I really enjoy your videos. I served in the US army in Afghanistan many years ago. I later accepted Islam in Saudi Arabia. I had a profound respect for the people of Afghanistan and never understood why we were sent there in the first place. Happy travels.
Interesting, which cities did you served in. And also what specifically led you to Islam? (Just curious cuz i’m an Afghan)
That’s amazing to hear.. thanks ☺️
My brother May Allah S.W.T bless you with his mercy and success through in your whole life. ❤ Ameen
Could you please upload a video sharing your experience in Afghanistan and what lead you to Islam
How many afghan you killed
Carrie the kids are calling u "Khala" again n again... Khala means aunt 😊
in bangladesh 'khala' also means aunt. Probably loan word from farsi
In Bangladesh, we call it 'khala' as well in Bengali language !!! 😮
Khala is arabic @@user-zu7is3gz5s

Khala is *NOT* a Bengali word. You can say it's a Bangladeshi word. Definitely not Bengali.

@alial-yunani except Kazakhstan all of them were claimed by persia, no matter if they are turkic countries,
Yes, they came to that territory 700 years ago, but from middle asia, 3500bc iran kept claiming them.

You are a kind human soul! I really appreciate your feeling, experience, and your support for the nomadic and Afghanistan.I wish you have a safe, enjoyable journey.
One of the few vloggers to visit the most remote areas of an already war torn country. You're an honest content creator Carrie!
Thank you! 🙏
For old girl Vicky, things didn't work, and even old girl Elizabeth ended up in heaven with a dream unfulfilled to conquer Afghanistan. Here we have a British lady who is the only one who has conquered Afghanistan in the past 2000 years, only armed with a smile. That is an amazing achievement since the time of Alexander the Great. You have done a great job. Old chap Charles should make you a Knight of the English Kingdom for such a great feat. You are an ambassador of humanity in Afghanistan. Good job.
Bruh what😂 as an afghan comeone. We got folded
👌🌿
@@mrsull6720you guys did not get folded. Many of nations have tried and failed to conquer Afghanistan. Afghanistan still stands, it's people still live, still smile, and are still very capable fighters. Afghanistan is full of incredibly tough warriors. In recent history they fought off two of the greatest superpowers the world has ever seen, the US (my country) and Russia. Afghanistan wasn't folded. Afghanistan may have some scars but Afghanistan is still very much alive.
What? Are you delusional or what?
Very well said.
"When I return home, my husband will realize how safe Afghanistan is." Your response was so powerful in that situation and could have helped them appreciate/value things from a society and culture different from what they are familiar with. It's a shame it was lost in translation, but I commend your quick thinking here and everything you are doing with your videos to bring people together and bridge the cultural gaps.
Thanks.. I will never forget that conversation 🥰

These are the most interesting videos from you. I salute you for your Guts travelling alone as a woman in Afghanistan and venturing to the countryside.
And from whole journey, I learnt that religion doesn't matter in all cases. Just humanity matters.
Always humanity ❤️
It shouldn’t … But it does matter in this situation because this is the standard they use to govern their country with. The very reason why women are oppressed. These ideas of women not being allowed to be free come from this religion. Saudi just not long ago allowed women to drive. Afghanistan won’t allow women to get an education or work in some areas. Let’s not talk about Iran. It absolutely matters. It shouldn’t because what’s the point of investing so much in these amazing beautiful architecture but then you lack humanity when treating the women there.
@@mae8859exactly! I don’t understand how people don’t realize this readily known fact. Has to be the innocent ignorance of a sheltered existence.

There's something so beautiful about human connection that transcends being from two completely different places, climates, cultures, languages and time zones. "The human spirit in me recognises the human spirit in you." 🥰
I agree.. when humans just hang out together, magic happens 😍
Thank you for posting such wonderful videos that show the beauty and kindness of the Afghani people. I find myself sad at times when I see how some live, but their ever present smiles and hospitality just feeds the heart!!
Thanks for watching.. they are truly lovely people 🥰
This video touches my soul. You've brought so much happiness to these children. Greetings from Serbia!

This is very interesting. An Afghani family moved in next door and did not speak English; I am working on helping them learn their ABCs. They are so kind. I watched your Afghanistan videos to learn more. Thank you for sharing. By the way, where are the girls/females?
They are kind people.. you will enjoy getting to know them. Currently life for women in Afghanistan is very hard. They pretty much have to stay at home.. I have a video coming in 2 weeks which you may find interesting.

Just as you have a beautiful appearance, you also have a kind heart and a very beautiful inside, and I enjoyed playing with the children very much. May you always be successful, kind and beautiful lady.
From your Afghanistan vlog I think this one was my favorite! Seeing the nomadic ppl and how they live despite having many worldly pleasures they still seem so grateful, happy and content. Their love, respect and hospitality brought tears to my eyes. They have so little to offer yet they offer all they have! That is the generosity and hospitality of my people ❤️ I am so so glad you came to Afghanistan and you were able to experience all that it has to offer. I hope you can spread the joy you felt here and maybe the misconceptions and notions people have about Afghanistan can turn into a positive thought! Much love and stay safe Carrie ❤

The sweet souls of these children. Never will we know if they make it in life or war will kill them. I think of my own son who is 4 years old and just ache with sadness for the children and their safety.

Are the women too shy or not allowed to come and talk to you or did you talk to them off camera? Makes me sad that they are hidden away
Good catch.
I found it funny that a woman so proud that she "never asks her husbands permission" didn't talk to/about the women..
The men like young boys as well , fact
I don't know, but it made me cry. They almost have nothing, but they are still happy, yet we don't appreciate things in our lives.

Hello sister I love your videos as an afghan I really recommending you to go to one of these 2 wedding halls in Kabul. 1 is called city star hall and the other is called imperial continental they’re both located in Kabul and are very beautiful I’ve never seen a tourist go there because they always miss out. Both of these wedding halls look very beautiful and look like Dubai. It will shock people if they find out it’s located in Afghanistan and your video will attract lots of people to people from the west and they will see the true beautiful Afghanistan thx❤

I've read some of the comments below and am surprised no one was asking the question..."Where were all the women?" Obviously they are not far away as evidenced by all the children. cerry I greet you, you are a kind lady, you talk to the people of Afghanistan as if you have an old relationship with them and behave very well, and you have no example. Be happy❤❤❤
Sister carrie the people of Afghanistan have suffered alot because they were forced into war and if a country is forced into war all development stops and the after consequences that people have to bear for years is unimaginable.
I can see there is a long way to go based on the past.. I hope the regime can start to allow charities in to help though.. sort women’s rights out, then the UN will be on board and everything will be faster
Carrie proves that people are just people EVERYWHERE. If you visit, travel, you will see that everyone is welcoming when you are respectful and appreciative of their culture. As we all should be. We should all embrace, respect one another and appreciate our differences and similarities. For generations our governments try to portrait people in some corner's of the world as "different" and portray them as our enemies. I would LOVE to be there with you. Meet the people and help them in any way I could.
