Ive stumbled on your video during a RUclips rabbit hole sesh lol ....and I LOVE THEM! I have been watching with my children as they have some afghani children in their school so want to understand more about their culture. Its totally made me want to go. Once my children are older, it's on my list! Would welcome any advise/videos on where to go to look for guides, etc. I am also trying to speak some farsi as i believe these children in the school speak it, but i do wonder if they would understand some pashto also. Thanks for these wonderful videos. Ohhhh and a huge than k you for the captioning too and us not having to rely on RUclips subtitles! I need them, so thank you
Sorry for the slow reply, I am abroad at the moment! I think that understanding more about the Afghan culture would be really really lovely for the kids in the local school. They will be more than happy to share their culture with you I am sure if you ask them. They are generally quiet people but with the biggest heart and I know that learning their language, be it Farsi or perhaps Pashto would give them great pleasure 😍
As a non-pashtun citizen of the country, being an Uzbek I knew very little about Kandahar. It is good to see there are educated people and they can speak English as well, evendo broken 😅😊
Kandahar was the place I was most worried about.. I had heard from other travellers they didn’t enjoy it.. and yet it surprised me.. it was the place I had the best conversations.

They are generally quiet people but with the biggest heart and I know that learning their language, be it Farsi or perhaps Pashto would give them great pleasure 😍

As a non-pashtun citizen of the country, being an Uzbek I knew very little about Kandahar. It is good to see there are educated people and they can speak English as well, evendo broken 😅😊
Kandahar was the place I was most worried about.. I had heard from other travellers they didn’t enjoy it.. and yet it surprised me.. it was the place I had the best conversations.
