and if the Knight lore wise can exist without their shade or if the Knight is the shade with the outer part being the corpse and shell sealing it. They say the Knight is a ghost meaning the Knight is dead but does that mean it is shade covering it's soul or if it is souless with a shade alter ego that looks like it. Only thing that would make sense is how it can make decisions and do anything without a brain with it being physically hollow and without a will to do anything with it being hollow mentally. Does Hollow mean to be selfless and have no desire other than the mission and purpose it was given kind of like the other void constructs.
I’m a sucker for happy endings (i.e. as many characters alive as possible). Godseeker ending gave that to me with us saving the Hollow Knight. The game says he began to have some kind of thoughts, feelings, sentience, etc. Whatever hope or ambitions there are in him, I hope may at least be referenced in Silksong, because the Hollow Knight, like all of the vessels, got the short end of the stick.
I just connected to things to the depressing lore The whole night in a fleeting final effort to kill radians does a suicidal act that he knows will permanently end him yes he has enough determination to hang on for a few seconds and take full of vantage of the shades power.

i love how the community collectively decided on 'true ending' for the dream no more ending despite TC saying there is no true ending. to be fair, it does function how true endings usually do: extra content/requirements need to be fulfilled to unlock it, and it plays out a different cutscene than the 'normal' ending. anyways, neat little quirk

"It has a will of it's own" - Steel Soul Jinn. Insert cutscene of the hollow knight looking back at Ghost thinking on whether or not to save the knight. And the cutscene where PK has a moment with the hollow knight. That argument doesn't have any merit. You don't even explain how there isn't any shade left. The Hollow Knight was infected for much longer and much worse, and it still has a shade.

In Ending 4 and 5, I think the dreamers are considered dead. This is because hornet would only wait for you in front of the black egg after you've killed all the dreamers (At least, that's what I think. I didn't try acquiring Void Heart before killing any of the dreamers)

I definitely think endings 3 and 5 are the best endings: as both end the tyranny of the Radiance whilst also not allowing the Void to rampage and consume all.
Ending 1 is just a dark souls kindling, so it just perpetuates the need for Hollow Knights.
Ending 2 condemns Hornet to die (and if Radiance leaks from the temple as it did before, it condemns the kingdom as well as the dreaming Hornet is locked inside the temple as it's sealer).
Ending 4 is the opposite of problem of the games premise: the darkness comes to consume our knight and seeks to usurp the Radiance in darkening the world instead of making it bright. The Knight becomes the Dark Lord.

While I knew basically everything in the video, I never considered that containing the Radiance could be an intrinsic want of the vessels (and by extension, the shades), adding a reason to why the shades all dissipate in the Dream No More ending.

Hey I just wanted to say, these are such creative spoiler warnings that I’ll remember for a long time. You made it so people can come to understand their ending without spoiling any replayability, while also helping them on their next playthrough so they don’t end up with any endings they’ve already seen. You give them the choice to find things on their own and make their own conclusions, with a little hint that doesn’t reveal anything about the next. That’s just cool. So many spoiler warnings in videos feel weirdly backhanded, but this is just nice.
My personal headcanon for ending 5 is that the dreamers do wake up, and at first Quirrel is all depressed, but he only gets halfway to the Blue Lake before being ambushed by Sheo and the Nailsmith, who march him back to Greenpath where they teach him pottery, crochet, and life-appreciation. Happy ending for everyone! 😊

Gonna disagree that HK and Hornet both ready up for battle in that last cutscene in the Black Egg Temple. Hornet certainly seems taken aback and raises her weapon, but less of an "im gonna destroy you" posture and more of an "oh snap whats that coming outta the dark."
HK is clearly using their nail as a walking-aid and from the perspective were given clearly steadies themself to rest upon the wall... in no shape to battle.
