The Argentine Experience : This is the dinner experience showcase in the video with a unique dinner party's concept. We have learned so much on fundamentals of what being an Argentine is all about, whilst simply having so much fun making our own empanadas and the Argentinian food feast that we got a chance to try for the first time. I went to university in Buenos Aires when I was 19-20 yrs old. And I lived in Recoleta! That was almost 20 years ago. BsAs will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for this walk down memory lane ❤️
Its a really incredible place! We loved it here!
Nice
But can you share more about the university Admission in Argentina.
JAJAJAJA Recoleta? obviously is nice because is the one of the place more expensive of Bs As. You should to go to Liniers or Flores 🤣 you don't survive 10 minutes
@@thomaspeter8211 it's free of charge, 100% free even for foreigners, unless you apply for admission to a private university.
200 pesos el vaso de jugo? Alto robo!
ajajaja terrible
I'm so happy Argentina is finally re-opening for international tourism. I can't wait to visit the country in January!
Great to see normalized life before the uncertain times we are experiencing. Thanks for sharing the good times during these difficult times.
So happy you feel that way :)
I'm brazilian, and I love Buenos Aires! 🤩❣️
I'm just loving your journey around South America & Mexico as well. It brings back a lot of great memories for me.
Argentina I must say so very civilized, good wine, great food, stunning architecture and sophisticated culture. Parts of Buenos Aires did remind me of Australian Cities especially where the English influence on early architecture is present like around the main Railway Station and City Grid. Aside from that BA is definitely the Paris of the Southern Hemisphere, an amazingly VAST metropolis of hundreds of individually different and diverse neighborhoods.
I will go back one day - promise!
Its worth going back! Its an amazing place!
Omg, thanks for saying that...♡
Hi! Im Argentinian. I'm glad that both of you had a nice experience❤️
We loved it here!
The security guard on a screen is given by a company called Prosegur. This man is conected to the flats in the building and is looking at a number of screens in different buildings. You talk to him when you visit someone in the building he would check with them and let you in.
Your AirBnB was in a very good place, in Recoleta. You were fifteen minutes by bus of Downtown (called Microcentro, where Plaza de Mayo is Located).
The Centro Cultural Recoleta was a former Franciscan Monastery, of the Recoletos branch, which gave name to the zone.
The Garrapiñada is nuts covered with sugar with vanilla essence. They use a copper bowl where you put the sugar, water and nuts. The traditional one is made using peanuts, but you can find made with almonds also.
The closing of an empanada is sometimes arcane knowledge, reserved only to initiates in that wisdom :)
A normal "asado" in any house made for the family consists of chorizo (thick saussage, the same in the "choripan"), may be "morcilla" (blood saussage), may be "Provoleta" (a thick medallion of Provolone Cheese with spices, melt on a special pan in the grill) and meat of different types (tira de asado (from de ribs), bife (steak), vacío (from the belly of the cow). And all that served with normal salads (lettuce, tomato and onion, or potato, egg and mayoinase) All those toppins are in "cool" parrillas but is not very used in households.
Your dessert after the asado was very very traditional. Cheese and quince or sweet potato sweet.
And you made an alfajor. In the drugstores in all the city you may find not less than 50 different types of alfajores of industry types. Then when you go to different places in the contry you'll find many other hand made or with local recipes.
Love this Vedo!! Buenos Aires was already in my bucket list of places to visit but this video makes me want to visit more!
Its really one of our favorite cities!
Thanks im of Argentina
I smiled when the two of you started discussing whether to walk or take the subway at the beginning of your video. Could have been a conversation between me and my wife, haha! Anyways, Buenos Aires does look really beautiful. I love the outdoorsy way of life as shown by your footage: market places, restaurants with outdoor seating... Amazing! Would love to go there some day. Amazing video, thumbs up and new sub! :-)
Thank you so much! It really is an amazing city, especially this time of the year!
I’m half Argentinian and half Norwegian and lives in Buenos Aires til I was 5. Sadly I don’t remember anything and I feel like I’m missing out on where I’m from and who I am. Watching your video to learn and feel 💞. Great video quality! I’m enjoying this a lot

Thanks mate! It is wild! I really want to visit the mountains here!
Red meat and wine is definitely the perfect Argentinian combo! 🥩🍷
Yea but i dont think much can beat our Seafood and wine we had in NYC haha
Divert Living That’s a fact!! We gotta do that again when we’re all in NYC again and this virus blows over
I'm glad you liked the city, and that you were able to enjoy it before the arrival of the quarantine.
There are places in Argentina that are worth visiting. Iguazú Falls, and the Perito Moreno Glacier, for example.
If you have not visited them, I recommend you do so in the future.
Greetings from B.A. !!!
We really want to see so much more of the country!
Yesss alfajores! Love them
They are so so so good!
I went to Buenos Aires on March 13th, 2020. The first day of Covid measures... although I didn't have a good time because of this, I must admit the vibe of the city was unique and really, really nice. I wish I had visited on another time.
8:36 CaRaPiNaRa ,jajaj los ame😂❤❤
South America trips have been amazing. It is fun to watch and so many things to learn about each country. The empanada class looks really interesting
It was really interesting!
"You can't say caramel because the locals will be very upset...you say 'doosay'" lol .
Thank you for show our country as you do!!!!!!! Im very sorry for the juice seller, he scammed you, the price for that juice is not over 50AR$. Im currently living in NY! Well that’s all, thank you guys, we love tourists and immigrants.
Your empanadas we’re GREAT!
Ahhh Stay safe in NY, also its fine we are used to is hahah
So so so good!
Garrapiñada! riquisimo!
my mum's been to Argentina and she said that it's a very beautiful country even tho she got robbed by some guy while in the city, the capital is actually called 'the Paris of the south' because it resemblance of Paris, nice video guys and photos! take care🧡
That's crazy, we feel very safe in Buenos Aires, never once feeling like we will get robbed. Sorry for what happened to your mom, and yeah totally agree that it's a very beautiful place to visit. You too, take care 🧡
I live in Argentina and i live day a day, here in the center have many thefts but no robberies with a gun, but in the neigboor hood when i live that is called "conurbano" you must be careful

All the food in the last segment omggggg. 😍 And wow to that guy who recognised Jimmy by the way he walks. 👏👏👏
I was very shocked about that as well hahaha
Awesome video! Thanks for the info. Looking forward to traveling again soon. Hope you're well!
Thank you so much! So do we!
I love Argentina! It's kind of an Europe city in South America! lol That big avenue with Obelisc in the final (I don't remember the name) is my favorite place!
Well I really wish it would be like an Europe city It is obviously really pretty there but there are very poor parts in Argentina which you can’t even imagine, also in Buenos Aires where I used to live. It’s a beautiful place to visit but to live there is not as good as people from the outside think. I appreciate that you like our country. I sadly moved to Europe with my parents and we want to go back but the situation is very bad right now :(
Another good video guys.
Thank you so much!
The content I need right now 🙏 Thank you! Vicariously traveling through your memories
Thank you so much! I hope it brings some sort of relief to you :)
Thank you for bring us to argentina😄 staysafe too my friend
Of course :) Thank you for watching!
All of your videos really calming
Thank you so much!
I'm into Europe travels but Argentina and South America in general are interesting too!
Its so so interesting! We really loved it here
Well argentina (precisely buenos aires) is known as the little Europe
great video!! definitely expecting a lot of good food now! :)
They have tons of amazing food!
Just a quick remider that Europe e the US are not the center of the world, so you can find good services e diferent technology out of those places
Yeah European often think South America is all backward.. when in fact the wealthy neighborhoods are generally on par with European cities when it comes to technology services and variety of foods and shopping. I know Europe well.. and there's nothing woow about it other than the history. Buenos Aires seems more lively and friendly.. with everything a big European city could offer.
Looks a lovely city and compared to my home town London is ridiculousy cheap
hahahah i hear London is expensive!

I am going to answer you in Spanish because I am Argentine and at least use the translator so you can learn the language here.
(ruclips.net/video/57waq1HdllQ/видео.html).

Well, bring your euros (or £) and you will be rich here .. haha. You should come to visit, there are beautiful landscapes especially in Patagonia.

I think I have made my mind up about going in December. Also, that bag with the face was awesome.
It was cool right! Kinda creepy as well though haha
The best moments to go to B.A. are from March to May (autumn) and from September to November (spring).
Winter is too cold, and the days are short.
Summer is too hot.
In December it starts to get hot. But it is a good time to go to B.A., anyways.
I love your videos!
Thank you so much!
i like your videos alot and i havent been to argentina either
Its beautiful!
ok
Good looks!,
I love BA, great vlog. You do have a certain walk
hahahha really!?!
Thank you so much!
I love watching your travel videos. It inspires me to travel as well ❤️
Thank you so much!
I missed EZE aka Buenos Aires sooo much!! The Good air!😁😌🍃👍🏻 My fond memories... Gracias por compartir el video!👍🏻📸
Nice vid but when you say, "this reminds me of the USA, very clean, very organized", that's a misstatement. So South Central is clean and organized? Is the Bronx very clean and organized? Is skid row very clean and organized? What you meant to say was "this reminds me of the BEST parts of the US". Buenos Aires is very beautiful and very few cities in the US can compare.
well its the same both ways, argentina is pretty? no, clearly you havent been to the hoods there, villa 31, fuerte apache, la 1 11 14, they are referring to palermo and recoleta, obviously when you say that a country is very organized you are referring to the "Tourist zone" or the high end zones
We always enjoy your videos !!
That means a lot to us, thank you !:)
Another great video,at least your keeping busy while we are all locked down. Today I saw on the Thaiger News channel from Thailand that the death rate over there is going down. They only had 28 deaths yesterday so hopefully the worst is over, now all you have to do is stay healthy and safe until the U.S.opens up. May God Bless you both.
I hope it gets better everywhere! Thank you so much for watching, we really hope you are staying safe!
It has a USA vibe, very well organized, very well maintained!!! hahah yeah this video really aged well, because the US is the measuring stick for every other country.

Hey Jimmy and Tah, idk if you remember me, I responded to one of your IG stories (runasig) when Tah was looking for something Asian in some grocery (I think) while I was in Buenos Aires last January. Anyway, Tah cracked me up when the lady was saying apunto, then Tah said puto (rice cakes in Filipino) and puta (hahahah, google it). Cheers to you both in these Covid times. Stay safe, ciao from Houston.
